Still one of the most ambitious artistic fight ever made. The dread, the darkness, the various stages of a two inhumane battle ready gods whose have such difference battle techniques equally driven by hatred and vengeance, the un-ease feeling of the first fight takes me back to Hellraiser with all chains and mystique. You don't hit Hades, you cut out pieces from him, and even then you have make sure the pieces are destroyed. Then you push him into the wall, breaking the entire structure of the room from a pitch black environment to an open view while Kratos snare him in and pushes him relentlessly into the roof over and over until he falls into a watery source behind... The horror is beaten, you have taken yourself from darkness to light, there some mobs attacking you, you relax... a few seconds pass then , out from the water raises a grotesque magnicide beast , its brilliance of fight style lost, its became a oversized hulk who only wants to smash whoever in front of him. You only trying to avoid this monsters as it hammers it hands into the ground.. Now Kratos become the stylish ones, moving around, while Hades becomes an mad-driven force where thoughts has escaped and all primary urges drive it. The fight end with Kratos ripping out the soul-drinkers own essence and ending with blue lighted figures escaping from the beast head. The whole city falls apart, every soul attacks it master, who only been able to run the place with fear of his might. Now that lost, the harries tear down the structures, the mermaids in river Styx drowns him, and eats him alive like pissed-off piranhas. You not only defeated a God of Underworld, but saved thousands of condemned souls. The ending parts happens without much music played.. The darkness has been beating, the light prevails.

Pretty sure Persephone exploded. I'm not sure how her body can still exist. Actually now that I think about it, so did Ares, and his body still exists too. Weird.
out of all the god of war walkthrough i can safely say you are the only one with actual talent cause of the way you play every one else either tanks the damage or dodges then uses the bow you are the only one whos gameplay feels actually skillfull

In the comics, it was explained that Kratos destroyed the ambrosia meant to resurrect Ares. By doing so, he basically destroyed the food of the gods and their way or reviving.

Anyone wonder how Hades was able to return back to the underworld so quickly? Last that was seen of him was when he was pulling down one of the titans on Mt. Olympus.
@@LordRumshi I'm pretty sure that there was a portal on Mt Olympus that could teleport him directly to the underworld, called Hyperion Gate (the same portal where kratos would be able to escape from underworld). Or if he wish, he could jump from above to the River Styx that connected to Hades' Realm (the same place where kratos fell after being betrayed by Gaia).
how so? he always backs his words up. if he said he will kill Zeus, then Zeus will die, even if he has to fight his way all through Olympus and wreck all of the other gods that get in his way to do it (clearly Aphrodite and Artemis knew better than to get in his way haha though iirc Artemis isn't a big fan of Zeus anyways so maybe she didn't care if Kratos wanted to kill him and eayh...Aphrodite ^_^ she did get in the way...but what man would be angry about THAT kind of distraction XD ). The utter carnage that is GoW 3 is the result ;)
They are in the Fields of Elysium, and Kratos had too much darkness in him to ever go there. He gave up the chance to in Chains of Olympus, because Persephone was going to destroy everything.
Hades could have been the most powerful God of the Greek pantheon probably even more powerful than his brothers Zeus and Poseidon if he had the titans trapped in Tartarus and take their powers for himself .

Speaking of vengeance, I am sure Demeter wanted to get her revenge for killing her daughter but she wasn't in the game. There was one who came for Persephone but got trapped and then burned by Kratos.
Yes, because I've beaten Chaos twice (once on PS3 version, again on PS4 version) and that damage he took at 15:54 was way too high to have been Titan mode.
Other than killing his father Zeus Kratos hated his uncle Hades for preventing him to get the ambrosia for his newborn daughter Calliope and for killing his friend Captain Nikos and his Spartan comrades. Other than that he hates his uncle for separating him from Lysandra and Calliope. Now this time Kratos shall return bitter favor.

Yeah, the bow is very useful. You don't need magic to use it and with the upgrade it does double damage!
