Question... what made you want to watch this? My sister has been in this “religion” for 5 years! I would love for her to watch this but she got angry and didn’t even give it a chance to watch it! I need help getting her out!

I've noticed that nominal church goers who don't study the Bible, are most easily drawn in. When we don't learn how to study and think critically, we are vulnerable.

I spoke with this group about 6 years ago. I carry a lot of conviction about my faith in Jesus Christ. I was raised in truth and studied the Bible yet this group almost had me convinced of their lies. After speaking with them for like three ours in a library I felt myself becoming convinced and I told the man that I could not jump into a new faith. I promised him that I would go and pray and if what he said was true that God would show himself to me and show me His true nature. As I promised I went and prayed and this verse was brought to me. "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Jesus is the only name that was clearly given in all of the Bible that salvation is given. Though this battle for my faith scared me, I was made stronger through it. I pray for those who are new or facing weakness in their faith that you pray and read the Bible before jumping in with this group. God has revealed Himself and his true Nature to us clearly and he will continue to do so as long as you seek Him out.
So true....I believe what Acts 4:12 says wholeheartedly....but even if you quote Acts. 4:12 to them they will says that this only applies 2000 years ago and that Christ has a new name.
Am not even strict Christian but when they tried to tell me I would be baptized under anhonghong and pray calling this name. I knew they were up-to something. I kept thinking. You are only to be baptize under the name of Jesus. Nothing else. God was talking to me. In Jesus name amen.
I love how you added the Acts verse 4:12, only Jesus ☝🏼this situation did make my faith stronger and made me realize that when you know you know. It happened to me once at Walmart with my kids. I knew NOTHING about their religion and both my kids and I were weirded out by what they believe. About 2 years later and I’m watching all these videos! I knew better once he started twisting scripture. Thank God for discernment!
Hey Mike.....I am an Ethiopian guy here in East Africa....They started also spreading this ideas in streets and we met them. Mostly I was not prepared but told them about the adoption and only life through Christ. Thanks for your videos I will give it to all my friends. It helped me immensely when I left the cult I was in for 28 years. I understand the regret of devoting years of your life to something and then finding out it was a cult. I feel that way too, sometimes, I want those years back. I feel like they stole those years from me. But that will never happen, we can't go back in time and change it. All we change is our present and you are taking an incredibly brave step to make your present 1000% better than the years you spend in the cult.
I encountered them at a boba shop 😂😂 Me being an intellectual agnostic basically attacked the legitimacy of the Bible itself exhausted them into defeat, yet I praised their "refreshing" take on the Christian religion.
I honestly feel deceived. I cried for forgiveness to their God. I truly believed their teachings. they usually were able to answer questions I had and would refer to the bible to make their statements seem more believable. You are not supposed question their teachings either because of this fact. When you are in an environment where everyone believes but you it does something to you. the peer pressure is unreal as well. I tried to leave multiple times and they would come over to my house, see me on campus and try to talk to me. It got so bad I almost got a restraining order on them. I could only take it for so long. This was my first religion and I dont know when I'll join another. So grateful I found this video.
I am so so sorry this happened to you and you got sucked in. I totally understand and I have been burned many times by supposed Christians . Remember people are sinful and fallen. Never let them determine your view of God and Jesus Christ. Jesus doesn’t want you to practice another religion, He wants to give you His gift of Salvation and becoming your Lord and Savior. He already paid the price on the cross and wants to be there through everything you go through. I have been through so, so many things both amazing and horrible but it only made me realize how much I need Him and how much He makes sure all works out for good for those that love God. I was deceived by my parents first. They went to church and pretended to be Christian all while going to Satanic rituals and meeting me and practicing witchcraft. Then my church as teen turned crazy because everyone got prideful after God used some teens to lay hands on blind and deaf and sick people and the Holy Spirit healed them. Those involved and doing good were persecuted and lied about. I also was led to go to a certain college and met my school major professor and his wife and got to see real, honest Christianity at play.... with it’s ups and downs and mistakes with forgiveness and redemption/salvation being worked out because their hearts were seeking God through their weaknesses. I have been blessed because I never gave in and gave up, even through jaded cynical attitude that eventually left once I began to age and trust God more and more. I am married to a strong, yet imperfect follower of Christ and we have 4 living kids (one stillborn son is in heaven) and God has always made sure we have provision and are protected because we love God and won’t bend our morals or fit in even with a church. We have left or been asked to leave a few that turn weird like above or stop preaching the truth in the Bible. This is going to keep happening more and more. Your faith has to become planted in Christ and in His Word alone so when people do awful things, because they will, you can dust off your shoes and trust God will stay with you and it’s not you, it’s them... @@Jaxmusicgal23 Religion is not belief. Do I attend a physical church that has the name of a denomination on it? Yes. Is it my religion? No. When the Bible talks about the church it is talking about the body of Christ i.e. other believers. Going to church building is important for fellowship and teaching. I've attended independent Bible and Baptist churches. Currently we attend a church that has the name "Presbyterian" on the building. It is not, however, part of the liberal main line Presbyterian church.

Please don't be deceived by his hollow and deceptive philosophy his Theology and his own analogies. He doesn't even believe Jesus is God you can see that in 22 minutes 13 seconds of the video. If he doesn't believe Jesus Is God When the Bible teaches that Jesus is God in Philippians chapter 2 verse 6 Isaiah chapter 9 verse 6 Matthew chapter 1 verse 23, we shouldn't listen to anything else he says. There is no Truth for what he saying. It's like this as an example if you had a buttoned shirt and you button the bottom one wrong all the other buttons will be wrong. Everything he saying is wrong so what does that tell you? What he is trying to do disprove is the truth. And he's showing us that.

Just talked to a guy tonight in the grocery store for about an hour from this cult. He was witnessing to my wife and I. We knew what he was teaching was crazy. After researching their church, it's actually crazier than I even thought in the store! Thanks for posting this video. This provides some direct places to go in scripture to refute their teaching. I pray that Holy Spirit would open the eyes of those stuck in this heresy as they read the Bible, and that Christians would be able to help show in the scriptures who God really is! Same exact thing just happened to me tonight! At first they made some interesting points, but then became way too far fetched and when I researched the website it was nuts!
Wow I thank God! same exact thing happened to me for about an hour in Walmart. I gave it a shot because everything was reverted back to the Bible. How could they be lying right? Well 4 Bible studies later it’s time to teach about the cross and I stayed with them for service. My spirit was torn the whole time but I played it off. They kept taking many pictures and videos of me. 1) I always thought the silent prayer thing is odd 2) God the mother? I literally was not able to utter that out my mouth 3) After the first time I did service with them I was awake around 1 in the morning and I saw a dark figure head down pass by my room. I saw it clearly but did not want to believe or know if it was bad or good so I just called out for Jesus and continued watching my movie. The next morning I felt the need to do some research and one of the members said she knew me I had completely forgot about her but remember when I was in high shill she tried to talk to me about this like forcefully even in the bathroom. Whenever I’m drifting or start finding myself lost facades of God comes around me and I don’t do research but I thank God for burdening me with this. Im in shock but at peace God loves me too much and this is another testimony of how highly favored I am. I pray he opens everyones eyes. Thank you Jesus.
I had a similar experience. Met this lady in the supermarket last weekend and we spoke for a while til I left to pay for my stuff. But I had told her outright that I rejected what she was saying. It's not biblically sound. Researching more about the church and their teachings and founding are nuts

About 7 years ago, I almost got sucked into this group and after days of just trying to think, read the Bible, and discuss this with family, I stopped attending Bible studies at this church. I remember just balling one night not knowing what to believe anymore. Now my faith in Christ is back and this video helps me see beyond the blatant lies that this church has to offer.

