@@MakeYourHeartBeat I'm very surprised with that, moonrakers has been an amazing game in our collection! But I can say it's almost unnecessarily expensive

@@gamingcaravan First of all, we ran out of contracts twice! Not enough cards to finish the game. I asked on IV discord and they replied that they created an expansion to fix this known issue. I wonder how much Moonrakers was playtested before releasing it or if they wanted to release it with this issue to sell the expansion later on. Secondly, the leading person can always be ignored and excluded from pretty much every contract. That happened a lot in our games. The player who did best gets punished by being ignored until others finally caught up. Played Moonrakers with 3 groups who all love boardgames and 2 groups love negotiation (especially in Space) and the feedback wasn't really great. I wanted to like this game, because it sounded great on paper, but i didn't.

yes 100%. The tokens are usually cardboard or a lot smaller, the paper feels like printer paper and is thin, and also a lot smaller.

@Toadbabe thanks for commenting 😀 if i recall, Jawas didn't let you buy from exile, just galaxy discarded (I coukd be wrong). The Speratists actually allow you to buy and get free cards from THEIR exile pile. But yes they're different for sure, this is just slightly less first timer friendly.

Mine too. The top fin was broken off. Luckily, is used some super glue and was able to situate my arms to hold the piece firmly for the 5 minutes it took to dry. It was a very thin piece of plastic holding the entire fin on, so I'm not surprised it broke.

@@TravDadGamer yes! Cards that are hunted through bounties go to a galaxy discard pile that's easier to access with abilities.

@TravDadGamer not at all. If you've played the original Star Wara Deckbuilding, it also has a few retreval cards. The main point is you elimate the ability for them to buy it through traditional means, but the risk is that if they have neutral cards to grab from rhe galaxy discard, its actually easier for them to purchase. You just have to watch what they buy thats neutral tbh, but as you should be doing anyways.

Yes and no.

I like this much more than star realms. But star realms has more content which is why i was hoping this new set would be an expansion. Instead they made a stand alone sequel. That's pretty lame. We need yoda and palpatine.

@grog3514 i didnt even notice i didn't see a yoda huh. But btw there's an entire mode you can play with the combined decks for this game, its very interesting i suggest you check it out. Definitely different than Star Realms, but not necessarily a bad thing.

@gregorys9629 that's good to know! See, the raider minis make it worth it with the player component holders. But tbh i don't care about a solo mode so that's good information to have. It must be easier to store by a lot tbh!

I have heard / It is said, that this clone wars version is more balanced than the original one. I haven't got the first one and i think i'm going to buy this version for that reason

I like that thematic translation a lot! It really is a massive shame, because it's far too common I see that fantasy games are good but sci-fi games are GREAT. War of the Ring ? Star Wars Deckbuilder is now better. Dwellings ? Meet Edge. Lords of Waterdeep? Dune Imperium is peak. I could go on, but I'm waiting for a fantastic fantasy game that can really rock my world and be uncontested. Until then, Andromeda's Edge may have my #1 spot. Also, thanks for watching! I believe there are some promo cards (e.g. the Flamecraft race) that's Kickstarter exclusive, but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'd check with the Andromeda's Edge FB group and ask! @@gamingcaravan we can help! First Exotic Matter is a retail version of 6 all in addons (so all in on the campaign has it). If you assemble the game via the 4 retail products (base game, escalation expansion, supernova upgrade kit, exotic matter promos) you will have a DELUXE + Meaning you will have the deluxe edition and 6 of the 13 all in items. So more than the deluxe, but there's a few more things that we'll have on our site at Cardboard Alchemy after fulfillment.

There is so many different things that are possible in AE that aren't in Dwellings. At the same time AE doesn't give the same feeling as fighting off the mother of Dragons with Ember spark, your faithful worker that receives Rise of a Hero! @@gamingcaravan It’s themed with the Underdark from D&D (so Drow, Spiders, evil stuff lol) and it uses deck building to execute area control.
