I have heard / It is said, that this clone wars version is more balanced than the original one. I haven't got the first one and i think i'm going to buy this version for that reason
I like this much more than star realms. But star realms has more content which is why i was hoping this new set would be an expansion. Instead they made a stand alone sequel. That's pretty lame. We need yoda and palpatine.
@grog3514 i didnt even notice i didn't see a yoda huh. But btw there's an entire mode you can play with the combined decks for this game, its very interesting i suggest you check it out. Definitely different than Star Realms, but not necessarily a bad thing.
@TravDadGamer not at all. If you've played the original Star Wara Deckbuilding, it also has a few retreval cards. The main point is you elimate the ability for them to buy it through traditional means, but the risk is that if they have neutral cards to grab from rhe galaxy discard, its actually easier for them to purchase. You just have to watch what they buy thats neutral tbh, but as you should be doing anyways.
Nice video. I enjoy the original SW game and was confused on separate exile stacks. I think in SW the Jawas let either player pull something out of exile, but I think in CW the Separtists are exiling potentially a lot of cards, so they don’t want the Republic to cherry pick from those (maybe?). I plan on getting CW as it looks different enough to own both. My only complaint of the SW game is, like you, I’ve only played the Empire as my wife only wants to play “the good guys.”
@Toadbabe thanks for commenting 😀 if i recall, Jawas didn't let you buy from exile, just galaxy discarded (I coukd be wrong). The Speratists actually allow you to buy and get free cards from THEIR exile pile. But yes they're different for sure, this is just slightly less first timer friendly.
I love the original game. Glad to hear that the designers went a little deeper with the faction designs in Clone Wars
@@halforange1 they definitely did, excited to think of possibilities for a sequel version!

@@EmeBadass idk about it being more BALANCED tbh, they're both pretty well balanced
It's basically Star Realms with SW reskin and few additional small mechanics
@@iphatbass idk about all that tbh
Yes and no.

Did I hear right that you can now sometimes buy from cards that were exiled through bounty elimination?
@@TravDadGamer yes! Cards that are hunted through bounties go to a galaxy discard pile that's easier to access with abilities.
@@gamingcaravan does that weaken some of the impact of bounty removal on your opponent's buy row cards?

@@gamingcaravan That makes sense. Thanks for going through the strategy
Thanks for the review i would just suggest time stamps and maybe show the game itself cause it can get a lil exhausting after a while
thanks for the feedback! definitely want to get more footage of games before I upload -- looks like I'll need to have them hit the table a lot more!

@Toadbabe but yeah what's up with that ? 😂😂
