Did 206 with non tuned 1L tsi virtus on this expressway. It showed potential to go even more. I think they have not locked 1L thinking nobody would try to push 1L that much. But they have locked 1.5 to 203.
Both are locked… I did 205 on 1.0 and 200 it does on D5 itself… all VW cars have rev limiter… whenever you hit the speed limit it cuts the fuel supply and maintain that speed
@@13akashchauhan Might be I was driving manual and was on 6th gear obviously. After 206 I had to brake due to obstruction but it seemed it could go even further. Probably I had hit the max speed.

@@RoomanRooman-lj2gq if you are not much of performance enthusiast, 1L is very good. 1.5L engine is only required if you want good pull in 150-190kmph range.

There are many videos of cars with 1.5 TSI fly by on German Autobahn with speeds upto 240 KMPH but the full potential of this engine cannot be reached in India
even the jetta 1.4tsi was unlocked when it’s third gen came to india and it used to do 240kmph in stock conditions

First off all the German Autobahn has many rules and regulations. Even if they apply those rules in India nobody would follow them. Even with a speed limit you can see many idiots driving in the overtake lane. Indians cannot follow road rules that's why they can't do such things right now.

VW 1.0 in sport mode goes to 150km/h easily. You will not even feel it. Stability and engine is very smooth. i have done this on Delhi Meerut highway

The Virtus is electronically limited to 203kmph. That will not change till the ECU is not unlocked
203 because there's +3 kmph buffer. So, the actual speed is locked at 200kmph.

The vw t roc also has the same 1.5 tsi with same specs and a different esu so is it possible that we can replace the ecu of the virtus and put the ecu of a t roc then it would become tunable

Virtus ki to 260 hai to atleast 240 to jaana hi chahiye thi..pta nhi vw walo ne lock kyu ki hai..may be because of increased ground clearance 180 which is quite high considering a sedan
204 virtus manual bhi 4th gear me jaati ha bro . Virtus ka ecu India ke liye lock ha because of Indian conditions.

I have also booked a VW Virtus 1L Topline, lava blue color, it is a feature rich car, I don't think it lacks any features when compared to the 1.5 GT version except for the power, somebody cotrect me if I am wrong.
No features lacking between them... Only the engine and the transmission differs... That too the transmission only differs between the automatic variants as the 1.0 has Torque Converter and the 1.5 has DSG. Manual is same for both engines.
