Fun fact! Two German words for nightmares are "Alptraum" ("elf-dream") and "Alpdruck/Alpdrücke," ("elf pressure"), which reference the belief that elves caused many bizarre phenomena including bedhead, sleep paralysis, and bad dreams. Matt Rose is merely rediscovering old knowledge.
One time, I woke up in a cold sweat at 3 AM and texted my entire family with an idea for a movie. It was going to be a horror comedy musical called “The Hills Are Alive,” and it was going to be about a bunch of college kids going on vacation in the mountains, only to discover that the mountain itself is sentient and trying to kill them.
As a kid, my dad once trained himself to wake up from a dream to write notes, because he kept getting genius ideas in his sleep that he would promptly forget in the morning. But when he finally managed to write one down, it just said - “the banana peel is bigger than the banana”. He gave up after that.
I had a dream once a fair few years back, and I could have sworn it was a groundbreaking approach to looking at bird evolution, drawing upon the ground-up, top-down, and ontogenetic approaches to understanding the advent of flight to create an entirely new theory that was both familiar, yet distinct. I ended up writing a load of garbled, misplaced letters that made no sense and then lost the file entirely.
Best thing that happened in my dream is solving a math problem I couldn't solve while conscious. Our teacher gave us these really hard problems for practice. I spent a month trying to solve one of them, but kept on failing, until I dreamt of having an exam with that exact same question and I passed it. Woke up and just recalled numbers from the dream, turns out I got a correct solution
@@ehannasir8464 I honestly said to myself “Who does he think he is, Dr. Jekyll??!!” When he did that. …For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, I happen to be really into 1800s/Victorian era/gothic literature, and one of my favorites to reference is the gothic horror novella “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. It’s about a lawyer named Utterson, who investigates on a mystery involving one of his friends and clients, Dr. Henry Jekyll, along with Jekyll’s mysterious connection with the sinister Edward Hyde. If you want more detail on this, I recommend you read a digital copy on Google books (it’ll come up first thing when you search the book title on Google); for those who DON’T like to read, you can always go watch the summary of the book by the TH-cam channel Overly Sarcastic Productions. Just search “OSP Jekyll and Hyde” and (I’m sure) it’ll come up first thing.
One time I woke up in the morning laughing hysterically because the last sentence I heard in my sleep was "For Sale: Poison shoes - worn once" and it's immediately become my favorite fever dream. My brother even made an ad out of it to post in the supermarket on the cork board at the front.
@@Matt_Rose I had a really vivid dream this morning: In the dream I went to India, in search of a wife, in a rural area with a good amount of water and plants. then in said dream I found one. “I’ve never seen a ghost so does that mean I’ve managed to fuck up all on my own with no greater cosmic being holding me back” is actually a terrifying thought

I had just seen the Wonka movie a couple of days ago and all the songs were stuck in my head. I woke up at around 1 am to write this: "Well there's chocolate, and there's chocolate, If we were on a boat I'd throw you off of it." I don't know why I was being so aggressive either.

At 2-3 AM sometimes last year, I had an idea for a horror game called Who's That Vocaloid. It starts out as an online quiz where you guess the names of Vocaloids, and it progressively gets harder the more you play. Suddenly, an unreleased Vocaloid gets thrown into the mix (in the thought, it was Suzune Ring). When it resumes as usual, you start to get a mix of classic UTAUloids, fanloids, more unreleased ones, photos that are distorted or low-resolution... Then, you're met with a mix of school subjects. Questions about art, philosophy, math, nature, science, music and composers, history, and more are all following each other. After that, it turns into a narrative story where you're in your room in the middle of the night, and you decide to explore the house and contemplate your life, and how you got to the point where you are now. There's a conclusion about how you can't stop the flow of time, and how everything that's ever happened in your life has lead to where you are now, and then the quiz ends. The idea of having no control over where the supposedly consistently-themed quiz is going kept me up for hours
One morning I woke up, in a state almost indistinguishable from that I was just in. As I lay there, indifferent to life for a precious moment, I came to what felt like a profound realization, and scrambled to write it down in the notes app. I wrote "I keep telling people to stop calling me Batman."
Can confirm that 5-6AM is the nightmarish hour. I once woke up around that time and wanted to remember the nightmare I had just had. So, before passing out once more, I wrote attempting to make it somewhat poetic in my notes app: "The shadow came" "He is there" "He watches" "Run" When I first read it after waking up again I was terrified for my life, but then I remembered what happened lmao-
That’s a pretty lucky nightmarish hour, since you could just probably wake up afterwards. Personally, my worst nightmares happen in the direct middle of sleeping, so I’d have to go back to sleep, hard as it is
This reminded me of a quote I heard in a dream: "One day soon, you'll all be ashes in the wind. I'll see to it myself." -Louise the cat I have no idea what that means

