Been a Genesis fan since 1976 and have seen every concert up to their last Turn it on Again Tour in 2007 and that's how I want to remember Phil running around and dancing and just Genesis period. Don't get me wrong his voice still sounds great but just not the same. God bless Phil and thank you for 31 years of your talent and great concerts and memories.
I've been at their concert in Manchester the day after on Sept.25th...it was magic...wonderful music and Phil did his best to give us a great show...we bought the tickets before the pandemic and were in doubt whether to come from Italy or not...at the end it was the right decision and we had a very great time!
I'm Portuguese, I live in Mozambique and I'm watching and listening my favorite band ever. Unfortunately, I won't see them again and because of that, seeing and listening to them in my house in Mozambique is magical. Thank you for that! It will be all day... ;-)

Just saw them in Leeds last night and I must have got some sand in my eye somewhere!!!. The musicianship was off the chart and Phil seems to be happy which makes it even better
Saw them in Leeds on the 28th. Fabulous musicianship from all. Nic is a fabulous addition and a worthy successor to Phil on drums! The finest of real bands!

Phil. Excellent job. Saw them at Newcastle on the 1st October almost exactly the same position you filmed it from. Phil's voice is getting stronger, seems to be enjoying himself too. Visually great and Mike, Nick, Tony, Darryl and the backing singers doing an excellent job.
Was at AO Arena ,great to see Genesis back,loved the show(best live band ever) tinged with sadness because this is probably the last time I will ever see them live
Hi thanks for the upload, I was at the opening night in Birmingham what a great show , shame not to see Phill on drums but his son was brilliant a real chip off the block and I’m sure phill is really proud of him ,followed this band for the last 43 years sad to think it was probably the last chance to see this excellent band live in person having seen them play live many many times.
I've been a fan since 1972, and have never seen then in person. Just "Live In Video", but I have a vast collection of DVDs and CDs, etc., and I'm quite happy to have contributed to their retirement.
Fading Lights gets me every time, especially in those circumstances... what a good idea to switch to Cinema Show to help us get back on our feet...! Vielen Dank for this video Cliff! All those vids/pix are a great chance for us who didn't/couldn't take tickets!
Brilliant work Cliff, well done mate! Highlight for me there was Domino. Nic's best drumming and Phil's best singing. All in all the whole concert was so much better than I was anticipating. I couldn't bring myself to go - first tour i've missed since ATTWT when I was 12. Wish I had now. I was blubbing more than once there. What a band, I hope they can make it into the studio one last time.
I first saw Genesis live back in 1977. I've seen them about a dozen times since then. They have always been transcendent. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see this tour in person myself. But, I must say that I'm really impressed by Nic's drumming here. I hope that he keeps making music, somewhere, after this tour. I would listen to that...
Thanks for your work on this. I attended this concert on the same night, by the looks of your camera angle about 15 - 20 meters to the right of you. Loved the re working of Land of Confusion with the pandemic visuals. An enjoyable night but sad to say goodbye to my favourite band of all time.
I am 62 and since my 15 I listen , love ,buy lp cd casettes dvd and merchandise , follow them and go to concerts. Really the JOY of MY YOUTH. But I'd rather not see my heroes die on the scene. No, this chapter is not for me. One domino too much and too far over all borders Phil! Live long and well and take it easy man!
Thanks for the video; the quality is great and it gives me a good idea of what it would've been like to see. Alas, I prefer my memories of seeing them on the Mama and Invisible Touch tours. Anyone else notice that The Abacab album was shut out of this tour? I wonder what gives; it's always been popular.
Finally someone Tapes Whole concert from distance without going in and out too see band mates we already know what they look like and for that I APPLAUD You Mate!!!!!!! I'd wish Genesis would use just side screens to show them cause it takes away from Light show IMO

I’m yet to watch this right through but thank you so much for recording this. I had my Manchester ticket for 18 months and was hoping for another postponement but it wasn’t meant to be. I couldn’t easily leave Australia to attend and have been so devastated not to be able to go and see this special band. Been a Phil fan forever and was grateful he blessed us with an Australian tour only a couple of years ago. Just wanted to say farewell to Genesis in person. So sick of covid!!! Thanks again, good job!
Being on the West Coast of the US and not having the privilege to see this tour, I am thankful this video. I appreciate being able to see the lighting rig do its thing, which for me was half the show. Of course, there's the music, which was a excellent mix of older and newer tunes. While it was painful to see Phil, chair-bound and with cane, I think the band, lights, and projections took the focus off of him. Were they the same band that we knew them before? Of course, not. But I think they came together and put on quite a farewell. I don't think we can ask much more of them, except to wish them well in their post-career lives.
im gonna say this with respect as a man who has met Phil,, ate slept and craped genesis for 40 years ,had a genesis tribute band AFTERGLOW from Cleveland Ohio that I put together ,,play Phil to a tee on drums , I feel bad for him, with respect ,you see my dad did the same thing for me. he came out of retirement as a cement finisher ran work for a company only on the condition they put me in the union also and keep me working ..3 years later when I settled in ,he said to me son I'm done I don't have to worry about you anymore , your gonna be fine and then finally retired ....it was as hard to watch my father bust his ass comming out of retirement ,pretty much crippled ,for me as it is to watch Phil go through this .out of pitch detune the songs ,believe me what I tell you nobody loves phill more than i..MAKE NO MISTAKE HE IS ONLY DOING IT TO GET HIS SONS NAME OUT THERE...and for that MUCH RESPECT... if you don't believe me....... youtube donny chakster.

