Gremlins are what brought me to 'faux; and I have almost all of them now (Though I do have a bit of each of the other factions. Ophelia was my first master and I got all 7 now. Bayou ARE the best
The gremlins being mostly size 1 does actually have an advantage, under the shadow rule "When drawing sight lines from one model to another, if either model is in the Shadow of terrain with Height equal to or greater than the Size of that model (even partially), any sight lines that pass through the terrain generating that Shadow are blocked (even if the terrain is being ignored due to its Height, as per the Line of Sight and Size rules on pg. 53)." This means that gremlins can hide behind size 1 walls and barricades and be completely out of line of sight which is great for sneaking up on long ranged crews
Orange gremlins, like hobgoblins... nb, if you 'can' shoot 30+ inches, you haven't got the right amount of terrain... when's the next batrep coming out?
Why Bayou, because insane, hill-billy, swamp goblins - I mean literally, what is not to love. Anyone that doesn't love Bayou is frankly just weird. Also Mama has a big spoon and she is willing to use it.
I don't like Bayou on flavor, if I could take the raw mechanics it would be great. But that's how it is with "greenskin" factions. Either you appreciate the LoLrandomRAWR (but not actually random in Malifaux) or you find it mildly annoying.
I like that they feel like they're copying other factions, just poorly. It lets some comedy to fill in where it wouldn't work initially. It works well with the idea of them copying the "big folk" while not understanding the nuance as to why behind everything
Nice video! Would love to see what you got to say about other factions!
I remember (2) deliverance action wave 1, 1st ed.

@@haroldsandahl6408 big folk are way easier to shoot. Small hitbox is meta.