i went on vacation a few months ago. i fell asleep while sunbathing on the beach and i woke myself up snort laughing three times in a row. the dream was of me being jewish(i am not jewish) and there was this guy sitting next to me at a bar (i am 17, never been anywhere’s near a bar) singing very weakly and horribly with a spotlight on him and everyone started crying. me and this random girl were laughing hysterically and she leaned over and whispered ‘it’s funny because we’re jewish’. i guess that was funny.
I haven’t had much for dreams in a long time, just remember bits and pieces. This is the kind of dream I miss, the most random crap that just makes you laugh cause you’ll never forget and never stop laughing at the randomness.
Well if you guys have not had dreams like these in ages you can just search for why. What I do know is that dreams are like putting thoughts, inner thoughts, experiences and memories in a blender. Ive noticed that I have dreams when my days are less monotone, or I am more motivated in general, maybe is that Anyways, we are supposed to get 3 dreams in a full sleep and are only able to barely remember the last one, so if you dont remember dreams for a long period of time, you probably arent sleeping good enough, at a good hour, not long enough, etc

I once woke up from a dream in which I fell in love with the most kind and sweetest boy I've ever met. I so vividly remembered reading his name in the dream and thinking how cool it sounded so, of course, I immediately had to write it down... only to realize that his name was "Empty Basement" (translated into eng.) and I felt quite stupid after that realization.
I remember I dream where I was browsing Discord servers and I saw someone named Occult Elite with a server nickname Chocolate Elite There was also someone with a name that went something like "it's name is in the band name" (probably wildly misremembered as it was a long time ago). Their pfp was just a steering wheel. When I googled the username the results came up with a youtube video of the same title. It was a short one, only like 30 seconds, and was just a drone shot of someone driving along in a truck. The drone zoomed in on the driver's cabin, then the driver looked up at the drone and mouthed the title of the video.

Sometimes I'll have a totally original new song come to me in my sleep, but because I'm not a musician and haven't retained any knowledge of how to write down music from the classes I took way back in grade school, all that creativity from deep within my subconscious goes to waste.
GIMME THE SONGS!!! IM A MUSICIAN AND I CAN SING I PLAY THE PIANO TOO!! SO GIMME THEM AND I WILL WRITE MUSIC AND DO CONCERTS FOR IT! Obviously i willl credit u but pl I need this
I haven’t really STUDIED music per say, but I do have a hobby in songwriting/lyricism that I started several years ago as a way to basically vent my emotions, in particular the what-I-call “dark emotions”. They mainly consist of anger, sadness, despair, that-one-emo-emotion-I-never-learned-the-name-of, and fear, and they are very powerful emotions. Sometimes, when my brain gets really active at night and I find it hard to sleep, and I think about songwriting, sometimes I serendipitously come up with really good or really catchy ditties. One of them, I was making inspired by an anime series. Most recently, I started writing lyrics to songs inspired by/based on pieces of classic literature, mythology, folklore, etc. .
I am constantly amazed with how lively Matt can make something as boring as reading other people's sayings on the internet. Got a few friends hooked on Matt as a result ✨
One night I woke up at 2 in the morning and wrote down “don’t forget to establish blood safety in the dream society” in my notes before going back to sleep. I still don’t remember what the original context was
Just to help you remember, it could be: -eugenetics -pure blood issues (like in Slytherin) -blood bank, with organized donors for every blood type -blood bank, synthetic blood -blood bank for a vampire dream society -a plan to wipe all blood related illnesses Still, it sounds like a vampire elite dream society.
This happens to me a lot. I tend to write things that seem important when I get in bed and then I woke up the next day having no idea what it means. The highlights for me were "taste cadavers" and "holy fucking shit I just gave my baby crack" to this day I can't decifer what was so urgent about these thoughts.
second one sounds like the plot to a movie where the protagonist accidentally creates a drug ring for babies and sells drugs while sleepwalking every night
This channel has become my special interest for some reason and I haven’t watched any other channel for 4 days now. Occasionally when reading things, I’ll read it in my head in Matt Rose’s voice ??

