Very happy with this route. I looted the mage in Helgen since it's the fastest way to get a guaranteed 20 gold to take the carriage to Riften, and since you also get the mage hood and robes, I sold those to Grelka to get just enough gold for the rest of the run. By going to jail in Riften I got the lockpick I needed to go to Aventus. I lost some time to getting a killcam on Astrid (which happened because I kept using flames on her while she was dying instead of letting the fire kill her), not getting a sneak attack on Arnbjorn, and getting killcams on Gabriella and Nazir. Someone who's better than me at doing combat fast can probably beat this.

How do you get the courier to spawn at dragon Bridge? I've tried twice now and he doesn't show up..
Just gotta make sure enough in-game time passes before taking the carriage to Solitude. You can fast travel around a bit to make it work
