How to remove the annoying safety switch.
Removing the switch will obviously void any warranty.
2:50 - The screws holding the ratchet head in place are held in with loctite.
Some force is required to remove these.

it's to stop the trigger from being pressed if you have it in a bag etc and draining the battery... but an annoying design like you said!
