    I truly enjoy the manner in which you clearly describe the step by step development of your flies, and the reasons for each precise step!

    These flies are perfect . I been tying like this for awhile and I’ve got down to using 3 pheasant tail fiber per fly and Xsmall wire and the sink rates are crazy . Easily the most underrated channel on fly tying !

      Thank you so much for such compliment
      I usually go with more PT barbs. Except for smaller flies. Then i will go with less. Cheers

    Thanks for another helpful video Vladimir...really enjoy the way you clearly describe the step-by-step tying of your flies, and the underlying reasons for each precise step...my own flies are becoming much more consistent, slimmer and productive ( as they give me more confidence when fishing, even on new, unfamiliar rivers for wild brown trout)...big thanks for your 'No pressure -Up' technique

      Thank you so much. Glad my videos are having good impact on your work. But, as you noticed... Confidence is a big factor... Without it we wouldn't be able to fish well 😀🍺

      Thanks so much.. Do you guys order over aliexpress? If you do i am sure its possible. Just long wait for sure. Plus, one of the viewers said Hends has good dubbing. So no problem for dubbing 🍺🍺😀

    Love your teaching technique. You explain everything very well and show us how to use the techniques. And that fly box is a work of art. Mine look like a paint-by-numbers done by a 5 year-old. Thanks for the inspiration.

      @Oholisfliesandfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much. You will get there. Just do step by step. Tie one pattern until you get it to be amazing... Then move on to another... After few patterns you will improve technique and will be able to improvise and have more fun i guess 😀😀

    The Frenchie is one of my best producing flies in Montana. I’m not crazy about the Hareline UV Ice Dub for the hot spot as it’s too coarse, so I ended up with a finer dubbing from Hends. I’ve also had good luck tying this fly using Hareline’s Pheasant Tail Ice Dub for the body instead of the natural fibers. It seems particularly effective on Sunny days.
    On a different topic, I stopped at Slide Inn today. Kelly was unfamiliar with your channel, but then scanned your videos and was complimentary. One of the younger guys at his shop knew your work well. He mentioned your channel when discussing meticulously tied Perdigon flies. This is my second trip to Montana this month. The camp is about 700 miles from my house, so it’s a long drive.

    • @Oholisfliesandfishing
      @Oholisfliesandfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the mention. Kelly's channel is one of my favourite. Seems like very practical guy.
      I haven't tried hends dubbing. Thanks for recommendation because what i use is not so easily available in US i guess.
      Cheers 😀🍺

    Great teaching video. One of my favorite flies. So happy to see you starting to use rotary function of vise. So many tips using rotary that don’t get covered on most tying videos. For example, when palmaring a hackle, you have to keep the hackle from twisting from the rotation.

    They all look great and should fish well, especially for anyone fishing in a tight line style to the nymphs, and directly in contact with the bottom.

    What hooks do you tie on

    • @Oholisfliesandfishing
      @Oholisfliesandfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is chinese hook. Not a branded one. Its the same as Dohiku jig i used before.... And quality is just as good.
      If i need to choose favourite brand i would always go for TMC, Gamakatsu... They are consistent...