Thanks for this video, they actually tried recruiting me but I felt odd the whole time seeing that I grew up in a Christian background and have a family full of preachers so I believe God was giving me discernment the whole way as they tried to give me new teachings . I realized it wasn’t right like a month in when I decided to attend they Saturday service, and all they did was sing and pray to a mother deity 🤦🏾♂️ I wanted to jump up and leave but I stayed long enough for it to end . Hello, thank you for this video. I was baptized when i was 6 or 7. Bore tons of fruits ( i pray i didn't commit spiritual murder) led my own group and was studying with adults before any of my classmates.. Passed tons of chapters and was so proud. I never intended to go to college because i thought father was going to come by then.. When i was about 15 or 16 i began to realize how tormented i was and left. How i was taught to argue LITERALLY for like a month straight it was our focus. We gave so much money over those 9 years. And my mom went to korea to meet "nee jerusalem mother. I was tge student of a teacher who eventually exposed the church. And it raised questions that eventually drove me crazy... I got prego and studied so hard.. Went to college religion based classes and had to re learn every holiday and had to recover from serious depression. I had to kick them out of walmart, kingsoopers and even a dry cleaners i worked at. They followed me to every job i had! It was embarrassing and humiliating . im still looking for answers and seeing this video took a load off! (Venting because LITERALLY nobody could understand anything i just said lol)
Thank you so much, Mike! I was approached yesterday by some women in Wal-Mart who were trying to get me to go to their "Bible Study." When I said I already have a group, they revealed that they wanted me to come so that they could tell me about Mother God. I explained that I believe it is unbiblical, but they persisted in their beliefs and tried to use scriptures to back themselves up. Of course, it all broke down with context, but they were stubborn. I had to leave them in their deception. I want to be more prepared in case I meet them (or anyone from this group) again. This was helpful for that. 😊
Omg happened to me today. Bible study and scriptures. Told me God didn't create women. Women came from God the mother. I said what I said to them and they agreed to disagree
This is almost exactly what happened to me. But thank God that I have a Bishop. I was insistent that I speak with my Bishop about this "Mother God" she said "Okay, thank you for your time." And left?!
A women also approached me at a Walmart and shared those scriptures with me. She did it very fast and that was confusing. And asked me to go to a Bible Study. I did not go

Tonight was the first time I came across this new belief and when I told the woman who approached me that I needed to research it more myself and that her scriptures weren't lining up with what she was saying she just told me that I didn't know God and that I wasn't actually saved because I didn't believe in mother God. In the Bible, Adam and Eve are referred to as ‘man’ in the Bible because they became one flesh even though they are two people(Gen 2:24). The main concept of God the Mother existing is because God refers to himself as “us”(Gen 1:26) ‘Us’ and ‘our’ are plural terms for more than one In this instance, only God is speaking but he refers to himself as ‘us’ When God created mankind in his image, he created two images; Male and Female (Gen1:27) So we are humans created in God’s image and likeness Therefore when we are made in the image of God then there must be an original image(God) to be able to make a copy (humans) What were copied images of God? Male image and female image So can a copy be made without an original existing? No

@@devin7760 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27 MEV This clearly says that Adam was made in God's image. After creating Adam he created Eve as a being who was suitable for being Adam's helper, she was not created in the image of God in and of herself but she was in the image of a female Adam and in that way she is in the image of God that is to say that she would be created in the image of God if God were female. Also there are only 3 persons of God clearly seen in scripture, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. No mother is ever mentioned, and if there was a mother Mary would have never needed to give birth to Jesus. Quite frankly it sounds a lot like what Catholics believe about Mary, they say she was born without a father like Jesus.

In Gen. 1:26, that's God telling his heavenly host, "Let's do such and such," even as God himself is the prime mover. It's analogous to when a parent is driving in the car with his or her kids, and tells the kids, "Hey kids, let's go get some ice cream." The kids are acknowledged but the kids themselves are not empowered to do anything to cause that goal to occur.
I believe the "us" is pertaining to the holy trinity of God, which is God the Father, the Son and the holy spirit. Just as the bible says, God himself created all things, and no other pre existing things was involved in the creation cuz God himself is the Most High, Power, no other thing could compare to him, thus there is no need for any assistance or whatsoever.
I actually attended a service on a Saturday where the pastor literally refuted the " queen of heaven" argument by saying, and I quote " heavenly mother is the real queen of heaven" and " the bible was referring to a fake queen of heaven". The members were applauding, I could not believe my ears. How blind/ deaf or ignorant can one really be? the book of Jeremiah makes no distinction between a real and fake queen of heaven, it's the same thing and it provokes God to anger.
Quite correct. it was the sin of ancient Israel and that ancient evil comes down to this very day in this cult, the pseudo cult of Eastern Lightning, and Catholicism where for centuries people called 'Christian' actually pray to the queen of heaven, and for centuries put their enemies to death. And no the Bible does not say we have a female god who is our mother in heaven. Paul in Galatians 4:26 writes ALLEGORICALLY or FIGURATIVELY that Heavenly Jerusalem, in the same way that Sarah is the mother of all who are under the new covenant, is the mother (as in the mother city) of all those who are under this new covenant. Where as those who are under the law (law of Sabbath, Law of Circumcision, Law of religious holy days like you) are Hagar’s children. Children who cannot be part of the heavenly Jerusalem and those who cannot be part of the wedding of the Lamb as the righteous bride of the Lamb. If you don’t believe me, read what Ahnsanghong wrote in his book where he disapproved I of the idea of a god the mother and those who worship her. He eluded to a punishment that awaits her and her followers. I’m sure you don’t want this punishment. I was curious to what she was going to say because she wanted to prove it through the Bible. She read from Genesis and from Revelation. I told her she needed to read the whole passage in the Bible not just those parts. She has to read it all. All she kept saying was ok, ok, ok. Like she didn't want to continue with the conversation. I said thank you for sharing and I walked away and finished shopping. I always wondered what group that lady was with. Now, I see. Thanks.
Really appreciate this video! I had a woman stop me in the grocery store and say just that: "Have you heard of God the Mother?" She only used the verses from Revelation, and I knew I should tell her that the bride was the Church, but I felt bad because I didn't have specific verses like she did. Thank you for your content!
This just happened to me today at a Wal-Mart, but they were calling her "Holy Mother". One verse from Genesis, a couple from Revelation about Jerusalem being the bride, and the bride bringing salvation to us, so as to say the bride is not the church, but rather a seperate actual bride helping bring salvation to us.

