When I graduated in '98 we had 3 options, Camaro, TA, and the Mustang. Dodge wasnt really doing much at the time. I wasn't a fan of how the Camaro looked so I leaned towards the TA & Mustang. The Mustang won me over with the sn95 Cobra, loved the way it looked when it was lowered. The TA ws6 with the ram air hood, holy shit who didnt love that? That thing looked nasty! Then the New Edge Mustangs really won me over even more with the Mach 1 & Terminator. The Terminator is still my attainable dream car.
Dude gorgeous car! And autos in these are tougher to find. I just spent 2 yrs and about a month ago found a 03 white one with 15,000 on it. I paid for it but like you said man, great investment. Plus I have always loved the looks of these cars!
Congrats on yours and they are definitely one of the best body styles...I did end up trading the car off but im extremely happy with what replaced it and I just did a video on it recently. Hope you like Azure Blue th-cam.com/video/hQxtOK9PEwc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=3PmpEnuXd3ZwB7AA
I actually just traded this one off for another Mach 1 that im doin a bunch too. If you check out my most recent videos you will probably enjoy the one i just did. Congrats on your new car as well
Cant argue, this car sounds great! 🐑 I own a terminator, but the mach 1 really made me love this platform. The sounds brother. 🔥Own a Terminator one day you will understand our struggle from the other side too. 😄
Awesome car man. Clean, despite you saying otherwise! Lol! I have two, both 2004’s. My first Mach one is an Azure Blue car, 5 speed and currently totally bone stock save for the slotted front rotors. I’m the 3rd owner of it and the previous owner owned it the longest and put nearly all the miles it has on it. It has around 128k on it and still runs like a champ. That said, it’s seen a lot of highway miles and they didn’t really maintain it the way I would have. So I got some work to do to make it crisp and fresh again. I’ve been gathering parts for it, nothing crazy….just want to freshen up what’s already there. Plans for it are basically suspension, exhaust, wheels (deep dish AFS wheels for the rear and fresh stock sized front….which I have for it) and a few other bits and otherwise keep it stock as a cruiser. My second Mach 1 (like I said, both 2004’s) is Torch Red, also a 5 speed car. It’s built, balanced and blueprinted. All forged, no expense spared with a Whipple 2.9 blower sitting on top of it. Pushing 14 pounds of boost on pump gas the car makes 717 rwhp and 663 tq. I actually bought this car built this way from a former USAF F35 engineer who built it meticulously to scare the living crap out of himself at the drag strip. It’s a total monster. You name the part and this thing probably has it…..way wayyyyy too much to list. I got it for a great price because he retired from the military and moved into being a contractor for the VA….so he moved and told me that he was thinking about building a GT350 next. I agree with you that these things are a great future investment. Sadly there are fewer and fewer on the road. As for the IUP they didn’t offer embroidered headrests….that’s something aftermarket there. You should order yourself a certificate of authenticity for the car from Ford Show Parts. Such a nice thing to have and they break down the build numbers and such too. Also, the 40th anniversary badges were on all 2004 Mustangs, V6, GT, Mach 1. The actual 40th anniversary Mustang was a GT that had an appearance package beyond just the badges. Also, it looks like your Mach has an aftermarket rear bumper cover. It’s missing the “MUSTANG” writing on it.
Thank you and sounds like two awesome cars you have their. I def love mine, i keant to point out the rear bumper in the video and forgot too, i know the stitching was done aftermarket but def fubbed that part of the video up not being detaild enough. I do plan to do some things and will glad to keep her long term, one day the termis will be out of sight on $ and Mach 1 will be next on the list I feel….thanks for watching 👍👍👍

I ended up trading this one for a Azure Blue 5 speed and i love it. Most of my other cars were manual so it was only right.
I loved my Mach 1. Such great cars
I feel as if the Terminator will reach a certain point of value that most cannot afford and the Mach 1 will be the next best thing.
Was looking at 98 mustang vids came across this vid at random, gotta say best mustang I have ever seen bro! 😮
Oh yeah and a self installed sun roof would kill this car 👌

Needs to be lowered, to much wheel gap