This wasn't at an unholy hour in the morning, but one time I woke up from a nap at like 7 pm and my very first thought was "What if dreams are just AI-generated stories in our minds?"
You're not actually too far off. While not Artificially Intelligently generated, dreams often consist of faces, structures, feelings, and ideas you've had in the past. This is why you may see strangers in your dreams; they are just re-imagined strangers you've seen in real life, or online. Dreams are also a way for us to process our days, so somedays if you spend a lot of time on one thing, you are more likely to dream about it. For example, I admit I play League of Legends every now and again, and sometimes I'll have a dream where I'm literally just playing League of Legends and that's it. It's actually pretty hilarious imo, lol. If there's something you want to try that'll freak you out, you know how AI images often fail to generate hands correctly? Dreams do the same thing, but notably with the sky. Next time you have a dream, try to remember what the sky looked like. In dreams, the sky is often a black void, or it is some weird painterly sky. This is assumed to be caused by the fact that we cannot properly judge the scale of the sky, because of how vastly large it is. We know the sky is blue, but it's hard to perceive its depth because it is just so big, so our dreams compensate by leaving it out entirely sometimes (or, again, the lazy painterly skies). Congrats on the post-nap thought. You may have actually exhibited some excellent critical thinking. That's not sarcastic either, it's a good skill to have and more people should have it.
You should do a video about stories of people thinking words meant something else than their actual meaning. I'll start: When i was in elementary school, i thought "passed away" meant "moved away," and i had two good friends who had moved away. I had told everyone that they "passed away" and when someone finally asked why they died i was flabbergasted as to why they would think those two died, so i said "oh, no no no. They just passed away to another school."
Reading the Bible a lot as any Christian kid would, I often thought to "fear" someone was the same as to love. Oh, people feared God? They just really loved him. Wasn't til I was like 19 when I realised how messed up that was
German word for "seed" is "Samen" So when talkinga bout plants in a discord channel I wanted to say something about seeds and uh...let's just say the word I used oh so naively was quite a lot closer to "Samen" than the actual word...
I thought horny meant angry and one day my parents made me really mad (I was like 7) and I shouted at the top of my lungs "YOU'RE MAKING ME REALLY HORNY!!" and my parents couldn't even be mad at me anymore, they just burst out laughing and I just remember feeling like "tf? I'm THIS mad and they think it's FUNNY!?" That moment is forever etched into my brain as one of the embarrassing moments my mind feels the need to replay to me every time I want to sleep. Looking back, honestly I think 7 year old me had a point. Horns are spikey and usually used for fighting, plus the devil has horns - it makes way more sense to mean angry than to mean aroused.
Week ago I woke from nightmare, stood up and wrote something on paper, so I won’t forget it. When I read this at morning, it said: *She left Bob for Diacon…* *Make Bob, so a Diacon could explode* This was written in dramatic tone. “She” was some random girl, I do remember that, while Bob was a black guy and Diacon was a fat cat at wheelchair. When she tried to leave Bob, Bob suddenly sat on Diacon’s knees, which caused a literal explosion. This happened in a park. By the way, I think Diacon was saying something at WingDings and his eyes was glowing red in the darkness. I do not remember the context, only thing I knew is that this sleep was so sad for me, that I literally woke up from sobbing and crying. _Still better love story than Twilight._
i once woke up at around 2am and my half asleep brain wrote a poem: roses are red it was all an ambush i hope you’re ready because i have a sandwich this is better than anything i ever wrote for english class