I just went to a Bible Study today, had no idea what it was about or what the church was even called. Then when I got there they started talking about this mother stuff and even though I knew it was wrong, the way they laughed at me everytime I said something to refute their statements made me really question if it was true. I instantly went to prayer after leaving the church and asked God to reveal the truth to me. I then read some of the scriptures that you quoted and yes, they still use these same exact verses to defend their false teachings. Realizing that they took basically every verse out of context made me realize it was too farfetched and that their whole belief is based on false assumptions. I also found it weird that the whole study was targeted on the "mother" yet not one minute was really about Jesus' death and Resurrection for our sins it was more them trying to tie Jesus into the idea of the "mother* and only bringing Him up when I would try to refute the pastor, it was a private Bible study amongst just the pastor, myself, and one other. In other words it wasn't a normal church service and they did give me chances to ask questions and were surprisingly open to my questions even though they are so set on this idea. I feel like coming to this video was just a top off of my prayer to God asking Him to reveal the truth to me. I know this is an old video but it is still relevant today and was a great help of assuring myself that I was right all along and they may have laughed at me then but I'm scared for them and may go back to the church to bring more challenging questions now that I know more about it, in hopes of helping those there that lack basic biblical knowledge. I met with a couple members of this group yesterday to discuss their doctrine and they presented their case in EXACTLY the way you just described; they used the same verses and said the same things. I realized they take Scripture out of context by ignoring surrounding verses and omitting or redefining certain words. When they read you a verse, tell them to read the verses preceding and following the one they’re trying to use so as to capture the correct context - it totally changes the point they’re trying to make.
If it wasn’t blasphemous then they would not be upset! This is just GAIA repackaged! This is the Queen of Heaven , Blessed Virgin Mary, Isis , Ishtar, Asherah, etc. All you have to do is read about how angry the Lord is about the Queen of Heaven!
Someone this morning tried to get me to go to this church. I asked what this mother of God is about they told me "dont listen to outside opinions just come and let it sink in many dont like us but we speak truth come see" uhhh? No. Thanks again mike.
I was approached this week by one of these members who invited me to a seminar. When I asked them their core beliefs they were very vague. I started researching my own based on the flyer they sent me. Immediately, I recognized how they twisted the scripture. It is scary that people are believing this. Thank you for bringing the true gospel to light. I'm praying someone is helped by this and realizes that this group is spreading false teachings.
They told me something similar, stating that they don't align in any particular way (no catholic/protestant kind of alignment she meant), which is super confusing for someone like me who's searching. I thought their name already sounded odd, and my suspicions were confirmed by videos like this. I simply don't know yet what the Bible teaches, so whatever they say can sound true to me. :/

I don't "subscribe" to alot of the religion based ideology but I consider myself knowledgeable in the faith. With that said they almost hooked me in too which is kinda concerning. I know I'm vulnerable when it comes to friendly people who are willing to talk to me about whatever it is that they want to have a conversation about, so I really have to work on seeing through these nice sounding stories that are ultimately false.
I was approached by one of them and when I asked "what differentiates your church from other churches?", she simply answered "we believe in all teachings" and proceeded to speek about Jerusalem the mother, the bride. So vague.
I am a christian and was approached with these “cultic groups” because the first time i heard about them from my friends is that i knew it was a cult. Then the day came, these guys approached me and as i listened to their teachings i have this odd sense of feeling that they teach and present. And me as christian who studies every religion and the bible more intimately was almost got decieved and i told them on my last conversation. “I will research about this, because we are at the last days and its expected that false churches shall arise”. And i thank this channel for informing me this, i am actually almost done watching the video because im at the same time taking down notes because im gonna refute those guys. Thank God he gave me you. I was actually praying to God after that conversation that “God will you lead me to the right path where the truth hides” and God is great he gave me the answer. I just met someone who's in this doctrine a couple of days ago. And it hurts my brain so much when she ask me to read Genesis 1:26&27. I'm still struggle to believe which one is true right now. Is it One God or there's Two God.
@@elmohuaerte6082 us is referring to the trinity. Father Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1 the father gives the creation commands. 1:2 Spirit hovers over creation. John 1:3 the son does the manual labor. 1:27 created in HIS own image. Reflection of his character. He created Adam not birthed. Doesn't mention anything about giving birth. See Isaiah 44:24 alone and by himself. Genesis 1:31 HE saw everything he made. Hope this helps.

Then why search it online? They only way to search God is in the scripture. So many people go to see if they can find it online. We can find many gods online. But the true God we can find In The scriptures. Christ taught that the scriptures testify about Him. Yes we have internet and it is convenient today, but to know the truth will still need the Bible. The Bible teaches (Matt.6:9 our Father in heaven. Don't you agree? The Bible teaches (Gal.4:28) Jerusalem 'above' is our mother. There is no interpretation needed. Jerusalem is our mother!! How amazing!!! We have both A Father and A Mother!! We are no longer orphans we can now be true children of God! Does not Children come from both parents?! 2 Corinthians 6:18....you will be my sons and daughter's says the LORD Almighty. Father is used A lot because just as an earthly father is head of the household, so too our Heavenly Father is head of all! That doesn't mean His wife, our Mother does not exist. Please don't give up studying. I see everyone comes to this gentleman directly but he doesn't practice what he preaches. He himself doesn't believe that Jesus is God. It’s been a while since I’ve listened to this video :) I’m thankful for God for providing the information to let go and to comfort me, I’m truly thankful. I also learned that day that people can use the bible against you. Jesus only said that he is the way the truth and the life so it has never said that there was a God the mother.

Thank the Lord I came here. I just spoke to two gentlemen on my college campus (no longer a student but still work on campus) and they approached me with this non-sense. They were super nice guys and I let them explain their reasoning to me, but they were flipping through the bible frantically to prove their points. I was nice and went along with them, but I am glad I listened to my gut that this was total BS and look this stuff up myself! Be careful folks, there are people in the world who will corrupt the bible for their own ends! If anything this has inspired me to read more of my bible to arm myself against these people.
Yes, that happened to me too! Just recently two girls came on my college campus pretending to be theology students who would need some help for their presentation but in fact it was a scam and only one of their strategies to get more members...

I got into a conversation with three people who believe in this at my school one time, I asked them where it says once in the Bible that God is described in a feminine way or anywhere where the Bible alludes to a "God the mother" and they use Galatians 4:26 and take it fully out of context, and at the beginning of Genesis when God says "Let us make man in our image" and a verse from Revelation. Totally sad

I was totally shocked when they started to talk about you must believe in the mother God. I said what? Yes, what they r teaching are a total heresies, total occult movement. They were debating many topics with me too. I thank God that I am planted deeply in the Word of God. At the same time, I am also so upset that they have put the name of God in shamed and misled/trapped/tricked people esp those still young in Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, those who hardly read the scripture, those who is still outside the Kingdom of God......Total cult, paganism rearing it head. I have to warn my church brothers' & sisters'about these WMSCOG blinded ppl who thinks that they are right and pure. Hello! I'm from Singapore and recently i came into contact with people from this specific cult and ironically i just came from an event in my own church before meeting them. At first, like you said in the video, asked if i had known the teaching of 'God the mother' and i said no, because logically i read the Bible, and it was never mentioned. Then they started preaching to me about the whole 'God the mother' teaching, they mentioned the exact same things you said in the video, how 'if God created man in the image of God, if there's one for man, there must be one for women' or 'it requires both a man and woman to form life, so in theory, there must be a God the mother'. Initially, i thought it was quite logical. However, as they kept preaching at me, i just couldn't believe what they were saying because as many examples and thought provoking questions they asked, i just kept thinking how in the Bible, the disciples never once mentioned 'mother God' and i just couldn't understand why they needed to flip from book to book to prove their point. If she were true, it would be clearly stated in passage and not cross referencing between books. And as i did more research about them, i found out that they believed that this 'God the mother' was the founder's second wife(?) might be wrong and that was it, i knew how wrong it was and i couldn't believe i came into contact with a group of people who worshipped a PERSON.
These people would not fool me because I have read cover to cover several times over many years.....im reminded where Jesus said "my sheep know my voice and a stranger they will not follow".......i encourage everyone to read cover to cover the bible for themselves multiple times.....my favorite is the KJV but use what you prefer....get the word down deep inside you....the last days are upon us and your bible is your most precious possession. I think there will be a time when bibles are hard to come by.....guard and cherish yours.
In my city there is a warning about this cult because they’ve been preying on young girls and some have gone missing. Someone last month actually approached me before I knew who they were and we started talking. I’m Jewish so I didn’t really mind talking to her about whatever interpretation of God she had. Then she tried to get me to leave the mall with her to a cafe across the street and I got a little weirded out as she was just some random Korean girl... needless to say I’m happy I didn’t go because I could have been one of the next girls to go missing.

