Honestly this is one of the saddest Kpop MVs for me. Haru Haru roughly translates to "Day by Day"
To my understanding the story is: G-Dragon catches his friend TOP with his girlfriend (the girl in the MV). So he's angry over his friends betrayal and his girlfriend cheating on him. Turns out in the end, the girl was ill and has to undergo a risky procedure where she knew she might not survive. So in order to protect G-Dragon from the pain of seeing her die, she decided to make him angry and break up with her before he found out she was dying. So she set up the entire situation with TOP's help all in order to protect G-Dragon from heartbreak. In the end, he finds out but it was too late, she was already gone.
Well shit... Yep, that sounds about right lol. In case you didn't quite figure it out: Park Min Young was G-Dragon's girlfriend, but she knew she had cancer and might die, so she pretended to cheat on GD with TOP. That way GD wouldn't be so badly hurt if she died. The others all knew and were keeping it from GD until Taeyang rang him from the hospital. When TOP gave the ring back to GD, he said something along the lines of 'Min Young really loved you. I'm sorry for lying' . This song made me an instant Bigbang fan and it was only the second Kpop song I'd ever heard.

OMGGG why are giving me so many feels with this reaction? This song along with “Lies” was Big Bang’s breakout year and they literally took the world by storm after this year. Big Bang had that journey of their rookie/sophomore year blues where they were known, but didn’t blow up just yet. Then on their 3rd comeback with “Haru Haru” and then “Lies”, they were literally EVERYWHERE!! SKorea as well as some international fans fell into with them and their music. Well deserved to tbh!! It’s INSANE!!! That’s why “Haru Haru” will always be a special song to VIPs.

I put this on your last Bigbang video a couple days ago, but decided to comment it here as well since this is more recent, and it's more likely you'll see it.
Here is the list of all their mvs in order according to wikipedia. If it is off, I apologize. There were conflicting results with what came first. And I wasn't a V.I.P. at their beginning. There are some Japanese ones, but others have reacted to them just fine. So with how you pause, I think you'll be ok. I will however, try to make a note of which are Japanese.

~We Belong Together-This one is a special case as all the members are present, but only G-Dragon and T.O.P. sing. The girl who sings is Bom from 2NE1. And there is an introduction of the members at the end where it plays a snippet of the song V.I.P.(Which also happens to be the fandom name.)
~A Fool of Tears-While T.O.P. begins this one, it mostly showcases the other three members. It starts with Taeyang, Daesung, and then Seungri, with G-Dragon and T.O.P. joining them again at the bridge.

This song means so much to me. It was my exposure to kpop 12 years ago, and it made me cry. I was so shocked that I cried listening to a song I didn't understand the lyrics of, and became fascinated with the group. I've been a VIP for 12 years and will always be one.
In a nutshell, GD and the girl were a couple but the girl had cancer. She asked TOP to help her to push GD away so he couldn't get hurt from her condition and TOP acted like the bad guy despite being GD's friend. When she was dying, the other friends told GD what was going on because they didn't want it to end like that; and TOP stops GD in the hall to give him back the ring saying, "I'm sorry I lied. She actually loved you."
You should react to Haru Haru live performance. Both performances are brilliant
Haru Haru means 'Day by Day'
for anyone's whose still confused, GD and TOP and the rest of the BB members are close friends. The actress was GD's girlfriend but she pretends to cheat on him with TOP because she was diagnosed with cancer, hence her hair falling out (chemotherapy). She wants GD to hate her for betraying him and therefore make it easier on him when she dies but it's actually destroying him so much that the OTHER BB members hurt watching him. Seungri tries to let him know but Daesung stops him. They're all at the hospital for the final operation and Taeyang informs GD about the surgery. He runs to her. When he gets there, he still doesn't know the real reason behind why TOP and his gf were "together". That's when TOP stops him and reveals the truth. This breaks GD's heart. When they roll her out of the operating theatre, it's too late because she didn't survive the surgery. And that's the plot of one of k-pop's saddest MV

Ben, it is mainly about two lovers who are GD and that girl who you saw were in love to the point they were engaged. But the girl did not want to tell GD that she had cancer. So she had to use his friend who is TOP , the tall one. To not let GD know she had cancer and not let him feel pain about it. At the end taeyang told him the truth about what was going on. TOP then gives back the ring to GD from her. And then you saw memories of GD and the girl. At the end she dies because her surgery was not successful due to her cancer she had.
kpop now a days didn't do this kind of mv. we miss this and we miss BIGBANG
