I recently bought 250 superworms from flukers and everything was great. I live in Vermont so obviously right now its winter. They shipped them and they were still alive upon arrival. Everything went great! I'm telling other people about them and will be ordering again for my geckos

Hey Kenan I’m working on breeding Varanus prasinus green tree monitors. A lot of people buy these as cheap imports and they just die. When I produce them would you be interested in taking one in as a ambassador animal?
Please do! We need more CBB in the hobby for sure. They’re such a great species to keep once they’ve acclimated but I agree, the WC imports are terrifyingly fragile and all-too prevalent. A well-started prasinus from a good breeder is a joy to see.

My boyfriend and I bought a baby Sulcata tortoise a few days ago. It is so fun and cute watching it do its thing. I will need to rewatch your video on sulcata. I wish you babies good luck on your new homes!

@@BajatheChickenMan right now it’s 3 years old. It’s not too big … yet. They do grow pretty huge and will need a lot of space. Just make sure you do research about them.

I’m just getting started with your channel and this community as a whole. I have a question: why did you choose lettuce as their first “meal”? Wouldn’t the moistened tortoise chow be more nutritious? Or does it not matter cuz they still have the yolk sac inside? Please forgive this if it’s a dumb question ... like I said, I’m new to all of this. Love your channel! 🙌🏼
Kenan probably used lettuce as their first meal due to its high water content. id assume the water will help get their digestive systems up and running faster and being their first meal it likely needs to be basic as their bodies havnt yet buillt up the proteins to break down all different kinds of food (kinda like how babies have to slowly work up to eating normal food as their bodies havnt developed fully to handle it but not as bad).

They really don’t need a ‘meal’ until a few days after they completely absorb their egg sac either. Lettuce like the commenter above said is just an easy first snack. ❤️

Ok so I was wondering could you keep a baby tortoise inside with no artificial lighting if you set it up in front of a window seal?
Most modern windows are designed to filter out the UV from the sun so most tortoise keeps don't recommend it. The same UV our tortoises need is damaging to carpets and furniture.

Don't turn your tortoises if they flip. They can and will right themselves (sometimes they can't if they're on a flat / unnatural surface) but they need to learn how to do this themselves for when you aren't around.

Question: I’m in the market for a baby cherry head ( male) is there any advice you could give me for things to look for while picking out a baby? Or the breeder themselves?
And what are the things I need to keep the little guy happy and healthy until he’s big enough to move into his enclosure?

Do you keep the northern curly tails? When I lived in Florida they were absolute favorite lizard. I brought three of them to the hellhole of a state that I had to move too.
Hey, so I have two babies! I was wondering if it's possible to tell the difference between a cherry head and a redfoot when they are babies? So like 4 month old baby Tortioses. Because I am starting to think that one of my babies could be a cherry head. These two cuties came from seperate clutches.
