Hi, I’m in New York Westchester county plenty of twisty roads here. Just added the zx4rr to the stable 2 weeks ago. Very fun bike even with the detune. I love the sound from the ram air intake as well as the inline four. I imagine how much better it will get after the ecu flash. I agree about the Graves slip on don’t like the look. I noticed when my fuel gauge indicates empty I still have over a gallon of fuel left as I can only add 2.8 gallons to top it off. Otherwise I am 58 years old and really enjoying this bike
I think the fuel guage issues is probably a Kawi thing in general. I have the same issue with my 2021 ZX6R, except my problem is WORSE: It can show near or at empty, and be radically different. Sometimes it has a gallon left and sometimes it has fumes. It's really inaccurate under half a tank and I never want to gamble because this ain't the old carb' days with the emergency valve.
Here in Portugal they come advertised at dealerships as 80hp and oficial Kawasaki Portuguese website as 77Hp stock. I think they all come 77Hp stock on all EU countries
iirc, the version that is released in the US is restricted to the bone. a reflash and a full system exhaust would probably give you around 40%-50% more horses. you'll probably love the bike even more after you do that! :D
@@loftyintentions1985 if you prefer the 636 over the 4rr then good for you. Unfortunately for me, the 636 is too high in terms of seat height. I also live in a place where a 400 would be very much enjoyed since you could squeeze everything out of it. Mid size and liter bikes in my place are just too much.

You got me wondering now watching through you video. it says you currently have 240 Subscribers. How many have you picked up since you began featuring the Kawasaki ZX4RR? A Pilot like you needs the ECU Boost. You can handle the speed. Don't let anyone get in your way. In my day, I would just wheelie over them. VW Beetles were the most fun to wheelie Over. Even More fun than Smoking a pack of Nasty Harleys in a wheelie over .80 Don't do that. Your Brakes are Excellent. Keep it under a Hundred though and remember to save some Beer for tomorrow. So do you like the Beatles?

@@MOTOSWITHDAK I watched a video today on how he pulls his thing out. How to to open and take apart the bike to get at the ECU and get it out. Under the seat. it is about 5x 5 inches in size. He also mentions the connectors. You should be able to .find it easily. I cannot promote other YT channels. He does a Dyno, before and after. Well it is not exactly heart surgery but it hurts. Yuck.

Actually, with a very good handling frame and even the drum bakes actually worked Well! A little this, a bit of that and the Wild thing performed TWICE as GOOD! About 330 lb's 120 MPH at least! "Better than Sex" You're kidding, right? 45 Horse Power out the door.? Pretty as HELL! Feels like it goes like the Devil, Smoking even as well as the bigger Guys! You might need to be only 120 pounds to truly appreciate it but it sure would be nice if they could make then again, Today exactly as they were. Same color too! Nothing like it now but Everybody would. Come on down, Only $899!
Haha watching this is a throw back. On my ZX10R I’m at 100 in first in what feels like 2 secs. Started on the R3 and within 3 months moved to 1000cc. I advise dont spend too much on this bike. You’ll be in the 1000cc class soon as you get bored of this one FAST. Once you upgrade, hopefully to the ZX10, get the SC Project 3/4 pipe and you’ll have the loudest bike anywhere: sound is VERY important for safety and these 400s don’t make hardly any noise no matter what pipe you have on.
For as many times as i read comments saying the same thing, 600 super sports would be best sellers. So either you are too young to ride, you dont ride, or you have ZERO intention of buying ANY bike. In any case, the 636 is an excellent bike. But if there is a reason there are so many different bikes, even if some are slower.
@@tortuga34 I'm 37, have a gsxr600 with arrow thunder full system, Woolich ecu flash and many, many other addons I don't need to discuss with a TH-cam randomer, who makes silly assumptions based on my opinion of not spending the same amount of money on a strangled 400 fan boy bike. You want slower, you want sporty? There's a reason the ninja 400 and 650 exist. Nice try.

You can purchase a zx25r full system exhaust and it will fit on the zx4rr.

My deepest respect to anyone who can rationalize spending over $10k on a 400.
Because it is fun and a lot of people love the i4 sound, simple as that. HP per $ is not the only metric for a bike.
People pay that for ktm 250 dirt bike. With zero tech not even lights or abs ,etc. Get real.
