In Ip Man 3 it starts getting sad because Ip Man wife Wing Sing has cancer and so she wants him not to fight anymore and be there with her more because Ip Man has been busy meeting with other masters and she feels that they are distant from each other and plus during that fight the Muay Thai fighter was sent by Frank who plays Mike Tyson wanted the school however Ip Man stop all of his attempts from getting the school so he sent the Muay Thai fighter to take Ip Man out
While that's happening you also have the story with Cheung Tin Chi (aka Master Z from the fight with Michelle Yeoh and the 50 thugs in Ip Man Legacy and. Vs Batista) and how he wanted to become a Wing Chun Master but Ip Man is like the hurdle he HAS to overcome to be validated. But Cheung also has ties with Frank aka Tyson's character. If you do end up doing it, Ip Man vs Cheung Tin Chi is a HELL of a fight!
