B4 the vid started i thought it's gonna be interesting getting the engine back in, then the frame just slid over it & i laughed remembering the 2 of you trying to get it out.
But the big question is how much loctite will you go through when the assembly is finished : )

Haha yes your right, I already need to get another bottle of Loctite. Yes having the sump off made all the difference :p

I just started watching your builds. I am searching for cafe racer bike info and your videos are great. I noticed you cleaning parts in an ultrasonic cleaner. What solution mix do you use, I don’t want anything too harsh of a chemical. Thanks for any info you can share. Cheers

I love the build I got a 79 cb750k I'm building I need to find a cylinder for it. It was running when I got it but the timing chains wore through the guides and through the cylinder.

I see you used an ultrasonic cleaner. Do you consider the results from one worth the cost? Is it very effective? I am considering one for my garage.
You need to get a quality ultrasonic cleaner with heating I use a degreaser in mine but there are better chemicals for this.

I tried contacting the rear shock company you used and they told me they don’t make any reservoir shocks for the DOHC CB750. Do you know the part number for the shocks you’re using?
Ho Ivan, Unfortunately not as these were sent to me, I actually didn’t buy them. Maybe email them this video and they can help you from there.

So how much start to finish would a project like this cost?
That’s something I can’t really answer. It all depends on your skill level what you want to do what parts you put into it I could range from five grand to 25 quite easily
