Yes RidgeRoller did invent a lot of Zucas products not just there carts and we got zero from Zuca. A lot of people don’t realize RidgeRoller carts can be 3 carts with one Roller. You buy the Roller you can mount the R3 box the R1 box or a backpack on that Roller. Yes the initial purchase could be over 600$ if you buy the R3 but the flexibility you have is priceless. Buying a Rouge your stuck with the same set up no changing it. Support Rogue you get the same China production blah blah!! support RidgeRoller you get a bad ass hand built guaranteed for life custom cart made for you right here in the good old USA! Rollout!!
You're buying a cart. This is a cart. I don't think many people set out to buy a cart with the intention of transforming it into other things. Also, Joe Robinson still has everything but the cart made in China. The bags, packs, pouches etc are all made in China.
I actually found this one when doing a lot of research and not wanting to pay the full price or a ridge roller. I do not regret my purchase. The thing is amazing and I even have the dividers wide enough for when I play my night round I can use the helix you recommended in the night round videos.
Oh... and the Bag Boy is better than all the other carts. Basically its just an accessory for your DG Bag. All the zuca and RR/RI "boxes" are HEAVY and hard to get in a vehicle trunk.
The Zuca compact cart by itself weighs the same as the Bag Boy by itself. I fit 2 compact carts in my trunk most weekends. Not dissing the Bag Boy or any other of these types of things, but not all of us want to have a cart for our bag. Most seem to want the all-in-one cart like Zuca, Ridge Roller, Rogue Iron. 🙂
It is a very similar build. Truthfully, I’ve yet to try a ridge roller. The advantage to the RR, is you can remove the box and actually slide in their backpack for even more versatility and their cart has a lot of customization when ordering. The advantage to these is it keeps your costs down.
I assume it's 4 weeks to be back in stock because they're on a boat from another country? I know RidgeRoller metal carts are manufactured here in the U.S. and in most cases, each one includes custom color powder coating. For those that don't know, the creator of Ridge Roller started out modifying Zuca carts that were made for ice skating. After Zuca realized there was money to be made in disc golf, they pushed him out. At that time he started manufacturing his own carts here in the U.S. To be clear, he did not create the first box cart, I believe that was the now defunct Delta. He took that idea and made it better...not just make an copy to then sell as his own. I'm not saying that Rogue shouldn't make a box cart, I'm saying that Rogue should put some thought into making their own (potentially better) version instead of stealing someone else's hard work and sending it overseas just to make it cheaper. I have zero respect for a company that operates that way.
@@jacobjones1774 they didn’t even try to make it “better” or have anything reasonably distinguishable between the two. I’m willing to bet the welds are terrible. Most Chinese robot welds are. Unfortunate, they could have done something cool or positive for the sport. Instead they stole the idea & are trying to make a quick buck at the expense of anyone but them
Very well said! If someone sends us something I’m going to review it in terms of the experience I have with it. I’m coming from a Zuca Transit and Zuca Compact cart. Both of which weren’t tall enough and didn’t offer the right amount of storage/seat height…etc. I am hoping to get my hands on a RR to compare the quality!
Damn. I feel for Joe (owner of ridge roller). He was the first to modify Zucas... then "partnered" with Zuca, shortly after they cut him out and took over the market. He then filled the void of Delta cart when they failed. Now Rogue Iron copy paste. Lame
This looks like the wish version of a ridge roller. But i guess if you can't come up with an original idea. You may as well make a cheaper less quality knock off of a successful design
Yes, RRs are beautiful but I cannot spend that much on a cart that I can’t even use across all courses here in Calgary. It is unfortunate. I am not saying the craftsmanship and quality are not the absolute best in the sport. They are and if you can afford to, I recommend supporting the original. I just think this price point makes the experience much more affordable. I was hoping to film a comparison video in the future.

Come on!! That’s awesome. 👍
Finally an option besides Ridge Roller. Nice additional features. I'm also 6'2" and my zuca handle always seems too short
6’4" can confirm zuca handle sucks as far as height my brother

How does the RI putter pouch attach to the cart?
Velcro
You forgot to rovic and bag boy
Great suggestions!
Love my rovic
How many disc will it hold?? Hello
Haha how did I not cover this?? 🤣 rogue iron says 23 with the cooler and 27 without.
Me buying squatch instead of pound lol
This is EXACTLY THAT!

Perfectly worded my friend
Amen, complete rip off and lazy design. Unreal

Never seen a zuca pole fail. Jussayin’
No, the wheels just fall off 😂
I have, but it did take a lot of abuse before it broke.
@@jacobjones1774User error lol Set screws aren’t for everybody
I want to buy one but they haven’t been in stock for a long time
They should be in stock in about 4 weeks according to Rogue Iron.

Quite literally a copy-paste of ridge roller.

These carts need to have the “bag” raised up. Id rather have a bag with a mojo riser.
That sounds like a transit cart!
Does anyone make a disc golf cart that also has a built-in cooler to store water + gatorade?? Lol's
I mean this thing looks like a freezer on wheels
👊🤣
@@localdiscgolf needs a really long extension cord Lol's
@StuG-pr9tf oh my gosh… should I mod mine with a short/loose extension cord trailing behind it?
@@localdiscgolf might have to install a built in generator? Lol's
The review of something that is out of stock lmao!!!
🤦🏻 that’s on me. I received the cart in Spring, when they had full-stock. They’re supposed to be back in stock soon (Rogue Iron tells me).
Back in stock
You’re not gonna show it full of discs? Lmao
Oh my gosh!!! How did I forget that??? 👊🤣
But it's the ridge roller.....
