I absolutely love the .45 setup on the new evo24- it's incredible. Excellent demo and great info Rob! I couldn't agree more with you on this.
@@theartworkshop thanks Mark definitely agree the 45 setup works so well 👍
The Paasche TS-3AS Dual Action Siphon Feed Airbrush Set with 3 Tips has those rings on the needles to identify size
Nice!
I'm really waiting for the new Infinity, but once I'm back at work, might treat myself at Xmas.
What I'm really looking forward to is the release of the Cult of Paint trigger as a stand alone accessory.
Warrick said they would, he didn't put a date on it though. I believe it's the best trigger they do!
So currently it's in my Infinity and the CoP Infinity has the regular trigger
I'd love to get the Giraldez Infinity and put the CoP trigger in that for painting my minis
Best brush i've ever used, probably won't need another. It's one of those things you really just need to see and use for yourself to feel the full appreciation.
@@torn.blue.sky101 totally agree 👍 and yes the brush will be with you for life
Hi Rob, would it be possible for you to cover your thoughts on air ventilation / extraction when using acrylics with an airbrush please?
The Evo looks a great brush, I'm surprised at how well it sprays the thin pain at higher pressures I doesn't seem to care what pressure you use so it would be a great brush for the beginner👍
I’m in love with this brush. I have a hard time using any of my others now.
Same. I ended up getting the 2in1, does it all. Outstanding brush. Absolutely outstanding. Still haven't had a single block or issue.
@@jeremysears9964 thank you both for your feedback totally agree with you 👍
Looks good, I have the Infinity and was using it today, but I am finding that the trigger has to come half way back before releasing WF inks. I have cleaned out thoroughly, but still get the problem, also it suddenly lets go of the paint and I get a big blob coming out. Thank You.
I must confess that I am waiting on the announcement of the 2024 Infinity before I decide which to get (Evo or Infinity). I currently have the "classic" Evo, so no adjustment at all.
Great review ... Been eyeing one of these up .. I have the eclipse hp.cs and the creos ps289 ... So was thinking evolution cr plus 2024 or creos ps270 ? ... P.s any news on your Etsy store ?
Very good video.
Do you know if the Fpc valve can be adapted to the new evo 24?
Greetings
Thanks mate for another great review, and to confirm I’m now starting a collection of H&S brushes you’ve convinced me mate 👍
@@No1Scotsman01 Scot I got the 2024 ultra by h+s recommended by Rob as a starter h+s brush and it is classed as a lower end learners brush 🤔 not the case mukka the thing absolutely sings bro the 2024 range of h+s brushes are the bomb and a must to get if ya wallet allows 👌👌
If ya cant afford we could always meet up and go down to Chelmsford when Robs over in Germany and permanently borrow his 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@deanbrown7643 only you would say such a thing mukka stop giving Scott bad ideas 🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@dredfxcustompaint my bad mukka it's the counsel
Just the northern chav comming outta me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you can do that with the 2024 evo what will you be able to do with the infinity 2024 infinity 🤔🤔 when launched 😮😮😮
@@deanbrown7643 the new infinity will do it alot easier with more finesse and adjustment I think
Morning mukka 👍
I'm totally new I bought the ultra and I'm finding it a faff to quickly clean the needle if it's drys.. kinda wish i bought this one so i could use it without the end cap guard type thingy 🤔
Thanks Rob, hopefully plan to get one of these airbrushes soon..Be interesting to feel the difference between my budget ish ps270 and the H&S.
@@benjammin1212 I have the 270 and it's a very good airbrush the evo is just way better on build quality comfort and ease of use
I guess H&S won’t be introducing the new Infinity model for a while. Must not have meet their sales quotas between their two newest 2024 models at this time.