They talked about PASSOVER first, they asked if i know about PASSOEVER, i said YES. And they want to elaborate more if i will have at least 30minutes of my time to have a bible study with them. At first, i'm so excited. Because i want to know more about the BIBLE. And the days went long, i was BAPTIZED in this church from the first time i visited their church. and i cannot even say NO, it seems i was Hypnotized. And i started to attend this Church and even have Bible Study with them from time to time. As it went deeper, i've realized that there is something wrong about their Doctrines because of GOD THE MOTHER and CHRIST AHN SANG HEONG they are trying to teach me. And know, i want to get out of this Church. But i dont know HOW 😭 They know my House Address and even my Workplace. Sometimes, if i don't want to attend their service and their bible study, they just come and visit my house and my workplace just to asked me what happened to me.. Also, remember all "Christian" cults seem to use the Bible but twist it to fit their doctrines. They often use the "if...then" logic. Example, "IF Jesus is God THEN Mary is the mother of God." "IF God is the Father there must be God the mother". Colossians 2 brings this out. They take the Bible out of context and add their own doctrines and logic. They are crafty and cunning. Most even challenge the Bible itself. Always remember the devil's first deceptive question "Did God really say?" (Genesis 3). While they appear to follow the Bible, they always challenge it. Lastly, all cults claim you can only be saved in their beliefs or church
I have never been to the world mission society church of god for about two years now. No one really influenced me to slowly drift away from that church nor looked for reasons to do so. My intuition was just to really leave because there is something wrong. Like they only care for what you do/give to the church, they don't really care about you and would just invalidate your feelings. The terms "fear" and "guilt" are my best description on how they would make you feel once you're in that church. I'm glad i found this on my recommendations, thank you for making this video mike. I don't have to feel guilty anymore for leaving.
My sister is part of the Jenkintown, PA church. It's so hard talking to them about the true Good Word. They treat every conversation like a sales pitch, running their mouths a mile a minute without letting you get any questions in. I pray that my sister and her family find that they're following false and blasphemic teachings.

Awesome video! One other huge point that I didn't hear in your video, one of their strongest "proofs" in scripture is directly refuted in scripture just 2 verses earlier: Galatians 4:26. Paul goes out of his way to call out verse 26 as an allegory, but they totally ignore that, take it out of context and take it literally. The Bible couldn't be more clear yet they distort the word of God. Galatians 4:24-26 New International Version (NIV) 24 These things are being taken figuratively: The women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25 Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26 But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.
Galatians 4:26. Proverbs 8:22. Heavenly Mother forgive them, for they know not what they do! For those who seek Wisdom, knowledge and understanding will find her.

Acts 17: 10-11! I was so late in life coming to this realization: the only way to avoid being deceived is to know what the scriptures say. I am praying this verse for all of my out-going Bible study group (whose names I know) and for my incoming group who I will meet in September. I used to wonder if I would ever have discernment, but I find that the better I know scripture, the better I can detect and deflect the lie. Thank you for your teaching of the Word. I enjoyed doing Romans with you this year as well as with my Bible study group. And I so appreciated your focus on Chapter 16. Everyone keeps singing "unity" (and it IS in there), but I wanted my group to see that we ARE to call out the false teachers, and if it creates disunity, it is on the false teaching and not the one who calls it out. I have not heard of this group, but if it's false, TH-cam will side with the lie. (It's just additional confirmation!!!)
My friend and i was attacked by this 'religion' in different times. They're always outside of our campus with some korean women asking other students if they know mother god. I always tell them i am busy so they won't bother me but sadly my friend gave her number and they always bug her calling her even though we have class or we are doing our case studies. She changed her number and they never bugged her again.

I'm really glad that I found your channel. I briefly encountered this group b/c I was seeking a church in a new city. I attended one 1-on-1 meeting with one of the teachers to understand this church & it just didn't make any sense to me. I just wasn't receiving the same "revelations" that this person was in regards to "god the mother." I never returned. Most recently, I just left my last church b/c the pastor stated that he "supports" all religions and how they find their way to God. This was a bit too problematic for me b/c he included religions that do not believe in Jesus (like Buddhism) , which is the foundation of Christianity. So now, I'm just seeing how far I've gotten away from Christian principles and heading back to the truth, unapologetically. Again, I'm glad to have found your channel.

What as it says in the Bible, is Christ divided? @ David Smith - I believe, and have always believed, in the 2nd coming of Christ. This is the reason why "the mother" doesn't make sense to me. You are clearly under the "God the Mother" belief system. I have not read any scripture that supports that.
Hey you do not seek for a church yet and try focusing on God by praying to him and listen to his voice and he will send you someone to lead you to the right church. Remember God searches the heart of all human souls and the souls who desires his ways, God will make sure he will lead you to the right people.

How does one relate to another individual unless one has an idea of who one is communicating with? Another thing, the self reference to "us" as God makes a decision about how He wants to create human beings, may well be a revelation of God as a trinity - The Father God Almighty, His Son whom we call Jesus (the Word through Whom all was made - see John 1), and the Holy Spirit Who gave power to the disciples to do wonders in furtherance of the great message.
I was at a grocery store and was approached my a man about bible studying. Moving back to my hometown I did not go to church but was eager for a Bible study. He was asking me about Passover and sabbath so we did a study. Then he spoke about heavenly mother and ahnsonhong. I was taken back about it and was left confused yet hopeful about it. It’s when he talked about heavenly mother I began to question it. No verse really said anything about her nor have I ever heard about it or Christ coming back a second time. I would ask more questions and he would say we’ll study more on a later date. Him and his wife mean good and are very nice people and they welcomed me into their house church but I never truly felt the holy spirit there. Not even in their bigger church in bigger cities. They are constantly doing charity work and stuff which is good, but seems like they are trying to show that they are a better church through it. I’ve watched all of your videos and could not agree more with the scriptures you used to disprove the ones they use. He used Matthew 24 to show we should watch out for these false prophets and I could not help but think about this false prophet he was trying to shove down my throat. I got baptized there and I really regret it. I thank you so much for your videos for you have saved me from more of this deception. So he's using analogies to defeat there analogies and he doesn't even believe Jesus is God and he can't mention who is the female image among the trinity. I knew there was something bogus about this religion. I was at the ER with my daughter and mom. While we were waiting in the lobby, there was a lady who was coughing and my mother gave her an an open bottle of something to drink. Then we left and she ran out to find us to say thank you and quickly mentioned if we had heard about God the mother. My mother looked at her and said no and then she mention several books of The Bible where it is mentioned. Immediately I was skeptical because I know bible but I didn't feel like debating and arguing with her. In other words, the earliest founding members of His Church and those that succeeded them after that down through the corridors of time. It is His Church that was given to "know the mysteries" of the kingdom of heaven. Yes, the *original* Church. The one started by Jesus in 33 AD. Wmscog came too late to be the true Church, I am sorry to say, but it's the truth. Both scripture and history testifies to this truth. Wmscog cannot deny this truth. My husband has taken the atheist stand but he was raised hard core mormon. I have come to Christ and watch these videos to keep learning more about The real truth! Hi Pastor Mike, Thanks for this teaching. I had a knock on my door from the actual person in their videos here in Australia. I had never heard of them before and the moment he said mother God I was turned off. He went to the scripture in your teaching with me and then quoted the scripture about Jesus being wonderful councilor everlasting father to try to tell me that Jesus is the father who came down and then that Jerusalem is the mother's name etc . I told him he is twisting scripture and that they have been brain washed by some cult leader. I told him that I wanted the church name and his name and I wanted to challenge their teaching. He told me he is not going to give me either but told me I am going to hell. He walked away from me after that. After he left I did a search on mother God and was surprised to see the Korean guy in the TH-cam videos was the actual person I talked to way down here in Melbourne, Australia. He's down under trying to recruit new members to his cult. I would have been better equipped if I eatched this teaching before but the first thing that entered my mind was that, this is promoting a pagan teaching and rejected it. I tried to tell him the the bride of Christ is the church but he refused and rejected it and told me that he knows of that standard church teaching. He has sure been brain washed but now I'm thinking of creating a tract and letter dropping it in my area warning people as he would have gone to all the homes in my area. I just had the longest conversation with these guys today. Not the first time I have run into them. They used all these scriptures that you have discussed and they used all types of ways to justify their position.