My note I wrote down in a half-awake panic like it was the most important thing in the world: “Sorry I’m possessed by manmade horrors beyond ur comprehension I guess??? Like girl I know ur allergic but I can’t control it 🙄” This was some time just past 5 am. Then proceeded (still half-awake) to take a screenshot and draw a few characters around it I thought fit it well. No memory of it happening at all, but tbh- god tier shitpost that I get the feeling would fit right in on Tumblr
You absolutely MUST do “Craziest Misheard Sentences” for your next video. I have one: I was watching a documentary when the guy being interviewed said “I’m 82 years old” and I heard “I’m maybe 2 years old” and I was like “What?”
Hey Matt, here's a tip so you might not have to snort pepper. Try taking a paper towel, kleenix, some kind of disposable tissue, rip off a small corner piece, take one of the now newly even sharper corners, hold that in your fingertips and then take the original corner and tightly roll the whole thing into a tube. The end result should be a narrow wrap of tissue paper with both ends being a very narrow point. Then stick that into your nostril and rapidly shift and move it around. Most of the time this should irritate your nose enough to induce a sneeze. If it doesn't, you still have the other end to try it with. I've been doing this since high school to escape the nightmarish experience of having a stuck sneeze that doesn't want to come out. I find it has about an 80% success rate.
When I was in middle school I used to go sleep walking, and talking, a lot. The thing I was told by my mum that still sticks with me and haunts my thoughts with what was going on inside my brain is when I once came walking into the living room where my mum was watching TV late at night and told her that; "It's not a Princess, it's a lemon..." before turning around and going back to bed!
This happened to me a few months ago. Found my computer open with a new google doc and all that was written down was “Two sentence horror story” “Berries and cream, berries and cream, I’m a little boy that loves berries and cream.” “Little did he know that berries and cream was the new street drug.” I don’t even remember what my dream was that prompted me to need to climb out of bed and write that down.
Don't know if this counts, but I could hear my family watching the Monty Python Spam Viking sketch when I was still half awake one morning and, seeing as I'd just had a stressful dream in which I released my pet hamster into the wild, the word "Spamster" popped into my head fully-formed. I yelled it and heard the voices in the next room stop for a second to process, and then a lot of very animated talking at the same time. Spam has been with us since 2021 and is still going strong, what a lovely friendly soft idiot ❤
I woke up from a dream where there was the end of a song playing. It sounded like a 2000s MCR song in the same key as I'm Not Okay (I Promise). Wrote it down, figured out what notes the melody used later and figured out the guitar part. I will be using it in a song I'm writing because I love it so much.
I still have a note where I had apparently dreamed of Duality by Slipknot but sung to the tune of a pop song, but then when I woke up I couldn't make the lyrics fit and was so disappointed XD
I had an MCR dream last year while I was camping… wrote this at 5 am: had a dream thant ray gerard and lindsey wereat franks house which was in canada. they were taking another all sorts of stuff. went to the bathroom and there was a baby bird but it got put down the sink and basically dissolved? and then i was eas so sad that i went and gave ray a hug. he gives nice hugs. and then they were talking about maid costumes. ray had brought his. and then they all had halloween costumes z franks was a sci fi witch? he had spiky blue hair. gerard was a plague doctor but their face was just. a blank black sheet with a pentagram. and also they were wearing lots of wizard robes. ray was wearing a very beautiful witch costume i think, and i think mikey was some sort of ice wizard. also i must note because it was central to the dream that ray was very very beautiful. just like. it was ray, just like ray looks, but he was so pretty. just thought you should know

