Even the little dialogue when characters transform, fuse, etc. Is full of memories. Vegeta: " like this, right?!" Completely forgot about how Vegeta ABSOLUTELY refused to fuse with Goku until he heard about Trunks and threw his pride to the side to save him. It reminds me that the series was more than just fights, beams, and transformations. It's been forever since I've seen the show, gotta watch it sometime soon again.

I always felt that Vegetto and omega shenron were like also broken in the game because you never have to charge your energy like ever. But they have their weaknesses like if you go past the big bars your defense lowers and you take more damage but you have your FULL attack no matter what. And since the big bars charge automatically and far faster you are at max ki all the time. The fusion characters than the potara ones do have max all the time but time its last 30 seconds or so ssj4 gogeta is far less lol. Oh you know in the practice mode if you do the fusion dance the game does the little part of having the same ki like in the story and you can even see it change when in practice mode and hit the select button it gives you max ki and you can see it change there it kinda neat detail they did
Holy hell... We used to play only this game in our ps2 like 12-13 years back and it was really amazing finding out all different combos, ultimate attacks and finish moves ..

More or less. But Goku will make different fighting and pain noise when you have the fusion skill equipped. Sadly Vegeta don't because he'll have the merged voice while not fused with Goku yet. IDK about Goten and Trunks because I don't have their fusion skills yet.
This was definitely one of the best games ever made what I used to like about tenkaichi 3 is that every time you transformed you had a brand new set of skills I used to like battle of energy blast to see who can push it
Now I know why I love this particular DBZ intro. : Its because it feels so canon... as if they were beginning a new chapter after Buu Saga in some strange way. I would have gone nuts had they did this for Super, but Goku is Super Saiyan 4, so this could be right after GT and some things happen to get time all screwed up. IAC, rhe man reason ILT is because Goku has been separated from everybody! He has reached Super Saiyan 4 and there's nobody next to him in power! It keeps Goku as the hero protagonist while allowing all other characters to remain the story in various ways. Sort of taking Vegeta's Buu statement revelation that Goku's the best. It never ends Vegeta's quest to pursue growth and power - they all continue... even more. However, Goku's Saiyan drive, his innate, earth inspired nature pushes him to pursue gambles in training, allies, masters and more. How much more awesome it then becomes to see them all grow, each warrior reaching new levels of power far below Goku at key and critical moments during awesomely displayed and told battles between Goku and new enemies. Think about it. I love the idea of Cell challenging himself, growing in skill, power and his own person outisde of having their techniques, but putting a spin on them all to reflect who he is. Now imagine him always coming back challenging Goku, Vegeta and Gohan, Piccolo. However, for Cell, their are Goku's old enemies and new ones who get in the way and for Cell, he has to go through them to get to the others... sort of his rivalry with Frieza, Cooler, new villains and others - he becomes Goku in a sense. That changes things at times because like all Saiyans, Cell has that pride thing too, but as an android believing in Gero's genius up to a point. Man, there are so many possibilities... so many stories that could be told!
You miss db battle of z that's odd a lot of people dislike it but I also miss the game too online was too good in that game I didn't have access to two unique characters which was ssj bardock and ssj vegito but can't change that

In game transformation, the rush mechanic in infinite world/shin budokai and beam struggles is all I wanted in fighters thoes were the funnest mechanics imo
@@MGrey-qb5xz I didn't get to play infinite world so budokai 3 was always a favorite especially with the dope ass beam struggles made you feel like you were goku pushing vegeta against his galick gun instead of watching them struggle and knowing the outcome to this day beam struggles is still one of my favorite mechanics in a dbz gam3 and the "dragon rush" from shin budokai 2 I belive on psp
Having the SSGSS transformations in this game would've been funny cause the matches probably wouldn't have lasted long enough for you to reach that transformation all the way from base! 😂😂

Idk if they're in the game but you missed Tiencha fusion and Hercule Potara, also super buu absorption tien and yamcha. Theyre in budokai 2 but idk about 3
@@astralmaster Futur trunks never got to ssj2 level in DBZ. He only did in DBS. That's supposed to be his bulky form but i guess they got lazy andjust wrote ssj2 and added the yellow lighting insteak of remodelling an entire character like they did in budokai 1 with the super vegeta form.