I literally met them at a Wal-Mart for the first time this past Sunday. Never knew such existed. The lady walked up to me to witness. I notice the men lingers not too far and allow the lady to do the job like Jehovah witnesses. She used 3 chapters Galatians 4:26, Revelation 21:9 and 22:17. I went back and forth with her for a bit but I was at Wal-Mart for something important so I couldn't go indepth with her. So i asked for her number but she gave me their websites. I checked their site and what I saw there was wild. I went looking for her at the store to get her number in hope to have further discussion with her and whoever she wants to bring along. So I'm doing my due diligence and came across your videos and i couldn't be more glad that one of the few reliable voice on TH-cam uni has reacted on this 5yrs ago. Yay!
This is helpful. I'm from the Philippines, and they have reached us, our city. Just last week I had an encounter with them, and I was really shocked on how they interpreted the Words from the Bible, it's really off, the god the mother they are claiming. And during my encounter with them, I said no and mentioned the Trinity but again they will repeat and repeat the few verses stating the word "mother". And after that they mentioned the bride of Jesus Christ in His second coming, and there they go again with their "god the mother". And so I said that the bride refers to the Church, to the Believers. And that ended our conversation. But again I encountered them again together with my friend, and this time they added that the Second coming already took place. And my friend and I were again both shocked at their claims, and of course we explained that what the Bible says about the Second Coming, which is contradictory to their claims, and again they refer to few verses mentioning the word "mother" and "New Jerusalem",which were taken out of context. It's really sad. I told my sister and mother about this and my sister said that indeed it is false teaching, cult, and my mother said to just pray for them. And another friend of mine said to never argue with them, to just be patient. You'll never know, maybe during our encounter with them on their "survey" as they say, we'll be able to enlighten them, to share them the Truth, the Way, and the Life -- Jesus Christ
Please ask them if they have ever eaten the flesh or drank the blood of Jesus Christ and that it is the only way to see God so the Bible says and that it says you must do this to ever have met God, ask them how they did this?
I’m here watching this because two women walked up to me at Walmart, from this church and told me about “God the mother” which I have never heard of as a Christian. They basically said that the bride of the lamb is mother God… which if you read the Bible you would know they use the word bride because of how the holy city is prepared is as if a bride prepares for her groom.. they said you have to also know God the mother to be able to enter heaven…. I’m so glad I came home and read revelation for myself and that the lord gave me discernment over this.

Most of the money they collect from you, is to grow the commercial real estate portfolio. They hide behind propaganda and cleaning campaigns that make them look good to governments and create a facade. They are wolves in Sheep clothing, chameleons. Proverbs 8:30 specifically notes that Jesus (which is actually speaking in these verses ) was the craftsman at his father's side (God the Father) meaning that Jesus has been with God since the very beginning. Through Jesus God created everything else so the "Let Us" in genesis refers to Jesus and not mother God. Another verse that contradicts a mother God 1 Corinthians 8:6 : Yet for us there is but ONE God, the FATHER who all things came from and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live here it says there is only ONE God- and it is referred to as the FATHER (notice not God the mother, but God the father and he is the only ONE God)

I had my first encounter with this group a few weeks ago (in México) and as soon as I heard "mother god" I was skeptical, they started to tell me what "the bible says" and I was amazed by how they just concluded that because there's is a "wife" that's the "mother". The whole bible gives testimony of Jesus Christ as the son of God, not just a few verses.
I just encountered them last 2 hours and honestly it's my first time hearing those strange teachings. I go over to our town and wherever I am I always have some gospel tracts with me. I approached them first, and I gave it to them, I'm still 18 and tge three of them are in their 30 's. Little did I know they're also at that plaxe to hand out pamphlets. They shared to me. First their "god the mother" and that salvation is through passover alone. That I am an ex angel. And that there is still chance in heaven for those who weren't able to hear the gospel. After that I did my turn and they are answering at me jokingly. They told. me that the meaning of grace is the passover. And I praise God for protecting me. And now I'm here to do some research.
I talk to them yesterday... they also stress about Passover feast as a must for acquiring salvation. They don't stress on faith in Jesus and repentance
I’ve had an old school friend sit me down for a convo about this but it didn’t sit well with my spirit. I let him flip thru the Bible to prove his points but it still didn’t feel right. I spoke with this group about 6 years ago. I carry a lot of conviction about my faith in Jesus Christ. I was raised in truth and studied the Bible yet this group almost had me convinced of their lies.
After speaking with them for like three ours in a library I felt myself becoming convinced and I told the man that I could not jump into a new faith. I promised him that I would go and pray and if what he said was true that God would show himself to me and show me His true nature.
As I promised I went and prayed and this verse was brought to me.
"And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
Jesus is the only name that was clearly given in all of the Bible that salvation is given. Though this battle for my faith scared me, I was made stronger through it. I pray for those who are new or facing weakness in their faith that you pray and read the Bible before jumping in with this group. God has revealed Himself and his true Nature to us clearly and he will continue to do so as long as you seek Him out.

I honestly feel deceived. I cried for forgiveness to their God. I truly believed their teachings. they usually were able to answer questions I had and would refer to the bible to make their statements seem more believable. You are not supposed question their teachings either because of this fact. When you are in an environment where everyone believes but you it does something to you. the peer pressure is unreal as well. I tried to leave multiple times and they would come over to my house, see me on campus and try to talk to me. It got so bad I almost got a restraining order on them. I could only take it for so long. This was my first religion and I dont know when I'll join another. So grateful I found this video.

Jesus doesn’t want you to practice another religion, He wants to give you His gift of Salvation and becoming your Lord and Savior. He already paid the price on the cross and wants to be there through everything you go through.
I have been through so, so many things both amazing and horrible but it only made me realize how much I need Him and how much He makes sure all works out for good for those that love God.
I was deceived by my parents first. They went to church and pretended to be Christian all while going to Satanic rituals and meeting me and practicing witchcraft. Then my church as teen turned crazy because everyone got prideful after God used some teens to lay hands on blind and deaf and sick people and the Holy Spirit healed them. Those involved and doing good were persecuted and lied about.
I also was led to go to a certain college and met my school major professor and his wife and got to see real, honest Christianity at play.... with it’s ups and downs and mistakes with forgiveness and redemption/salvation being worked out because their hearts were seeking God through their weaknesses.
I have been blessed because I never gave in and gave up, even through jaded cynical attitude that eventually left once I began to age and trust God more and more.
I am married to a strong, yet imperfect follower of Christ and we have 4 living kids (one stillborn son is in heaven) and God has always made sure we have provision and are protected because we love God and won’t bend our morals or fit in even with a church. We have left or been asked to leave a few that turn weird like above or stop preaching the truth in the Bible.
This is going to keep happening more and more. Your faith has to become planted in Christ and in His Word alone so when people do awful things, because they will, you can dust off your shoes and trust God will stay with you and it’s not you, it’s them...

