what type of paper do you use for the calibrating? I used regular paper and it rippled. Did i do something wrong? Also it was difficult to remove from the mat because of tearing and leaving some pieces on the mat.
Thank you for your question. I did use printer paper but I also used a really used mat so it made it easier to take it off. Make sure you flip your mat over and bend the mat while you're pealing the paper off your mat. If you meant by it was tearing while it was cutting, perhaps try a 65 lb or even 80 lb cardstock and see if that helps. Keep in mind it has run through your printer. So make sure your printer can take that kind of weight. Lastly, if you're using the wrong blade or a brand new blade, that also can be the reason.
I can’t find many options in design space for iPad… sometimes I see tutorials like this and it definitely does not have the same settings, I can’t find the calibrate option 😢
I wish I could be more of a help when it comes to apple. I'm a PC/android user. I'm super surprised reading what you wrote because I feel that design space was built for apple because if you look at Cricuts videos, they are using iPads/apple products. I wish could more. :( maybe search design space using an iPad on TH-cam and see what shows.
Wait... Could you clarify, please? In settings, it stated the machines we can select. What do you mean by the venture?? It's listed. You don't have it. You have the Joy Xtra. I have the Venture, and I select it.
I just was just mentioning all the machines you can calibrate. So I selected the Joy Xtra because that's the machine I was calibrating. If you were trying to calibrate your Venture, then you would select Venture. Does that clarify, if not let me know. Maybe rephrase your question so I can better answer. I hope it does help.
So let me understand this. You calibrated your machine twice, and it cut perfect when you did the calibration? But when you go to do an actual clipart, it will not? There are so many areas I can speak to, but I need you to be more specific. Like what happens when you click make it? What does it do? Is not connecting to your printer? Like where does the issue begin?
So, I haven't had this issue, have you tried going to their website? Here's the link to troubleshoot it! :help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009426434-I-m-getting-an-error-that-the-machine-cannot-read-the-cut-sensor-marks Just scroll towards the bottom. Make sure you have good lighting. Let me know if any of this was helpful! I'm invested now!!!!
I have calibrated my explore several times...I rearrange too often lol. Love the print then cut! TFS💕
awe thanks!!!
This is so beautiful! Love the design!
Thank you so much
Got the machine but not used it as yet. Never did the print and cut. Pretty pattern
It's pretty nice!! I don't use it as much as I thought I would, but I love it. And, thank you :)

I can’t figure it out. I have collaborated it twice and it cuts perfect however, it will not let me print and cut.

So whenever I go to the print and cut, it tells me print then cut error. The machine cannot read the cut sensor marks.
