I have a Virtus GT. I don’t have a Verna. After seeing it loose against the Verna in the short run, it makes me want to send this video to Volkswagen and ask them HOW? VW should definitely look into this as it’s only degrading it’s reputation. VW has several luxury car manufactures under it. They know quite a lot about speed.
Apart from this I bought the Virtus GT due to its 5 star NCAP rating and great sporty design (better than Verna on personal choice) and the trust factor that German engineering has carried for years.
But after seeing this video, i want to say come on VW, a few more tweaks and you’ll create a faster car. VW knows the game, but it’s hesitant for some reason.
Bro see Verna is Aerodynamically better and this VW Hyundai stereo tupe is only in India also verna has higher power to weight ratio thus It wins (112 Bhp /ton ). Virtus is also good choice because of its looks.

In their channel they have one carbom steel grey virtus ,, with that they had race with abarth punto , in that drag race both are soo close each other that is why i choose that particular carbon steel grey car for drag with new verna .. i mean to say at the begging 7 month before when new verna drag race comes verna loss the race .. but now it is opposite result.. so clutch life is also very important for piking up speed .. especially these dry clutch plenty time launched .. which is not good for dsg gear box ..

VW fans who thinks its end of VW, these are not VRS engines.. The 2011 Laura VRS with less figures than VERNA just smokes it. Mark 1 octavia can even catch up with this verna... You can check it in youtube. These slavia or virtus are not built for aggressive performance.. They have clearly said, max torque starts since 1500 rpm but range is till 4300 whereas VRS is assured to have max torque at 1250 rpm.. Its clear they didnt intend to have an aggresive performance car , if VW wants they will simply put one in market.. race with Laura 2011-2013 or stage 1 tuned octavia mark 1 VRS, Verna will be seen through rear view mirrors😂😂😂

@@rishav_killerx6011 Suzuki Is in different league(Mass market car). There are only 4 Sadan in a similar segment (Honda City , VW virtus, Skoda salavia, Hyundai Verna). CITY HEV is most advanced but way too expensive. VW and Akoda are nearly the same. Hyundai Verna is now offering style, features , power and 5 star safety. Sales figures are picking up especially the manual are in high demand after the release.
The problem with VW is service and expensive parts. VW service guys are pretty arrogant. They behave as if you are a fool and only they know about the car.
Suzuki in collaboration with Toyota has an excellent practical city petrol strong hybrid mini SUV. It returns double the mileage then VW/skoda mini SUV. Indian buyers are very sensitive to power, mileage and now safety..