@@noodlesnook See, unfortunately my dreams aren't very music worthy. If I wrote songs inspired by my dreams, it would end up sounding like I was in a padded room somewhere. That moment when you have the biggest idea ever and write something down to remember it for tomorrow but keep it short/write 1-3 words because you think you’ll remember the rest when reading those words but then you come back the next day and you’re left with just those words and all the context is gone

A friend and I used to have a list of ideas that we called 'Things we came up with at 3AM'; Stuff our over-tired brains would think of after a long, exhausting day. A lot of that list was made up of questionable poetry, insightful idiocy, and Sans jokes. I wish I kept it; I had a pretty good limerick there that I once wrote...

EATEOT still fills me with an overwhelming sense of dread and despair every time i hear even the tiniest clip of it in any context. like even the name scares the hell out of me and makes me feel like there’s something indescribably horrifying standing behind me a la The Mandela Catalogue (which i can’t watch because, despite my love of all things horror, i have an _intense_ fear of that which is /almost/ human - like, that shit terrifies me to an abnormally extreme extent. but i’m not talking about those humanoid robots that fall into the uncanny valley or wtv; i’m talking about honest-to-god mimic-doppelgänger-cryptid-eldritch abominations with horrible distorted voices and impossible features) edit: it’s 4am and just thinking about this is now preventing me from moving from a hidden spot tucked away on the floor beside my bed, let alone opening the door and going downstairs to the dark kitchen to get a snack 🫠
vid idea: ask people to note down their odd dreams when they wake up because some people have really weird ones. one of my friends has them all the time and he noted one down and it was something's like “the red pens dancing to the ceiling pearl, don’t touch the red tiles, back to the spinning pyramid room” i don’t what he was on about until i had a dream just as weird.
I've found that this kind of dream nonsense can be a great source of inspiration if you're into writing. Happened to me several times that some nonsense word or weird concept appeared in a dream and I found a use for it in my fictional world. Always write that stuff down. You might have just found gold without even looking for it.
I love writing horror short stories and every time I wake up from a nap or in the morning I immediately write a story idea I plan to write about this is one of them….. Lmaooo nice, woke up today and all I remember is a hotel kinda like The Shining except there were *meat tickets.* like those arcade tickets, made of meat, coming from a random slot in a wall.
Aw, I missed this! Once I woke up from a dream and wrote down "Condemned to an eternity of CHEESE", thinking it would be THE next meme (this was back when memes were phenomena that stuck around)
This reminds me of a former friend who wrote an entire poem this way. I still have the picture she sent me of what she wrote, and ... honestly, it didn't make much sense but it sounded cool. Something about the portal of sleep, the vanguard of rest, and the VORTEX OF TIME. She also always had weird, super-vivid dreams and freaky sleep paralysis kind of stuff. And for reasons I won't get into, I'm pretty sure she was some sort of low-level psychic, so her sleep-writing a poem honestly wasn't too surprising.
(8:00) There's "squircle", an half between a circle and a square. Commonly used by app icons. A circle and a rectangle would may be better as "circtangle" or "rectircle" (not "reticle", but "rek-turk-l")

As a kid, my dad once trained himself to wake up from a dream to write notes, because he kept getting genius ideas in his sleep that he would promptly forget in the morning. But when he finally managed to write one down, it just said - “the banana peel is bigger than the banana”. He gave up after that.
He’s not wrong though
I did something like that a few times as well, but what I wrote were some solid short story ideas, so maybe he shouldn't give up?
I had a dream once a fair few years back, and I could have sworn it was a groundbreaking approach to looking at bird evolution, drawing upon the ground-up, top-down, and ontogenetic approaches to understanding the advent of flight to create an entirely new theory that was both familiar, yet distinct. I ended up writing a load of garbled, misplaced letters that made no sense and then lost the file entirely.

