Kinda like "after you", "as you will" or similar to en garde, have at thee or draw. If while drinking the host in some shows will also say Qing with a hand motion but it means please drink. Or if inviting someone in to a home they motion them to Qing meaning please come in.

I grew up watching the old black and white Chinese theater movies with English dubs and when I watched "IP Man" the 1st time I watched it with subtitles and original Cantonese language. It was beautiful. So I had to read, it showed me a good story & the emotions in their voices (even though it's a foreign language), brought a sense to the scene that the English versions cant convey.

donnie yen is a real fighter, i remember a old video on youtube maybe from the 90s? he was in the states at a dojo and the speed he kicks at a punching bag is the speed necessary in REAL combat, the speed people kick/punch in sparring is useless in a real fight. Donnie is so good at adapting he learnt wing chun off ipmans son for this film (i.e he doen't know wing chun in real life) although ip chun (ipmans son) wasn't the too happy because he said when fighting it would slip out of orthodox wingchun techniques
Donnie Yen did learn proper Wing Chun for the movie, and Ip Chun himself said Donnie even had managed to perfectly imitate some of the mannerisms of the real Ip Man
The translator they used is obviously NOT fluent in reading chinese and/or mandarin, I rather heard the actors own voices with english especially Donnie Yen because he is fluent along with Sammo Hung; I am pretty sure almost everyone in that scene can speak somewhat of english.
