This is from way back - 2007! It's the lead single from their first EP and it's a fully GD written and composed song. It remains possibly my all-time fave track, like it's so damn good.
After reading various music journals of the time, this song seems to have been the turning point for music in Korea from that time. I read that until this song, most of the popular charts were filled with mid-tempo ballads. Not saying other different stuff wasnt out there, just that the style of this song really connected with the Korean public on a bigger scale.
I think he was 18 or younger when.he wrote it for his supposed solo album but yang hyun suk dont approve it but make it as Bigbang's song which is the start of there success..
Without the song, we might not like Kpop now. Considering how many ordinary people have turned into fans, how many fans have turned into artists, and how many artists have turned into idols, BIGBANG is arguably the BIGGEST BANG in Kpop, at least 👑🫰🌼
