I agree. Since there's no such thing as "the best car" as an objective idea, it's a matter of personal preference and opinion. But Italian car makers are definitely among the top 5 brands in the World. We have Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Fiat, Pagani, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lancia and a few more. We make the vast majority of cool looking and fast cars around and that's a fact. But as I said, none of them is perfect. Other Countries that make amazing cars are Germany and England. The latter doesn't have many brands but their cars are among the most refined cars ever. Brands like Jaguar, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, McLaren and Aston Martin are just undying. My personal favorite car maker is AM, and I'm Italian! :P
To Hammonds credit: Lamborghini only has 2 factories and both of them are located in Italy, at Lamborghinis headquarters in Bologna. Lamborghini builds their engines on their own. When Audi bought Lamborghini in 1998, they supplied Lamborghini with a 4.2L V8 engine for their upcoming car, which at the time was the Gallardo, the successor of the Diablo. Lamborghini asked Audi for a supply of that particular engine, but Audi realized it was much more cheaper and convenient in buying them. When Lamborghini received this engine, they modified it as they wished and it was this particular modified engine that was used in the R8. Besides the 4.2L and recently the 4L twin turbo from the Urus, ALL the other engines from Lamborghini were and are manufactured by Lamborghini.
