If your thinking of coming to Prime Inc or want to get your CDL license. I honestly believe Prime is a solid company to start your trucking journey. Make sure when you fill out the online application @ www.primeinc.com put my driver code STREXA on page 2 of the application when it ask who referred you. Thanks for watching my video 😊
What is the commitment to Prime after CDL school? 6 months, 1 yr, etc? Thnx Rex… can you pay out of pocket? Can you drive trucks home? Thanks I’m waiting on another company to call back but they are slow!
Hey brother, you realize writing in a trailer number on a scale ticket could cost you a big problems should a scale house find issues with your weight! Keep doing what you do! Long time subscriber! ✌️
What's up Rex!!! Love your videos, very helpful and uplifting. Giving a ton of knowledge. You would definitely make a great trainer. I've been driving for prime for a year and a half now in the reefer division. I wanna make a switch next year. And watching your content has influenced me to want to come to the tanker division. You just make it look so awesome and fun. Thanks for that.. Keep it going!!!
Man I e hit my head up there at the top before opening the lid there at southwest city and get crap on my hat!! When I was watching u up there I already knew something was about to go down! Thank god u got it all off
Rex - all you had to do to open the dome is to open the tree valve by doing this air will get into the tank and release the pressure so you can open the dome.
When I opened up the tree valve it started sucking air in? Is that normal? Got worried and immediately closed it and cut that part out of my video 😂 Thanks!
You can tighten a couple of the butterfly nuts and use a brass hammer and knock on one of them until it’s tight enough and it will release that pressure on the dome lid.
I always hated stopping at the Love’s whenever I was in trucking in the mid 2000’s. They were always very small compared to the other truck stops. There is a Love’s just past the state line traveling west into New Mexico from Texas. I was about to fall asleep at the wheel at the crack of dawn one morning, so I took my break there. Was one of my worst breaks ever because the only open spot I was able to find was in front of the pumps. Woke up a ton of times to air brakes releasing.
Whenever we buy a new vehicle we ALWAYS buy some high quality custom fit seatcovers to protect the factory seats. At trade in time we whip them off and the dealer sees brand new seats giving us maximum trade $$$$. !
Good afternoon Rex! Another awesome video! The storms seem to be very active this year. I think I see alot more of prime trucks up this way more then I ever remember not complaining its cool to see them up my way. One of these days I'm gonna drive one of them trucks can't wait. Have a great week enjoy family time... keep on trucking Rex til next video!
Awesome video as usual. I was meaning to ask you if you know anything about “ComVet Trucker” another Prime Tanker TH-camr, I think his name is Shane??? Anyway, he like fell off the face of the earth a few months ago. Does he still work there and just quit making videos… Stay safe my friend and see you on the next video!
Rex, Another helpful tip I hope…. When the dome lid is stuck like that, you can remove the Zerx fitting on the X-mas tree and open the valve. That will relieve the pressure. This is helpful especially if you’re loaded and opening the rear will not release the pressure when it’s loaded.
Hi Rex! I was going to come to Prime and drive tanker, but went to another company and am driving dry van. I still want to get into driving tankers. I’ve only been driving for around five months. What are the requirements to drive for Prime? Would I have to go through TNT for the whole time? I would love to hear from you. I’ve worked for SWIFT and now work for another company out of Memphis.
You would just have to do orientation which is 3 days then tanker boot camp which is another 2 days of training. Tanker boot camp- they show you how to hook up your hoses and use your pump. Hope this helps!
That is cool. I flew freight for about 15 yrs in airplanes and hauled a lot of animals too. Race horses, chicken, dogs, crickets you name it. Classified material for military too. I had many of the same obstacles you have. Love your organization skills. Perfect.@@truckingwithrex
I tried that and instead of it relieving the pressure it was sucking in air? Is that normal? Seemed strange 🤔 so I closed it and waited for loader to open the rear trailer valve
$1500-$2200 average per week Living in Springfield pulling tankers I get routed into Springfield MO 1-3X per week without asking for home time. I average 2200-2400 miles per week roughly
I mostly get gunk on the back of my shirt when doing pre/post trips… on, and I keep getting 5th wheel grease on my hat when checking breaks. Hah! But yeah, I’d not want a cloth seat doing tanker if I was lease. Hey Strexa… does Prime do any hazmat hauling? Something tells me they don’t have the CSA scores for it.
Taking notes on all these suggestions even from last videos now that I’m actually going over to the tanker side. Keep up the great content brother🫱🏾🫲🏻✨

Bought it at Walmart in the outdoor section. They have em at all the Walmarts I’ve been too!🤞🤙
Copy that. Thanks
Thank you so much. I was just about to ask that. Seems everything I try just leaks. :(

How does those loads feel with a Cascadia?
I’m use to the freightliner now, the Peterbilt was definitely smoother.
That’s a decent spank wash for drivers.👍

Chicken fat, tallow “beef fat”, inedible eggs, canola oil etc.

Dude I thought you where aleast 100k subs! Not 11k!
You could have easily went down the street to the domino truck stop for ur ten. Did you know about that place?
Open the Christmas tree valve on top

When you were trying to open the dome your back brushed against the overhead pipes etc. and that's where the grease is from. Good ole chicken fat.
Didn’t figure that out til later lol

No HAZMAT at prime just inedible or food grade tanker
That is pay in the butt you have to go black to love truck stop twice.😮
Just used you for referral
I know that's not your truck,lol.😂
Lol
Beep beep beep beep.....SNIP aggravating beep gone
Could have relieved the vacume through the air connection/Chicago fitting on top.
I actually opened that and felt a suction which was very strange 🤔
It was sucking air in to equalize the pressure
That was chicken crap most definitely
Hey man imagining doing livestock hauling for a living 😆...Cow,pig,and chicken 💩💩💩
Nah nah not for me, I’m smell them when they pass me 😂 I’m good haha