That's actually really cool
i'd love to play that if it was a thing

One morning I woke up, in a state almost indistinguishable from that I was just in. As I lay there, indifferent to life for a precious moment, I came to what felt like a profound realization, and scrambled to write it down in the notes app.
I wrote "I keep telling people to stop calling me Batman."
Can confirm that 5-6AM is the nightmarish hour.
I once woke up around that time and wanted to remember the nightmare I had just had.
So, before passing out once more, I wrote attempting to make it somewhat poetic in my notes app:
"The shadow came"
"He is there"
"He watches"
"Run"
When I first read it after waking up again I was terrified for my life, but then I remembered what happened lmao-

Most recently, I started writing lyrics to songs inspired by/based on pieces of classic literature, mythology, folklore, etc. .

This wasn't at an unholy hour in the morning, but one time I woke up from a nap at like 7 pm and my very first thought was "What if dreams are just AI-generated stories in our minds?"
The lack of sense would make sense then
I mean, they’re definitely generated by a neural network.
It’s something like that. Same with reality. Once you start to wake up you can actually start to change stuff and be more of a programmer if you will
it ain't AI, its human intelligence now lmao
You should do a video about stories of people thinking words meant something else than their actual meaning.
So I'm not the only one lol

“Little did he know that berries and cream was the new street drug.” I don’t even remember what my dream was that prompted me to need to climb out of bed and write that down.
My friend once woke up with these words written on her hand:
"Replace 'your mom' jokes with 'your first wife.'"
Woke up in a hospital bed one morning with a “Kick Me” note taped to my back and an alarm going off, titled: “Remove ‘Kick Me’ Poster”
what the hell happened here lmao

Why is this in my notifications? I didn't reply?

Don't know if this counts, but I could hear my family watching the Monty Python Spam Viking sketch when I was still half awake one morning and, seeing as I'd just had a stressful dream in which I released my pet hamster into the wild, the word "Spamster" popped into my head fully-formed. I yelled it and heard the voices in the next room stop for a second to process, and then a lot of very animated talking at the same time.
Spam has been with us since 2021 and is still going strong, what a lovely friendly soft idiot ❤
5:05 This one made me burst out laughing!! XD

I had an MCR dream last year while I was camping… wrote this at 5 am:
had a dream thant ray gerard and lindsey wereat franks house which was in canada. they were taking another all sorts of stuff. went to the bathroom and there was a baby bird but it got put down the sink and basically dissolved? and then i was eas so sad that i went and gave ray a hug. he gives nice hugs. and then they were talking about maid costumes. ray had brought his. and then they all had halloween costumes z
franks was a sci fi witch? he had spiky blue hair. gerard was a plague doctor but their face was just. a blank black sheet with a pentagram. and also they were wearing lots of wizard robes. ray was wearing a very beautiful witch costume i think, and i think mikey was some sort of ice wizard.
also i must note because it was central to the dream that ray was very very beautiful. just like. it was ray, just like ray looks, but he was so pretty. just thought you should know
i get song ideas from dreams all the time, it’s great
also! an artist i really like also wrote songs based on stuff he heard in his dreams! iarla ó líonaird, on his album foxlight!
@@waffles3931 Aside from the sad fact that a baby bird dissolved and yes, Ray is indeed very pretty, Gerard's costume sounds so damn cool. I would absolutely love to see them wear something like that, it'd go pretty well next to their cheerleader dress lol.
@@noodlesnook See, unfortunately my dreams aren't very music worthy. If I wrote songs inspired by my dreams, it would end up sounding like I was in a padded room somewhere. A song based on a deer with glowing eyes just standing by the road as a car goes by, not even acknowledging the car's existence, is not song material. This isn't even the only nightmare I've had about deer.
10:34 im crying rn this is the exact noise i heard 3 years ago when i was in the car and a fly whizzing around flew into the window right next to my head then landed in my hair 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

he sounds so *annoyed*
I woke up and wrote a band/song name that came to me in a dream. It was “One Song, One Dance, Eat Ass, Shit Pants.” I laughed about it for a good while, and it still manages to make me giggle when I think about it.

