Stavrno neverovatna količina detalja koju kazes prilikom svakog video. Počevši od materijala, tehnika, bukvalno svega…Salu na stranu ali moram poceti da beležim te stvari u svesku “ Oholi’s tutorial notes “ jer se uvek nesto zaboravi. Ovaj klip je za sada moj omiljeni. Hi Vladimir, this is exactly the type of pattern i tie and prefer to fish with in terms of size/ weight /shape ; there are excellent for both grayling and trouts ; you've made here a good choice of materials with contrasting colors , i am sure it will catch fish ! BTW it's again a very good tutorial ( i appreciate the way you explain how to fish with and completely agree !) and the quality of your image is superb ! Greatings ! Ghjanto.

Glad we're on the same page. I had graylings in mind with this one. But interestingly enough i got better results with trout. 4 fish in 4 casts.
I just got new camera hence better image. Sony a6400 plus macro lense.

Hello Vladimir, thanks for posting another great video. Just wanted you to know, I think your a great teacher. You are ingenuitive, and you pay attention to every little detail. I have watched and rewatched so many videos to see the little things like exactly how much cdc, which way to spin the thread, how to get the wire to lay through the biot…. But you always point these things out. I watch many videos from Kelly Galloup, Lance Egan and the Fly Fish Food crew, Loren Williams, Norm Maktima, Dom Swentosky, and so many more - your my favorite.
Hope you get to the States someday, I’d pay whatever to have you guide or attend your tying seminar.
    Take care,
    BG

Thank you so much Brian. I do have a teacher myself 😀 i love this tying and i want to improve constantly. Playing attention to detail becomes easy once you get a habit to do so. It slows down your tying but just a bit. But not much. Benefits outweigh more time you invest. Kelly is one of my favourite tiers out there. He is amazing. Practical.
Glad to hear i am among those names. 😀😀😀
I wish i can come to states too. I wouldn't mind living in some nice fly fishing place like montana 😀😀
I was thinking to maybe start some live streams soon... Maybe even online classes. But not sure how to do it since i have a baby boy that either runs like crazy or sleeps 😂😂 but bigger issue is time zones we are all in. Majority of my viewers are from states and i am in china.... Literally 12hours difference on average...
Thank you for your kind words and support...
      Cheers from China
      Vladimir 🍻😀😀

@@Oholisfliesandfishing Thanks for the feedback, Vladimir. Greatly appreciate your thoughtful reply. If you do decide to do any live Zoom classes, I am definitely interested.
Btw - I tied up a bunch of the midges and tried them out today, the fish loved them; ) My home water is highly pressured, and I’m admittedly no pro fisherman, but I put a lot of fish in the net. In one of the deeper pools I tied one with a 3mm bead on point and another with a 2.4mm bead on a tag. Caught many fish on both flies. Will be a permanent fly in my box. Take care,
      Brian

    • @Oholisfliesandfishing
      @Oholisfliesandfishing  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@grossbiology glad to hear that you already tried those. Even more glad they worked out well.
Pressured waters where i fished usually demanded extremes. Either small stuff or large.... Average and common flies seem like didnt work well.
For zoom and streaming i got cables, video card and software... Now i need to figure out how to set it all up and how to manage time efficiently
Thank you again... If i start doing it i will announce it of course 😀😀🍻
      Tight lines

Hi I really enjoy your videos a lot I cant believe i didn't find you sooner but anyway I really enjoy how you explain how your tying the fly it helps so much while I'm usually very frustrated with nymphing in general the more research I do on euro nymphing the more it just makes sense to me I'm excited to try it just waiting on the rod i bought and reel I didn't go to expensive on the rod just because I've never done it before and I figured middle of the line would work just fine to start! Your videos have really inspired me to tie some fly's so I've been spending some time tying bad thing is I just can't seem to spend a lot of time tying it just starts to wear on me so I have to take breaks. I'm super excited to try your flies on the river I can't wait Thank for your videos!

Once you get a hang of it, nymphing is logical. Not super easy but makes sense. And its fun.

Can't say how much i appreciated that!
Seeing the boxes and what you carry.
That thought me a lot more than you think!
    Also..
You made me start counting thread turns and using flat vs round thread depending on the needs of the fly at the time. So yeah I started spinning the bobbin more often. Great improvement in the fly quality!
You have a great eye for detail and a pedagogical approach that seems to be inherited..use it.. it makes you a fly Tyer online that sets you apart from all the rest! I learn 100 times more from your videos than any other of the big channels!

Decided to take just two nymphs to the Waioeka River down-under in NZ. - "The only two nymphs" from your tying video and I was not disappointed with the success. I outfished the 4 other fishermen I met and managed to give them a few flies to improve their odds. I have tied up a box with just your flies which continue to impress. I will fish your latest Zebra Mayfly Nymph this week minus the purple dub and substitute with Ice dub as I cant obtain the purple in time. The Chinese branded dub you use is not readily available so I will have to search the Net. Thanks for your continuing inspiration.

Hey Vladimir. This is a really nice little bug dude. I already like nymphs a lot and I want to try smaller ones like this little Zebra. I’ll definitely have a go at it. My only problem is that I’ve saved rather a lot of flies-to-tie and naturally that means I’ve a lot to do! lol

Try these for start: PT with slight variations. Where size and weight are the most important factors.
Same goes with hares ear and cdc prince.... These are nymphs.
As for dries.... Cdc&elk, F fly, for caddis flies and stones.
Simple no hackle mayflies with cdc or snowshoe for wings.... Cover sizes you have in the area and three colours... Pale cream, brown (pt works) and olive... Thats more or less all you need