No. When the Bible talks about the church it is talking about the body of Christ i.e. other believers. Going to church building is important for fellowship and teaching.
I've attended independent Bible and Baptist churches. Currently we attend a church that has the name "Presbyterian" on the building. It is not, however, part of the liberal main line Presbyterian church.

Just talked to a guy tonight in the grocery store for about an hour from this cult. He was witnessing to my wife and I. We knew what he was teaching was crazy. After researching their church, it's actually crazier than I even thought in the store! Thanks for posting this video. This provides some direct places to go in scripture to refute their teaching. I pray that Holy Spirit would open the eyes of those stuck in this heresy as they read the Bible, and that Christians would be able to help show in the scriptures who God really is!

same exact thing happened to me for about an hour in Walmart. I gave it a shot because everything was reverted back to the Bible. How could they be lying right?
Well 4 Bible studies later it’s time to teach about the cross and I stayed with them for service. My spirit was torn the whole time but I played it off. They kept taking many pictures and videos of me.
1) I always thought the silent prayer thing is odd
2) God the mother? I literally was not able to utter that out my mouth
3) After the first time I did service with them I was awake around 1 in the morning and I saw a dark figure head down pass by my room. I saw it clearly but did not want to believe or know if it was bad or good so I just called out for Jesus and continued watching my movie. The next morning I felt the need to do some research and one of the members said she knew me I had completely forgot about her but remember when I was in high shill she tried to talk to me about this like forcefully even in the bathroom.
Whenever I’m drifting or start finding myself lost facades of God comes around me and I don’t do research but I thank God for burdening me with this. Im in shock but at peace God loves me too much and this is another testimony of how highly favored I am. I pray he opens everyones eyes. Thank you Jesus.

About 7 years ago, I almost got sucked into this group and after days of just trying to think, read the Bible, and discuss this with family, I stopped attending Bible studies at this church. Hello, thank you for this video. I was baptized when i was 6 or 7. Bore tons of fruits ( i pray i didn't commit spiritual murder) led my own group and was studying with adults before any of my classmates.. Passed tons of chapters and was so proud. I never intended to go to college because i thought father was going to come by then.. When i was about 15 or 16 i began to realize how tormented i was and left. How i was taught to argue LITERALLY for like a month straight it was our focus. We gave so much money over those 9 years. And my mom went to korea to meet "nee jerusalem mother. I was tge student of a teacher who eventually exposed the church. And it raised questions that eventually drove me crazy... I got prego and studied so hard.. Went to college religion based classes and had to re learn every holiday and had to recover from serious depression. I had to kick them out of walmart, kingsoopers and even a dry cleaners i worked at. They followed me to every job i had! It was embarrassing and humiliating . im still looking for answers and seeing this video took a load off! (Venting because LITERALLY nobody could understand anything i just said lol)

Thank you so much, Mike! I was approached yesterday by some women in Wal-Mart who were trying to get me to go to their "Bible Study." When I said I already have a group, they revealed that they wanted me to come so that they could tell me about Mother God. I explained that I believe it is unbiblical, but they persisted in their beliefs and tried to use scriptures to back themselves up. Of course, it all broke down with context, but they were stubborn. I had to leave them in their deception. I want to be more prepared in case I meet them (or anyone from this group) again. This was helpful for that. 😊

Tonight was the first time I came across this new belief and when I told the woman who approached me that I needed to research it more myself and that her scriptures weren't lining up with what she was saying she just told me that I didn't know God and that I wasn't actually saved because I didn't believe in mother God. In the Bible, Adam and Eve are referred to as ‘man’ in the Bible because they became one flesh even though they are two people(Gen 2:24).
The main concept of God the Mother existing is because God refers to himself as “us”(Gen 1:26)
‘Us’ and ‘our’ are plural terms for more than one
In this instance, only God is speaking but he refers to himself as ‘us’
When God created mankind in his image, he created two images; Male and Female (Gen1:27)
So we are humans created in God’s image and likeness
Therefore when we are made in the image of God then there must be an original image(God) to be able to make a copy (humans)

This clearly says that Adam was made in God's image. After creating Adam he created Eve as a being who was suitable for being Adam's helper, she was not created in the image of God in and of herself but she was in the image of a female Adam and in that way she is in the image of God that is to say that she would be created in the image of God if God were female.
Also there are only 3 persons of God clearly seen in scripture, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
No mother is ever mentioned, and if there was a mother Mary would have never needed to give birth to Jesus.
Quite frankly it sounds a lot like what Catholics believe about Mary, they say she was born without a father like Jesus.

In Gen. 1:26, that's God telling his heavenly host, "Let's do such and such," even as God himself is the prime mover. It's analogous to when a parent is driving in the car with his or her kids, and tells the kids, "Hey kids, let's go get some ice cream." The kids are acknowledged but the kids themselves are not empowered to do anything to cause that goal to occur.
I believe the "us" is pertaining to the holy trinity of God, which is God the Father, the Son and the holy spirit. Just as the bible says, God himself created all things, and no other pre existing things was involved in the creation cuz God himself is the Most High, Power, no other thing could compare to him, thus there is no need for any assistance or whatsoever.
I actually attended a service on a Saturday where the pastor literally refuted the " queen of heaven" argument by saying, and I quote " heavenly mother is the real queen of heaven" and " the bible was referring to a fake queen of heaven". The members were applauding, I could not believe my ears. How blind/ deaf or ignorant can one really be? the book of Jeremiah makes no distinction between a real and fake queen of heaven, it's the same thing and it provokes God to anger.

Paul in Galatians 4:26 writes ALLEGORICALLY or FIGURATIVELY that Heavenly Jerusalem, in the same way that Sarah is the mother of all who are under the new covenant, is the mother (as in the mother city) of all those who are under this new covenant. Where as those who are under the law (law of Sabbath, Law of Circumcision, Law of religious holy days like you) are Hagar’s children. Children who cannot be part of the heavenly Jerusalem and those who cannot be part of the wedding of the Lamb as the righteous bride of the Lamb. If you don’t believe me, read what Ahnsanghong wrote in his book where he disapproved I of the idea of a god the mother and those who worship her. He eluded to a punishment that awaits her and her followers.

I was curious to what she was going to say because she wanted to prove it through the Bible. She read from Genesis and from Revelation. I told her she needed to read the whole passage in the Bible not just those parts. She has to read it all. All she kept saying was ok, ok, ok. Like she didn't want to continue with the conversation. I said thank you for sharing and I walked away and finished shopping. I always wondered what group that lady was with. Now, I see. Thanks.
Really appreciate this video! I had a woman stop me in the grocery store and say just that: "Have you heard of God the Mother?" She only used the verses from Revelation, and I knew I should tell her that the bride was the Church, but I felt bad because I didn't have specific verses like she did. Thank you for your content!
This just happened to me today at a Wal-Mart, but they were calling her "Holy Mother". One verse from Genesis, a couple from Revelation about Jerusalem being the bride, and the bride bringing salvation to us, so as to say the bride is not the church, but rather a seperate actual bride helping bring salvation to us.