I’ve been having a lot of weird nightmares about wasps and every time without fail I’ve woken up and written “no wasps its okay” in my notes
no wasps, it's okay
Thank you for the notes of reassurance, I fear wasps
i could not have imagined a better clown horn noise coming from a human 12:26
Obviously I can't prove it, since this is just a comment, but I can do one just as good, if not better. Me and my friends have been calling ourselves the circus and calling each other clowns for years. We even reply to someone doing something stupid with "honk honk". Needless to say, I've had time to practice my eh-EE
Today when I woke up I immediately thought “I listen to future but I’m stuck in the past” and genuinely thought that was the hardest bar of all time 💀💀

9:33 bro predicted they not like us
i remember making a very last minute party poison cosplay for school. at 3:33 am, i wrote "the window of circadian low doesn't exist if you're just constantly high". i have no clue what the joke here is but my brain found it funny enough to appear in my notes.
1:41 that’s actually fire
I dunno bout that. Maybe as a joke it'd work well pff
the sudden hannibal nbc appearance REALLY took me out like my brain short circuited

I once woke up at some ungodly hour of the night, wrote “THE CLOWNS ARE LAUGHING AT ME” and went back to sleep. I’m mildly concerned
the amount of times I've woken up in a cold sweat and been like "HOLY SHIT" and then i don't even know why is actually worrying
The other day I randomly woke up apparently in the middle of mentally performing Cave Johnson's 'combustible lemons' monologue from Portal 2. No idea why. Made my day, honestly
That moment when you have the biggest idea ever and write something down to remember it for tomorrow but keep it short/write 1-3 words because you think you’ll remember the rest when reading those words but then you come back the next day and you’re left with just those words and all the context is gone
Sometimes I have thoughts like this myself. One in my notes that I found is "Crazy how some mittens protect you from hot and other mittens protect you from cold" [Referring to oven mittens and snow mittens respectively]
Also got a few ideas for my Ed Edd n' Eddy AU fanwork series I'm currently making written down in there.
I still love the "poetry" I wrote 1 line at a time with my friend in school. I remember a particularly beautiful one that went soemthing like:
Plsove is an egg.
His brother is Psiveil.
What?
No legs.
We got pretty bored in English I guess 😂
@@emmahealy4863 Bored in English class, or bored of using English? 'Cause most of that was completely incomprehensible.
I woke up at around 4am out of sleep paralysis and wrote down my entire dream from start to finish in explicit detail, it could probably win an award for imagery

MIBU is still relevant?!1
EATEOT still fills me with an overwhelming sense of dread and despair every time i hear even the tiniest clip of it in any context. like even the name scares the hell out of me and makes me feel like there’s something indescribably horrifying standing behind me a la The Mandela Catalogue (which i can’t watch because, despite my love of all things horror, i have an _intense_ fear of that which is /almost/ human - like, that shit terrifies me to an abnormally extreme extent. but i’m not talking about those humanoid robots that fall into the uncanny valley or wtv; i’m talking about honest-to-god mimic-doppelgänger-cryptid-eldritch abominations with horrible distorted voices and impossible features)
edit: it’s 4am and just thinking about this is now preventing me from moving from a hidden spot tucked away on the floor beside my bed, let alone opening the door and going downstairs to the dark kitchen to get a snack 🫠
i spilled my tea 4 times watching this video now iam convinced that matt is a magic tea spilling wizard
vid idea: ask people to note down their odd dreams when they wake up because some people have really weird ones. one of my friends has them all the time and he noted one down and it was something's like “the red pens dancing to the ceiling pearl, don’t touch the red tiles, back to the spinning pyramid room” i don’t what he was on about until i had a dream just as weird.
I have a TON of weird dreams and I always txt my friend them immediately afterward so I don’t forget. They’re tired of it cus they’re so weird 😂
The Makeup Mirror
Before auditioning for a play Lyanna practices in the makeup mirror, but receives advice from an unusual visitor.
I had no idea where this came from
Lmaooo nice, woke up today and all I remember is a hotel kinda like The Shining except there were *meat tickets.* like those arcade tickets, made of meat, coming from a random slot in a wall.
