In this post we are going to know the history of Sabarimala Ayyappan. Mahishi, Mahishasura's younger sister. Shaking the heavens and the earth, Mahishi decided to take revenge on the gods for destroying his brother Mahishasura. Mahishi did penance to Brahma to get that power. Brahma appeared before her and asked for a boon. Mahishi asked that her death be caused by the son of Shiva and Vishnu. I got the boon I asked for. Mahishi was conquering heaven and earth. The Devas could not bear the grief and appealed to Lord Shiva. Ayyappan incarnated as the Saiva Vaishnava Jyoti through Mohini, an aspect of Shiva and Maha Vishnu. While Ayyan was crying as a child in Pambatira, the Pandya king and Pandala king Rajasekaran thought that God had blessed him with this child to remove his childlessness.
He brought the child and gave it to the queen. If there is a bell around his neck he is called Manikandan and Ayyappan. The queen became pregnant by the grace of God. Balakan was born with all Lakshanas. His name is Rajarajan. Rajasekaran realizes that Manikandan's arrival will bring him all the benefits. The minister who does not like Manikandan tries to destroy Manikandan himself. But nothing worked. Then by his trickery he gets the palace doctors to tell them that they need Pulipal to cure the maharani's illness.
Manikandan goes to the forest to collect tiger milk. Awaiting Aiyan's arrival, the Devas worshiped the Lord at Ponnambala Hill and told him about the grief caused by Mahishi. Manikandan overpowers Mahishi and throws away her body, and Mahishi's body falls on the banks of the Azhudha river. Ayyappan dances on her and kills Mahishi. Devas, who were happy that Mahishi's cruelty was over, praised and worshiped Manikandan in various ways. Then everyone turned into tigers and went to Pandalam to fulfill Ayan's tasks. The people were panicked when they saw the tiger gang coming. Realizing Ayyappan's power and pride, the minister and the queen apologized to Manikandan. Manikandan also has nothing to apologize for. He said that everything has happened according to God's plan. The work I was born on earth was done. Now I am going to heaven, he said. Then King Rajasekaran said that he wanted to build a temple for Manikandan. He asked Ayyappan where to build the temple. Immediately Manikandan took his bow and shot an arrow. He said build a temple wherever this arrow falls. The arrow fell on Sabarimala. Later Raja Rajasekaran built a temple for Ayyappanukkan there.
இப்பதிவில் நாம் சபரிமலை ஐயப்பனின் வரலாற்றை அறிந்துகொள்ளவிருக்கிறோம். மகிஷாசுரனின் தங்கையான மகிஷி. தன் சகோதரன் மகிஷாசுரனின் அழிவுக்கு தேவர்களே காரணம் என கருதி அவர்களை பழிவாங்கவும் முடிவு செய்தாள். அதற்கான சக்தியை பெற மகிஷி பிரம்மாவை நோக்கி தவம் புரிந்தாள். பிரம்மா, மகிஷி முன் தோன்றி, வேண்டும் வரம் கேள் என்றார். சிவபெருமானுக்கும், விஷ்ணுவுக்கும், பிறந்த புத்திரனால் மட்டுமே தனக்கு மரணம் நேரவேண்டும் என்ற வரத்தை மகிஷி கேட்டாள். மகிஷி கேட்ட வரம் கிடைத்தது. வரம் பெற்ற மகிஷி தேவலோகத்தையும், பூலோகத்தையும் ஆட்டிப்படைத்துகொண்டிருந்தாள்.
தேவர்கள் தங்களது துயரம் தாங்காமல் சிவபெருமானிடம் முறையிட்டனர்.
சிவபெருமான் மற்றும் விஷ்ணுவின் அம்சமான மோகினி மூலம் சைவ வைஷ்ணவ ஜோதியாக ஐயப்பன் அவதரித்தார். பம்பாதீரத்தில் ஒரு குழந்தையாய் ஐயன் அழும் பொழுது பந்தளத்து அரசன் ராஜசேகரன், குழந்தை இல்லாத தனக்கு பகவானே அளித்ததாக எண்ணி அந்தக் குழந்தையை பந்தளம் கொண்டு வந்து ராணியிடம் கொடுத்து மகிழ்வித்தார். கழுத்தில் மணி இருந்தால் மணிகண்டன் என்றும் ஐயப்பன் என்றும் பெயர் சூட்டினார். பகவான் வருகையால் ராணிக்கு ஒரு குழந்தை பிறந்தது. அக்குழந்தைக்கு ராஜராஜன் என்று பெயர் சூட்டினர். மணிகண்டனின் வருகையால் தான் தனக்கு எல்லா நலன்களும் ஏற்படுகிறது என்பதை புரிந்து கொண்ட ராஜசேகரன், மணிகண்டனுக்கு பட்டாபிஷேகம் செய்வதற்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்தார். இதை விரும்பாத மந்திரி, மணிகண்டனையே
அழிக்கப்பார்க்கிறான். ஆனால் ஒன்றும் பலிக்கவில்லை. பின் தனது சூழ்ச்சியால் புலிப்பால், கொண்டு வந்தால்தான் மகாராணிக்கு வந்துள்ள நோய் போகுமென்று அரண்மனை வைத்தியர்களைக் கொண்டுச் சொல்லச் செய்கிறான்.
மணிகண்டன் புலிப்பால் கொண்டு வர காட்டுக்குச் செல்கிறான். ஐயனின் வரவிற்காகக் காத்திருந்த தேவர்கள் பகவானை பொன்னம்பல மேட்டில் பூஜை செய்து மகிஷியினால்படும் துயரத்தைக் கூறினர். மணிகண்டன் மகிஷியை வென்று அவளது உடலை வீசிஎறிய, மகிஷியின் உடல் அழுதா நதிக்கரையில் விழுந்தது. ஐயன் அவள்மேல் நர்த்தனமாடி, மகிஷியை உயிரிழக்க செய்தார். மகிஷியின் கொடுமை நீங்கியதால் சந்தோஷமடைந்த தேவர்கள் புலியாகளாக மாறி ஐயனின் பணிகளை நிறைவேற்ற பந்தளம் சென்றனர். ஐயப்பனின் சக்தியும், பெருமையும் உணர்ந்து மந்திரியும், ராணியும் மணிகண்டனிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்டனர். மணிகண்டனும், மன்னிப்பதற்கு எதுவுமில்லை. எல்லாம் கடவுளின் லீலைகள்படி நடந்துள்ளன என்றார். இராஜசேகரனின் விருப்பபடி மணிகண்டன் ஒரு அம்பை எடுத்து எய்து, இந்த அம்பு எங்கு போய் விழுகிறதோ அங்கு கோயில் எழுப்புங்கள் என்றான். அந்த அம்பு சபரிமலையில் விழுந்தது. அங்கே ஐயப்பனுக்கனுக்கான ஆலயம் இராஜா இராஜசேகரனால் நிர்மாணிக்கப்பட்டது.
