The only thing that irks me about Dragon being Strong are 2 factors: 1. If he was strong enough to eclipse the verse he could have successfully mounted a rescue for Ginny. His commanders are far weaker than him and so is Fisher Tiger and they could infiltrate and extract targets with minimal casualties. 2. Dragon should not be concerned about the revolutionary army falling upon his death. It makes sense from a logical standpoint, but this is One Piece. The series is entirely based on the passing on of wills. Someone who is the tiniest bit cognizant of what's going on behind the scenes should be aware of that. If Dragon were to die, and he was strong and his followers respected him, they could carry on without him. Not as effectively probably, but eventually give enough to succeed in the end. I really don't want Dragon to be strong because then he has absolutely 0 excuse for his laziness.
@@CloudyDazeDragons goal is to overthrow the world government he won’t just go around saving people some were lucky he did save them, but they are probably saving resources and building up the army to save for the final war.
Well don't assume a OP character dead if it isn't shown. Jaguar D Saul was frozen by Kuzan same to Garp. Not gonna be surprised if Garp is just chillin in a cell. In the future, Dragon will act since Oda is keeping him for the final battle. We still need to see Luffy and Dragon's reaction learn about Garp's status which is MIA. I also theorized Joyboy maybe a Monkey D so I pretty much agree with you. there
I probably go 1 Dragon 2 Garp and 3 Luffy Reason being a full powered and motivated Kaido would defeat gear 5 Luffy mid-diff, and after reading the manga it is apparent that Kizaru was not going all out against Luffy, now if we talking about a prime Luffy than its a toss up between the Monkey D family on who the strongest
If we're talking current yeah Probably Luffy but only due to 1. Garp's age and the fact he probably held back on his Galaxy Impact so as not to kill Coby 2. We still haven't seen Dragon really do anything combat wise 3. Luffy's DF is kinda OP and technically it was Joy Boy who send the elders packing But if we're talking each member at their peak I'd say Garp would still hold the title for now as Luffy will no doubt get stronger

Rayleigh who is much weaker than garp still no diffed that g4 all be it a bit of a weaker g4 but still pretty much just as strong. When oda is purposely keeping a character featless, you better believe it, it is for them to appear much stronger when they finally get feats.
I'm sure Dragon is stronger than Garp, but Shanks is a different story, as we're being shown that all the Figarlands are top tiers, so Shanks has more to him for sure. I do think however that even if Dragon isn't as strong as Shanks, he will be much more instrumental in beating the celestial dragons.

Zoro is as strong as he is because of Mihawk(a top tier character) training him. Luffy is as strong as he is because of Rayleigh(a top tier character) training him. Sabo is a strong as he is because of Dragon training him. There’s no way Dragon at this moment isn’t above Luffy and Garp.
