You know considering Nickelodeon in recent years is working a lot with nostalgic properties, I think the fact that this Pilot has a decent cult following and it wouldn't really cost them anything, it's like a reboot of an original property.
I feel sorry for the rat. He’s actually surprisingly capable. He stole the eye, uncovered the double agent, and even got the eye back to base while being pursued. If it wasn’t for how unhinged his boss was, the eye would’ve been secured. He gets abused by pretty much everybody. I think he should just quit working for the baron and start his own criminal organization. He’d probably surpass the baron’s achievements pretty quickly.
That’s the average boss and employee dynamic tbh. They act like the company couldn’t survive without them but when it comes down to it they don’t know how to do any work

Like Looney Tunes was officially pulled off the air in 2007 and wouldn't return to television until 2009.

Plus this pilot was made in 2007, so it would've been just before Cartoon Network started to get really good again, and most likely wasted as a result.

If this had existed 20 years ago, Nickelodeon would have picked it up in a heartbeat. The humor is enjoyable, the artwork has charmingly anachronistic, and the characters are very unique. But there is one option if none of the major networks like the Hub pick it up: Hulu. Make it a Hulu original series. House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and RWBY have proved that Internet-only programming is profitable and high quality. If not Hulu, the Internet is a big place, and the comments section shows there would be no shortage of individuals who would pay to watch it.

The worked on many cartoon shows of the 80's, including, but not limited to: Ren&Stimpy, the Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Animaniacs, Chowder, and Tiny Toons. They were writers, artists, designers,animators, and in Reccardi's case, a musician and composer(including the theme of Ren&Stimpy!). They truly deserve their own series. P.S., You're welcome for the biographies.
Goodness, chris reccardi and Craig McCracken is just a perfect duo of creating such a masterpiece like THIS! Shame on Nickelodeon for not greenlighting this wonderful show!
I love this concept and I can tell in the comments there's still a demand for this show to still become a full series, but sadly, that will likely never happen now. The show's creator Chris Reccardi tragically passed away from a heart attack in 2019.

Sad that the creator of this animation (chris reccardi) worked on some of the most iconic shows from this century (ren & stimpy, powerpuff girls, spongebob,etc..) and was friends with legends like gendy tartakovski ,rob renzetti and craig mcCracken but unlike his friends never managed to took off with his own animation series, and one of his only opportunities, the modifiers, was never picked up and he died only to have one of the pilots that represent his legacy be remembered because of some shitty flash animation. Either way i recommend checking out the concept art for this pilot and his other art too, RIP Chris.

Nickelodeon rejected this and Adventure Time, yet greenlights Breadwinners, a 4 1/2 minute long low-grade animation that has barely over 100k views on youtube and was only shown in a bar in New York. Nickelodeon needs to die, and take Viacom with it.
To be honest, this show has really caught my eye. You could root for either end, and still be satisfied with the end result. To be fair, I was sided with the rat, and a satisfying conclusion was still achieved.
I’m an adult now and this looked like it could have been a decent show. It would of been a better fit for Cartoon Network. I be feeling sorry for these writers to put their all into these cartoons just for them to not make the cut.😭

I miss these style of shows. I know this one never aired but it had the same vibes of The cartoons from it's time. I feel like there aren't any cartoons coming out today that just speak Saturday morning cartoon. Shows perfect to watch before going to school and perfect for watching while eating cereal in your pajamas especially on the weekends. Feels like shows nowadays are being made to be binged and not watched episodically. And I get it this is a new era that's equally as good but I'll always have a soft spot for these cartoons due to my childhood. Wish this one got made, I would've watched it alot growing up.

The rat took the rock out of the robot-pack, and she had the rat's back on her back when she left, but then had one in her hand when going up the elevator, so she grabbed the robot-pack before she left. Another poorly-shown reason why this cartoon is just weird.
If this got aired, it would've kickstarted a whole new generation being into "goth girls." I like the soundtrack too. Has that 60s rockabilly and surf rock vibe, which was also in many spy movies.
To be fair that generation already had Raven from Teen Titans, Sam and Ember from Danny Phantom, Shego from Kim Possible, Gwen from total drama Marceline from AT later on

This pilot is like a twisted love letter to the 60's and 70's British cartoons and British spy shows that aired on early Nickelodeon.

That's probably not the reason why. It might be, because the animation style, it's not as colorfully as their other shows. And it's not the show type of story as the other shows, it actually has a plot and is not filled with dumb jokes.

The worked on many cartoon shows of the 80's, including, but not limited to: Ren&Stimpy, the Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, Animaniacs, Chowder, and Tiny Toons. They were writers, artists, designers,animators, and in Reccardi's case, a musician and composer(including the theme of Ren&Stimpy!). They truly deserve their own series. It's because it had a female protagonist. Not of outright sexism, but other shows with female leads didn't do very well at the time.
I love the villain, he's awesome, the girl is cute but the robot is annoying, I'd like to see a Billy and Mandy type duo for the protagonists, and capitalize on dark humor surrounding the main villain

Sad that the creator of this animation (chris reccardi) worked on some of the most iconic shows from this century (ren & stimpy, powerpuff girls, spongebob,etc..) and was friends with legends like gendy tartakovski ,rob renzetti and craig mcCracken but unlike his friends never managed to took off with his own animation series, and one of his only opportunities, the modifiers, was never picked up and he died only to have one of the pilots that represent his legacy be remembered because of some shitty flash animation. Either way i recommend checking out the concept art for this pilot and his other art too, RIP Chris.

To be honest, this show has really caught my eye. You could root for either end, and still be satisfied with the end result. To be fair, I was sided with the rat, and a satisfying conclusion was still achieved.
I’m an adult now and this looked like it could have been a decent show. It would of been a better fit for Cartoon Network. I be feeling sorry for these writers to put their all into these cartoons just for them to not make the cut.😭
Now this could have made a really great show. I mean Agent Xero and Mole are very likable characters and to quote Mr Enter they actually have opposing goals which is very rare in any type of show. People, this needs to be a show.

Why has no one picked this up yet? It has interesting characters, the premise is interesting, the setting is interesting, and it even has some good humor.
Sad this will mainly be known for Zone's flash of it. That said it seems like a show that a decent and unique artstyle but, I guess it didn't do enough for Nick.

I miss these style of shows. I know this one never aired but it had the same vibes of The cartoons from it's time. I feel like there aren't any cartoons coming out today that just speak Saturday morning cartoon. Shows perfect to watch before going to school and perfect for watching while eating cereal in your pajamas especially on the weekends. Feels like shows nowadays are being made to be binged and not watched episodically. And I get it this is a new era that's equally as good but I'll always have a soft spot for these cartoons due to my childhood. Wish this one got made, I would've watched it alot growing up.

To be fair we did get Rise of the TMNTs from it, and like The Modifyers it got the short end of the stick

funny thing, the robot is the one with the rock in it and the bag has the eye so when they make the switch it makes no sense that the robot escapes with agent xero with the eye
The rat took the rock out of the robot-pack, and she had the rat's back on her back when she left, but then had one in her hand when going up the elevator, so she grabbed the robot-pack before she left. Another poorly-shown reason why this cartoon is just weird.
Tom Evans Yes, so she escaped with both packs, but the eye should have been in the pack on her back.
If this got aired, it would've kickstarted a whole new generation being into "goth girls."