The Ultra can do this too, just saying. However the crowncap and trigger tension on the Ultra are just not shaped out for tiny detail. I hope H&S will offer an upgrade kit with a different spring
@@alternate3787 yes the ultra 2024 can I've tried it on small detailed stuff there's just alot of tension for me in the trigger
Rob, thanks mate. I just purchased the Ultra as a beginner and wish I found this video sooner. I will definitely be picking up the EVO CRPlus in the not so distant future. Great video, thanks again. Subbed!
Edit: I also learned something by watching this - that you can press the trigger to engage the airflow without engaging the needle. Im going to go try this with my Ultra later on
Rob, really enjoying the channel but for transparency, are your equipment reviews Independent in that you have personally bought them, or are they 'paid reviews'? I watched your Initial review of the brush but didn't see any mention of whether or not you were given it for example by H&S to review.
@@Sabre-X1 these are my own brushes and will always give you an honest opinion weather its 👍 or its bad 👎 if a brush gets sent to
Me I will say at the beginning of the video
@@dredfxcustompaint Thanks for clarifying Rob. I have the same brush btw and don't disagree with anything you have said in your review.
Hi rob is Liquitex acrylic paint any good ? I know you love the fw inks. I only have the cheap acrylic paints at present which seems to make my art work look very dull. Cheers gaz
@@gazgazist hi gaz yes they are very good 👍 I will be getting some very soon to try out on the channel
@@dredfxcustompaint awesome thanks for that coz I only do my art work then it goes in a folder as haven't been airbrushing long, but feel a better paint will up my paintings. Stay safe bud!
@@dredfxcustompaint morning sorry for being a nuisance, hobby craft do Liquitex acrylics but not ready thinned & a bigger bottle for same price as the thinned which 1 do you think would be better to get plz ? Fanx didn't realise until now Hobbycraft is paint & the other ones are an ink which would you recommend please? Sorry for all the questions your the only 1 I'll ask coz everyone has there own opinion! 😁
@@gazgazist I would go for the ink definitely when it comes to the airbrush side of things
@@dredfxcustompaint awesome did wonder many thanks, hope you don't mind me asking you questions? Your knowledge is outstanding thanks once again. 😁
Iso?
@@bojonsson2773 isopropyl alcohol water and ink mix 👍
i remember in one of your past video you were showing the issue of the trigger of the infinity CR (i.e. play/movement, no direct feeling etc) Did the solve the issue on this?
@@enricobononi8655 the 2024 range is spot on 👍
Great review, thanks for sharing!
I started with a cheap airbrush to see if I'd would do well or better. After being abeginner I checked many quality airbrush reviews. Considering money also and all other qualities and listening to your evaluation This is my quality brush ! You were my deciding factor. Especially after saying if you have issues with this brush then you're doing something wrong, it's not the brush!
Thank you
Back when I learned (before TH-cam, and I couldn't find a teacher) the best advice I could find was "Get one of X, Y, or Z. If you have issues, then you're doing something wrong, it's not the brush!"
Keep your cheap brush. You'll be surprised how useful it still is. After I, um... used my _quality_ brush to _get over myself_ those years ago, I've used several "cheap" brushes, including the cheap brush I started with.
I was expecting them to be as bad as I remembered. Instead, the cheap brushes worked great. It threw the _fact_ my early problems were _me doing something wrong, not the brush_ into big, bold letters.
This is good content.
I'm always trying to convince my friends who scale model and paint minis they don't need 2mm and below needles and nozzles unless they want to paint the pupils of eyes with it.
I can just show them this video now.
@@rankcolour8780 👍
I’m in love with my EVO. I’ve got the squidmar and I couldn’t be happier. Is simply the best airbrush I have ever own. The cleaning process is sooooo much easier than any other brushes that makes it the perfect combination. The 0.2 and the 0.4 is like having 2 airbrushes or high quality and excellent performance. The response on the trigger is amazing the feel to the touch and the joy of getting virtually any paint to spray and atomized perfectly. Definitely recommend.
@@erre333 the squidmar design looks really nice 👌 everything else you have said I couldn't agree more 👍 thank you for watching and sharing you
