@@lightly_vex The commentor is making fun of Cinena Summary. He has been making “How to beat” videos and turn it into a series. But most/if not, all of the “How to beat” videos he made is sacrificing and killing others for him to keep living.
Fun Fact: In the anime, Light started changing his strategy as soon as the police database was updated just so L would be forced to suspect the Japanese police force. This caused him to investigate them secretly which resulted in a majority of the detectives walking out and refusing to cooperate with L. The movie makes up for it though with the art museum scene in my opinion.
I just realized, the scene where Ray Penber writes the names of his fellow agents on that paper shouldn't have happened. Light couldn't make him do it via the Death Note since the Death Note doesn't allow you to kill people indirectly without writing their names down as well. Which means Penber did that of his own volition, which is absurd for an FBI agent to do, knowing damn well that Kira had every intention of killing those agents and couldn't do so without their names, and would likely kill him after doing so anyway. A real agent wouldn't have fallen for that and simply would have refused. However, there might be something I'm forgetting that would've explain that part that I can't remember, so if anyone knows, please tell me.
In the manga and anime, Light as Kira threatens to kill Raye's fianceé, Naomi and his family if he doesn't write down the names. So, out of fear for his loved ones he writes the names down.

16:41 The problem with this is that Light didn't WANT L to stop searching for him Stopping the case wouldn't be fun enough for Light, he wanted to personally outsmart L and beat him at the game they were playing
In the manga, Ryuk sayd that he threw the Death Note in to the human world without knowing who would get it. So the fact Light was the one to find it was random.

@@bighex5340 that doesn't really work, since if you're the target or future victim, it would be pretty hard to know who has the Death Note and who's going to be writing your name in the book. It's not like you write your own name in the book. Unless, you're meaning to say how to stay alive, if you're the one who has the Death Note, like Light? If so, I guess that would work. As long as you never wrote down any name in the book to begin with. If you wrote down even 1 person's name though, you're kinda screwed. No getting out of it then. Unless you meant a specific name or names.... ???
It is claimed that whoever uses the Death note will end up miserable which is proved over and over again. Misa loses the love of her life, Yaguchi gets caught by the police, Light loses sight of his goal and gets humiliated. His father dies happily, but his son is Kira, and he dies. Mello gets killed without accomplishing his goals of procing himself, and Mikami realises that there is no god, and gets sentenced to death. I think that if you use the death note, things will end up badly and it is unavoadable. I think it's some sort of force of destiny and can never be prevented.
Even if you don't use it, you still end up badly as proven by the one shot in which Tanaka (the protagonist) sells the notebook without ever using it and yet he still dies because the shinigami king creates a new rule for him to die. Though this does prove that is not so much an inescapable destiny but rather the whims of a god that plays with their lives. Which is arguably worse.
I think Ryuk mentioned in the first chapter in the manga that when the user die, they would not go to heaven or hell and that the shinigami would write the user's name into their own book
@@rudolphderainbow8625 Yes, but there s no reason to believe that he is speaking the truth, and neither any reason to believe that anyone would go to heaven or hell regardless
It’s more that Light’s ego got in the way. He could have killed the criminals in a more discreet way by making it so they all died random deaths instead of all heart attacks so no one would suspect that it was a person behind all that. Not to mention, he impulsively killed Lind Taylor when he could have kept cool and restrained himself. If he had done that, L would never have been able to find him.

@@random-zz8ut No, this movie is based on the manga
@@random-zz8ut no, no it didnt
@@DecembraWinters That makes no sense. Light didn't even know his fiancée existed at the time, let alone her name. And there was never any mention of them having children.
@Trey5S5S you're right, he didn't. then ray told him before he got on the train.
light said something to the effect of your loved ones are my actual hostages to get what i want here.

Unless you meant a specific name or names.... ???
@@rave2069 very true!
His father died happily because he ended up not writing anyone's name on the death note therefore he didn't use it
Even if you don't use it, you still end up badly as proven by the one shot in which Tanaka (the protagonist) sells the notebook without ever using it and yet he still dies because the shinigami king creates a new rule for him to die. Though this does prove that is not so much an inescapable destiny but rather the whims of a god that plays with their lives. Which is arguably worse.

It’s more that Light’s ego got in the way.