I just went to a Bible Study today, had no idea what it was about or what the church was even called. Then when I got there they started talking about this mother stuff and even though I knew it was wrong, the way they laughed at me everytime I said something to refute their statements made me really question if it was true. I instantly went to prayer after leaving the church and asked God to reveal the truth to me. I then read some of the scriptures that you quoted and yes, they still use these same exact verses to defend their false teachings. Realizing that they took basically every verse out of context made me realize it was too farfetched and that their whole belief is based on false assumptions. I also found it weird that the whole study was targeted on the "mother" yet not one minute was really about Jesus' death and Resurrection for our sins it was more them trying to tie Jesus into the idea of the "mother* and only bringing Him up when I would try to refute the pastor, it was a private Bible study amongst just the pastor, myself, and one other. In other words it wasn't a normal church service and they did give me chances to ask questions and were surprisingly open to my questions even though they are so set on this idea. I feel like coming to this video was just a top off of my prayer to God asking Him to reveal the truth to me. I know this is an old video but it is still relevant today and was a great help of assuring myself that I was right all along and they may have laughed at me then but I'm scared for them and may go back to the church to bring more challenging questions now that I know more about it, in hopes of helping those there that lack basic biblical knowledge. I met with a couple members of this group yesterday to discuss their doctrine and they presented their case in EXACTLY the way you just described; they used the same verses and said the same things. I realized they take Scripture out of context by ignoring surrounding verses and omitting or redefining certain words. When they read you a verse, tell them to read the verses preceding and following the one they’re trying to use so as to capture the correct context - it totally changes the point they’re trying to make.
If it wasn’t blasphemous then they would not be upset! This is just GAIA repackaged! This is the Queen of Heaven , Blessed Virgin Mary, Isis , Ishtar, Asherah, etc. All you have to do is read about how angry the Lord is about the Queen of Heaven!

I was approached this week by one of these members who invited me to a seminar. When I asked them their core beliefs they were very vague. I started researching my own based on the flyer they sent me. Immediately, I recognized how they twisted the scripture. It is scary that people are believing this. Thank you for bringing the true gospel to light. I'm praying someone is helped by this and realizes that this group is spreading false teachings.
They told me something similar, stating that they don't align in any particular way (no catholic/protestant kind of alignment she meant), which is super confusing for someone like me who's searching. I thought their name already sounded odd, and my suspicions were confirmed by videos like this. I simply don't know yet what the Bible teaches, so whatever they say can sound true to me. :/

Then the day came, these guys approached me and as i listened to their teachings i have this odd sense of feeling that they teach and present. And me as christian who studies every religion and the bible more intimately was almost got decieved and i told them on my last conversation. “I will research about this, because we are at the last days and its expected that false churches shall arise”. And i thank this channel for informing me this, i am actually almost done watching the video because im at the same time taking down notes because im gonna refute those guys. Thank God he gave me you. I was actually praying to God after that conversation that “God will you lead me to the right path where the truth hides” and God is great he gave me the answer. @@elmohuaerte6082 us is referring to the trinity. Father Son and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1 the father gives the creation commands. 1:2 Spirit hovers over creation. John 1:3 the son does the manual labor. 1:27 created in HIS own image. Reflection of his character. He created Adam not birthed. Doesn't mention anything about giving birth. See Isaiah 44:24 alone and by himself. Genesis 1:31 HE saw everything he made.

Father is used A lot because just as an earthly father is head of the household, so too our Heavenly Father is head of all! That doesn't mean His wife, our Mother does not exist. And to add, II Corinthians 6:18 does not even reference "mother" God, it seems like you COG people always read scripture through the lenses of your agenda not through the lenses of the Holy Spirit. Thank the Lord I came here. I just spoke to two gentlemen on my college campus (no longer a student but still work on campus) and they approached me with this non-sense. They were super nice guys and I let them explain their reasoning to me, but they were flipping through the bible frantically to prove their points. I was nice and went along with them, but I am glad I listened to my gut that this was total BS and look this stuff up myself! Be careful folks, there are people in the world who will corrupt the bible for their own ends! If anything this has inspired me to read more of my bible to arm myself against these people.

I was totally shocked when they started to talk about you must believe in the mother God. I said what? Yes, what they r teaching are a total heresies, total occult movement. They were debating many topics with me too. I thank God that I am planted deeply in the Word of God. At the same time, I am also so upset that they have put the name of God in shamed and misled/trapped/tricked people esp those still young in Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, those who hardly read the scripture, those who is still outside the Kingdom of God......Total cult, paganism rearing it head. I have to warn my church brothers' & sisters'about these WMSCOG blinded ppl who thinks that they are right and pure. Hello! I'm from Singapore and recently i came into contact with people from this specific cult and ironically i just came from an event in my own church before meeting them. At first, like you said in the video, asked if i had known the teaching of 'God the mother' and i said no, because logically i read the Bible, and it was never mentioned. Then they started preaching to me about the whole 'God the mother' teaching, they mentioned the exact same things you said in the video, how 'if God created man in the image of God, if there's one for man, there must be one for women' or 'it requires both a man and woman to form life, so in theory, there must be a God the mother'. Initially, i thought it was quite logical. However, as they kept preaching at me, i just couldn't believe what they were saying because as many examples and thought provoking questions they asked, i just kept thinking how in the Bible, the disciples never once mentioned 'mother God' and i just couldn't understand why they needed to flip from book to book to prove their point. If she were true, it would be clearly stated in passage and not cross referencing between books. And as i did more research about them, i found out that they believed that this 'God the mother' was the founder's second wife(?) might be wrong and that was it, i knew how wrong it was and i couldn't believe i came into contact with a group of people who worshipped a PERSON.

In my city there is a warning about this cult because they’ve been preying on young girls and some have gone missing. Someone last month actually approached me before I knew who they were and we started talking. I’m Jewish so I didn’t really mind talking to her about whatever interpretation of God she had. Then she tried to get me to leave the mall with her to a cafe across the street and I got a little weirded out as she was just some random Korean girl... needless to say I’m happy I didn’t go because I could have been one of the next girls to go missing.

And they want to elaborate more if i will have at least 30minutes of my time to have a bible study with them.
At first, i'm so excited. Because i want to know more about the BIBLE.
And the days went long, i was BAPTIZED in this church from the first time i visited their church. and i cannot even say NO, it seems i was Hypnotized.

Sometimes, if i don't want to attend their service and their bible study, they just come and visit my house and my workplace just to asked me what happened to me..

Also, remember all "Christian" cults seem to use the Bible but twist it to fit their doctrines. They often use the "if...then" logic. Example, "IF Jesus is God THEN Mary is the mother of God." "IF God is the Father there must be God the mother". Colossians 2 brings this out. They take the Bible out of context and add their own doctrines and logic. They are crafty and cunning.
Most even challenge the Bible itself. Always remember the devil's first deceptive question "Did God really say?" (Genesis 3). While they appear to follow the Bible, they always challenge it.
Lastly, all cults claim you can only be saved in their beliefs or church
I have never been to the world mission society church of god for about two years now. No one really influenced me to slowly drift away from that church nor looked for reasons to do so. My intuition was just to really leave because there is something wrong. Like they only care for what you do/give to the church, they don't really care about you and would just invalidate your feelings. The terms "fear" and "guilt" are my best description on how they would make you feel once you're in that church. I'm glad i found this on my recommendations, thank you for making this video mike. I don't have to feel guilty anymore for leaving.

Awesome video! One other huge point that I didn't hear in your video, one of their strongest "proofs" in scripture is directly refuted in scripture just 2 verses earlier: Galatians 4:26.
Paul goes out of his way to call out verse 26 as an allegory, but they totally ignore that, take it out of context and take it literally. The Bible couldn't be more clear yet they distort the word of God.

