Matt tuned my 03 wrx almost 10 years ago. Funny enough im now driving an audi and still living in MA. Looks like im going to have to pay him a visit again for some sauce lol
I just started researching and learning about Audi cars two days ago. The Audi S5 V8 is going on my list of potential project cars in the future. I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. Hopefully I can get enough money to sell it and buy a G87 M2 someday. I'm still job searching and doing videos.
He said it was expensive to upgrade his b8 5 to the rs5 front end 🤣 I just did a whole facelift swap on my b8. I had to replace the hood, headlights, grill, bumper, and some other little things before painting it all. It cost a grip but I love having the look while keeping the v8. I did the steering wheel swap too, and I'm working on the shift knob. I'd love to add a SC in the future if I can save up the cash.
hows it ride with the springs? I want to lower mine. Noticeable over stock? i think even on harsher roads the b8.5 rides somewhat stiff on stock suspension. I would hate to make it worse, but i want a tiny little drop to decrease the fender gap.
reliable and 100k are not really in the same ballpark. Most 3.0Ts will last a long time but unless its had waterpump, thermos, pcv, dsg all serviced you should have around 3k lying around when something breaks.
I keep looking at these videos that are my car and then once again they're all freakin automatics wheres all my b8 b8.5 manuals.???? Does nobody have a s5 manual video to recommend.geeeez
Jackal Tune on a B8.5 is the move. Got an S5 and it’s just amazing
@@MrRubenixa it’s impressive!!
The car looks phenomenal!
Another Jackal Tune! Congrats.
got an S5 because of your videos! Couldn't find a b8.5 with a manual transmission, so I got a b8!!
@@skulker689 aye that’s awesome. The B8 is a perfect platform, congrats!
Thank you once again Kev had a blast 🏎️
@@BraxtonLaClair thank you dude!

I’m glad he went the Jackal route 😏
It’s sweeeet
I’ve got a Jackal tune on my B8 V8 manual it really woke the car up.
@@peterriley2022 that’s awesome to hear. Tough to get a lot of power gains out of the V8 but it really seems to based on videos I’ve seen!
Great video guys! thanks 😎

FFS I’m looking at an S4 2013 but now you got me looking at this S5 2016 💪🤣💪💸💸💸💸💸
@@theadmiral4625 they’re sooooo good
Does the Audi S5 V8 have turbo kits? I saw a car on YT that was built to 1,300 horsepower yesterday. I'm curious if there are turbo kits.
@@bikotheanimator6169 oooh I assume they do. That platform has been out for a while. Would be crazy to do
As well as Supercharger kits!

@@AddisonRoyer it’s a noticeable difference but worth it in my opinion. You definitely feel the road
I went with the 034 Dynamic+ springs. Whatever route you go, you’ll enjoy the ride.
AMAC shifting?
I’m thinking about getting a s5 with 101k miles as my second car . Do you think this is a good reliable car ?
ehhhhhh not reliable.....

make sure you have about 5K for maintenance if it hasn't been done yet
@@blade643 yeah 3-5 I think it depends on your area and shop rates.
Got my b8 and it died almost a year later. Just got in and it wouldn’t start😢
