Other than that they are for the most part the same. However, as the M240i is a smaller vehicle it is also lighter and would feel more nimble.

As soon as the vehicle senses an impact it would start saving and would save from max 20 Seconds before the impact to 20 Seconds after the impact. This way you have up to a full 40 seconds video saved in your vehicles built in hard drive. Then you can plug in a USB flash drive and retrieve that video if needed. You can also activate the camera manually and record an incident or an aggressive driving act, aggressive/ abusive driver, a road rage scenario or driving through a scenic route.

2 is smaller, also the cabin will not quite be as nicely finished as the 4 in some places