Acts 17: 10-11! I was so late in life coming to this realization: the only way to avoid being deceived is to know what the scriptures say. I am praying this verse for all of my out-going Bible study group (whose names I know) and for my incoming group who I will meet in September. I used to wonder if I would ever have discernment, but I find that the better I know scripture, the better I can detect and deflect the lie. Thank you for your teaching of the Word. I enjoyed doing Romans with you this year as well as with my Bible study group. And I so appreciated your focus on Chapter 16. Everyone keeps singing "unity" (and it IS in there), but I wanted my group to see that we ARE to call out the false teachers, and if it creates disunity, it is on the false teaching and not the one who calls it out. My friend and i was attacked by this 'religion' in different times. They're always outside of our campus with some korean women asking other students if they know mother god. I always tell them i am busy so they won't bother me but sadly my friend gave her number and they always bug her calling her even though we have class or we are doing our case studies. She changed her number and they never bugged her again.

I'm really glad that I found your channel. I briefly encountered this group b/c I was seeking a church in a new city. I attended one 1-on-1 meeting with one of the teachers to understand this church & it just didn't make any sense to me. I just wasn't receiving the same "revelations" that this person was in regards to "god the mother." I never returned.
Most recently, I just left my last church b/c the pastor stated that he "supports" all religions and how they find their way to God. This was a bit too problematic for me b/c he included religions that do not believe in Jesus (like Buddhism) , which is the foundation of Christianity. So now, I'm just seeing how far I've gotten away from Christian principles and heading back to the truth, unapologetically. Again, I'm glad to have found your channel.

I was at a grocery store and was approached my a man about bible studying. Moving back to my hometown I did not go to church but was eager for a Bible study. He was asking me about Passover and sabbath so we did a study. Then he spoke about heavenly mother and ahnsonhong. I was taken back about it and was left confused yet hopeful about it. It’s when he talked about heavenly mother I began to question it. No verse really said anything about her nor have I ever heard about it or Christ coming back a second time. I would ask more questions and he would say we’ll study more on a later date. Him and his wife mean good and are very nice people and they welcomed me into their house church but I never truly felt the holy spirit there. Not even in their bigger church in bigger cities. They are constantly doing charity work and stuff which is good, but seems like they are trying to show that they are a better church through it. I’ve watched all of your videos and could not agree more with the scriptures you used to disprove the ones they use. He used Matthew 24 to show we should watch out for these false prophets and I could not help but think about this false prophet he was trying to shove down my throat. I got baptized there and I really regret it. I thank you so much for your videos for you have saved me from more of this deception. Hi Pastor Mike, Thanks for this teaching. I had a knock on my door from the actual person in their videos here in Australia. I had never heard of them before and the moment he said mother God I was turned off. He went to the scripture in your teaching with me and then quoted the scripture about Jesus being wonderful councilor everlasting father to try to tell me that Jesus is the father who came down and then that Jerusalem is the mother's name etc . I told him he is twisting scripture and that they have been brain washed by some cult leader. I told him that I wanted the church name and his name and I wanted to challenge their teaching. He told me he is not going to give me either but told me I am going to hell. He walked away from me after that. After he left I did a search on mother God and was surprised to see the Korean guy in the TH-cam videos was the actual person I talked to way down here in Melbourne, Australia. He's down under trying to recruit new members to his cult. I would have been better equipped if I eatched this teaching before but the first thing that entered my mind was that, this is promoting a pagan teaching and rejected it. I literally met them at a Wal-Mart for the first time this past Sunday. Never knew such existed. The lady walked up to me to witness. Just last week I had an encounter with them, and I was really shocked on how they interpreted the Words from the Bible, it's really off, the god the mother they are claiming. And during my encounter with them, I said no and mentioned the Trinity but again they will repeat and repeat the few verses stating the word "mother". And after that they mentioned the bride of Jesus Christ in His second coming, and there they go again with their "god the mother". And so I said that the bride refers to the Church, to the Believers. And that ended our conversation. But again I encountered them again together with my friend, and this time they added that the Second coming already took place. And my friend and I were again both shocked at their claims, and of course we explained that what the Bible says about the Second Coming, which is contradictory to their claims, and again they refer to few verses mentioning the word "mother" and "New Jerusalem",which were taken out of context. It's really sad. I told my sister and mother about this and my sister said that indeed it is false teaching, cult, and my mother said to just pray for them. And another friend of mine said to never argue with them, to just be patient. Proverbs 8:30 specifically notes that Jesus (which is actually speaking in these verses ) was the craftsman at his father's side (God the Father) meaning that Jesus has been with God since the very beginning. Through Jesus God created everything else so the "Let Us" in genesis refers to Jesus and not mother God.

here it says there is only ONE God- and it is referred to as the FATHER (notice not God the mother, but God the father and he is the only ONE God)

I met them yesterday and they approached me and i thought they were spreading the word of god but as they started talking they were talking about the god the mother and saying absurd things I just listened them and also asked some questions and later they tried to asked about my contacts and to meet again I just denied it and well it did shaked me a little bit as I have heard this things for the first time and later I searched about this and came across this video, thank you it really helped me clear some confusions that they gave me,God bless you brother.....
I found your video after I was approached in Target by two people asking me if I ever heard of God the mother. I politely listened to them for 1 minute. Then the woman tried to show me a video on her phone. I excused myself at that point. They asked me to read Galatians 4:26. My faith is solid, but i was curious if they were a feminist group or just con-artists. Thanks for the video!!
Yeah... Daniels prophecy (Daniel Chapter 2 & 7) along with Revelation 13:4-9 goes against you & your religion for following the Roman Catholic Churches origins AKA “The mother of all Churches” that Revelation 17:5 called, “The Mother of all prostitutes.” They kept Sunday service, idolism, abolished the Sabbath, Passover & would kill those who kept it which fulfills the prophecy of oppressing Gods Holy ones, Paganism (Christmas, Saint Valentines, Easter, Halloween, etc.) popes praying with their head covered and females with their head uncovered, statue praying, a Church that changed 2 Commandments, members showing up whenever thinking the Bible never says when to go to Church when it infact says “Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy”,*God would kill people multiple times for desecrating a Sabbath*, a Pope that says atheists and dogs can go to Heaven as if he’s God himself, Vicarius Filii Dei in Latin Numerals is 666 if the letters are added together and the Pope literally taught in a Church that looked like a snake inside & out. GOD BLESS YOU IM SO SORRY THAT YOU HAVE EYES BUT DO NOT SEE & EARS BUT DO NOT HEAR!!! No different than the Jews slandering publicly instead of bringing your thoughts & opinions to the Church.

I had my first encounter with this group a few weeks ago (in México) and as soon as I heard "mother god" I was skeptical, they started to tell me what "the bible says" and I was amazed by how they just concluded that because there's is a "wife" that's the "mother". The whole bible gives testimony of Jesus Christ as the son of God, not just a few verses.
I just encountered them last 2 hours and honestly it's my first time hearing those strange teachings. I go over to our town and wherever I am I always have some gospel tracts with me. I approached them first, and I gave it to them, I'm still 18 and tge three of them are in their 30 's. Little did I know they're also at that plaxe to hand out pamphlets. They shared to me. First their "god the mother" and that salvation is through passover alone. That I am an ex angel. And that there is still chance in heaven for those who weren't able to hear the gospel. After that I did my turn and they are answering at me jokingly. They told. me that the meaning of grace is the passover. And I praise God for protecting me. And now I'm here to do some research.
I talk to them yesterday... they also stress about Passover feast as a must for acquiring salvation. They don't stress on faith in Jesus and repentance
Awful. That's a complete twist of John 3:14 which defines out salvation in Jesus through faith.
My ex follows that religion. Glad I ended it within 3 and a half months. I cut all contact with him and his family
I’ve had an old school friend sit me down for a convo about this but it didn’t sit well with my spirit. I let him flip thru the Bible to prove his points but it still didn’t feel right. That’s why you have to do your own research after learning something. Be careful brothers and sisters and arm yourselves with the word. God bless.
