Do you ever put carbonated drinks in a container like this? I'm on the fence a little. If you liked this, you might like my Ninja Sip Perfection Review as well: th-cam.com/video/nxNXpC2LqtM/w-d-xo.html
I bought this cup a year ago after received the Thirsti for Christmas. I am a slow drinker, and it lives up to all the advertising. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.
Nucleation points are a real thing. They are what cause the bubbles to FORM in the first place. Less nucleation points, less bubbles form, less gas to escape. Something like ice cubes have a huge amount of nucleation points, that's why when you pour a root beer into a glass with ice cubes, it foams way up. The smoother the surface, the less chance for the bubbles to form. Even if you think it's very smooth, at the micro level, it's not really. So the "smoother", the better, even if you can't completely tell the difference by eye. Thanks for the video!
☕ Hi Joe, I think we should both be working for Ninja ... They should be working on the Ninja Coffee travel mug, for use on their machines with a built in flip up straw 🤑
Great video and appreciate your thoughtful approach to thinks...Product-wise in my non-important opinion - Ninja made a solution looking for a problem. I can leave a can of coke on the counter with it still being fizzy the same timeframe later.
I remember when I was young and stupid 😅 I put some bubbly root beer into a Tupperware cup with a lid and brought it to work in my lunch bag... What a mess that ended up when the top popped off! Carbonation is no joke!
@@getstew thanks, man. I built a freestanding studio kitchen to do my videos in and I put acoustic panels on 3 of the walls plus a bunch on the ceiling. I fix to audio in Adobe Audition also. Managed to get some pretty nice results for a little lav mic.
Agreed.... They did that with their air fryers a little while back, too. They named 2 totally different ones the Ninja Doublestack... Your thirsty comment makes a lot of sense, though.... Oddly enough you think it would also be added to the accessory page of the Thirsti machine... Or maybe a discounted bundle.
I’m boycotting Ninja at this point. Their products have become fringe and marginal. Maybe they can come out with a ninja air - something that pulls the air out of the environment and mixes it with … uh … maybe they’ll come up with something. Who knows. Maybe it’ll be awesome and I can end my stupid boycott.

@@boblafleur8582 well, thank you too my friend for that explanation. I learn something new from you guys every day.
Nucleation points are why mentos make diet coke go boom.
I love mine, it's great. Keeps the drinks fizzy way past the 24hr mark and stays cold even when hiking
Glad to hear it's working out for you!

LOL... surprised they haven't done one of those yet.
I love mine and the Ninja Thristi..
Great video. It would have been better if you compared the fizziness to a regular travel mug.
Good idea.... Will do that in the next one. Gonna be comparing this one to the Sip Perfect cup.
@ looking forward to that video
I bought mine when i bought my ninjia thirsti and i love it keepa my drinks really fizzy 😍

I tends to agree with ya.... gonna be doing more extensive testing and compare it to their other cup soon.
I will test it out. 😁
Bought one based on this review
Glad to hear it! I hope you like it.

LOL... was there anyone around when you opened it?
Like everything.... Watch a few and put it all together..... That's what I do:)
Appreciated!
Wow, you've got some good audio there!

I usualy don't carry a Hot beverage Mug unless I go to Starbucks. LOL I do have a Hydroflask Water Bottle 4 Ice Cold Water to carry around.
Cool... Ever try anything carbonated in that?
@@JoesPhenomenal: No I never Tried any Carbonated Beverages in my Water Bottle. I did put Hot Coco Chocolate in it a couple of times.
It looks like that cup was designed for that machine. That's why they called it thirsty cup!

3:02 someone badly wants to be part of the video there
He's a ham. haha

Nearly 20 minutes to review a water bottle. Come on man.
