Great video and tuts. One of the best way to find the ACC (accessory) 12 Volts Power in your car is from the "Secondary Fuse-box" Inside your car, normally it is located directly below your dashboard, some Ford have them on the Right, while Nissan and most Japanese cars are located on the Left portion of the dash near the OBD2 Inputs. It's where your "Cigarette Lighter Fuse" is located and it is an ACC unit, just tap to it. Although, in some car it's difficult to run a wire from the hood to the Inside-Dash of the car, some car it's very easy, simply pull a rubber grommets, then your LED wires are in.

It seems that the comment section has it all covered, bit it needs to be said over and over again...Do NOT wire your aftermarket daytime running light in this manner.
The people that uploaded this video should be ashamed for giving such horrible advice. The relay socket is no place to junction electrical wiring from.
The other issue by judging all the 👍 means that you may have directed some inexperienced people to use your method and compromise the vehicles electrical integrity.

If someone ever removes that fuse to replace it, that wire will fall out and the person may not know why or where it was.

My car is 2016 yaris model with no DRL so I want a DRL. I couldn't find the ACC fuse in the engine fusebox and it's a hassle if I tap it in the dashboard fusebox, I did this in the horn relay but my horn just blared continuously lololol embarrassing, instead of the horn relay, I shoved the wire to the relay beside it namely FAN 02 and it works. Because my switchback is plug and play I figured it is still protected by the oem relay and fuse and the Drl wire is just a trigger not the power source. Been running this setup for about 4 years now. The switchback and drl is still running good.

Lots of hate... Yes, it's a hillbilly solution but I think it should work just fine:
The OEM relay is fused, so there are no increased risk of fires. The contact should be just fine if done correctly (no bare wire outside the socket). Like the old saying goes: If it looks stupid and works, it's not stupid.
That being said, "add-a-circuit" is a better way to do it if a ACC fuse is available. You should also add a relay if the DRL has a high current draw, regardless of which method is used.

So it looks to me from the beginning of the video that these lights come with a relay system. If so, she's installing these incorrectly. The red power wire that she's tapping in to the fuse box should go to the battery positive (and the black to the battery negative as shown). There should be a separate trigger wire. This is the one that needs to go to an accessory circuit. It won't be powering the lights, just signaling them to turn on when the car is turned on.
Doing what she did will work, but it's not the safest choice or the most consistent source of power.

Why not use a $6 SpyTec Hardwire fuse adaptor? Safer and you don't mess circuitry that may cause fire.

If you do this.. just put a separate relay and fuse for safety....

The running lights will come on when the key is in run position and the engine is running and shut off when the key is off and engine stops running. it's automatic NO switch.

there's always an open slots in the dash fuse box inside the car. Use a test light to find which one comes on when on acc.
i did that for my dad car with the leds i got from your giveaway.