The light show is amazing, Nic Collins is doing a nice job and Mike, Tony and Daryl sound good, and I am glad they seems to be enjoying their reunion, but they really are just a shadow of their former greatness. I will always love the music of the Gabriel/Hackett years, but I am taking a hard pass on the Last Domino?

@@DeadMikeConcertVideos I was afraid they would not let me in with that camera but at the security check I talked an ear off the SecGuard and he didn´t even check the pockets of my jacket where I had the camera, the smartphone and the holder for both. When people in front of me jumped up to applaud I just raised the hand that held the camera over their heads. You don´t even see that on the video because the focus is always fixed on one spot. So Phil is sitting in a chair. Big deal. He's 70 years old for God's sake. There's too many people whining about it to address them all, and I don't care to do so anyway because I think what they're really whining about is the fact that the never could do what he has in his life, so I'll just say this once and be done with it... When you're 70 years old, I'll bet you still can't do what he has done or is doing now. So how about you just shut the hell up and leave him be so everyone who isn't whining can enjoy this final world tour? And if you can't shut up about it, how about you just go away? Because whining is so much less manly than sitting in a freakin' chair. 'Nuff said, end rant.
The problem isn't that he was sitting in a chair. The problem would be just as evident in a purely audio rendition which gave no indication of the postures of the performers. The problem is that Phil's voice is not what it once was, and for him to perform anyway in spite of that seriously detracts from his legacy.
WHY WHY WHY DO OTHER VIDEO PHOTOGRAPHERS NOT GIVE US THE CONCERT LIKE YOU HAVE. SUPERB JUST LIKE BEING IN THE UPPER CIRCLE WATCHING AND ENJOYING THE STAGE SHOW. IT WAS A MAGNIFICENT ACHIEVEMENT. MORE MORE MORE PLEASE
I wonder if he could hit the notes if he had more back support. He can’t get the oxygen needed to reach the notes so you hear him sliding. He always had an amazing range and was rarely pitchy live. If it kills me to see that lost, I can’t imagine his frustration. That said, he left it all on the stage and I can’t wait to say goodbye in NY. Maybe, his voice will get stronger after the euro leg of the tour. I Know they are going to put out live album so they are either going to have to auto tune him from the board or in the studio. The wild thing is Nic is growing out his beard and hair so he will look like his dad circa 1974.
Good quality recording and good reminder of the gig [although actually I went to Liverpool on Oct 3rd] but a shame that you miss off Dancing with the moonlit knight / Carpet Crawlers at the end

Phil's singing is much improved from the 1st few concerts, which is very encouraging going forwards. 'Progressive' rock it is.

Wonderful to see them in Birmingham last week, but bittersweet. ‘Fading Lights’ had a poignancy to it that brought a catch to the throat.
Look if you all are gonna go see legends in their 70s perform it’s gonna be a little pitchy. But it’s fun and great for memories anyway…
I'm surprisingly pleased. This rendition of their 80s songs is much less annoyingly poppy.

So Phil is sitting in a chair. Big deal. He's 70 years old for God's sake. There's too many people whining about it to address them all, and I don't care to do so anyway because I think what they're really whining about is the fact that the never could do what he has in his life, so I'll just say this once and be done with it... When you're 70 years old, I'll bet you still can't do what he has done or is doing now. So how about you just shut the hell up and leave him be so everyone who isn't whining can enjoy this final world tour? And if you can't shut up about it, how about you just go away? Because whining is so much less manly than sitting in a freakin' chair. 'Nuff said, end rant.
The problem isn't that he was sitting in a chair. The problem would be just as evident in a purely audio rendition which gave no indication of the postures of the performers. The problem is that Phil's voice is not what it once was, and for him to perform anyway in spite of that seriously detracts from his legacy.

I wonder if he could hit the notes if he had more back support. He can’t get the oxygen needed to reach the notes so you hear him sliding. He always had an amazing range and was rarely pitchy live. If it kills me to see that lost, I can’t imagine his frustration. That said, he left it all on the stage and I can’t wait to say goodbye in NY. Maybe, his voice will get stronger after the euro leg of the tour. I Know they are going to put out live album so they are either going to have to auto tune him from the board or in the studio. The wild thing is Nic is growing out his beard and hair so he will look like his dad circa 1974.
i have to say he sang much better here than in Birmingham His voice was to low and we could not hear him sing the words

Thanks for great video. I saw them in Leeds in 27th. Much prefer Tony’s keyboards this tour compared to ‘07. Sound is much closer to the albums.
Good quality recording and good reminder of the gig [although actually I went to Liverpool on Oct 3rd] but a shame that you miss off Dancing with the moonlit knight / Carpet Crawlers at the end
