Great laptop for the price it is really good for now no heating just a little warm under the base :)
Can it play dota 2, diablo 3 and star craft well on max settings? Is the fan really loud during gaming? Does the keyboard feel good? do they keys light up?

Got this laptop a month ago. Worth the money in my opinion. I can run CSGO max settings at around 120fps+, LOL on 170fps+, and Overwatch on ultra at 50-60fps

Is the keyboard flex similar to the one of IdeaPad 500? Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere to test it where I live but I did find the IdeaPad 500 and it really disappointed me.

Hey Andrew, taking a look at this base model here, did you see anywhere to install a SATA 2.5 Inch drive? I'm looking at the internals in the video but I dont see it right away, maybe I'm blind? I'd love to have this and later install another ssd or a HDD for extra storage.
when i put the graphics on "discrete" the fan got load and computer didnt load until i put it back on to "uma only"

i might buy this laptop. but the ssd is a bit small. can i upgrade the m.2 for a bigger one (like a 1tb 960pro or something). and is there cloning software and hardware to clone windows to another m.2?

About that external dvd drive for free: is that if you by directly from Lenovo? Does it burn or just read? DVD and Bluray?
i have that laptop and its amazing. i dont lag at alllll
how is the build quality? since its mostly plastic I'm not sure about buying it
the build quality is good , but if you play game like GTA V , the temperature will rise pretty high, Y700 have better cooling system though.
if you turn off turbo boost it is cool, and since 950m is not that powerful, turbo boost is not needed, 2.6ghz is fine
meatloaf Well the megapixels are kinda dry and not as bright as I expected but its really good.

Hi Andrew! Can you help me out? I need a suggestion for a budget gaming laptop. I really only play WoW and I need something that will play it moderately well. It doesn't need to be anything fancy as I do most of my playing on my desktop. Smooth play on medium-high settings would be fine. Something around $600 would be great. Thank you!

Does the recommended Dell come with the PCIe enabled m.2? Where I'm at this machine seems to be the bang-for-your-buck-beast performance-wise.
Anybody have problem with this laptop (Cant play games in FULLSCREEN when NOT plugged in) i mean whenever you play the game without plugged in IN fullscreen... the screen goes blank and comes back and keeps doing it :( exp i cant play cs go for that reason... i contacted microsoft and they couldnt help :(
There's a deal on Ebay right now for this laptop at $499. It comes without an SSD and the system RAM is DDR3 rather than DDR4. Otherwise it's the same, with the 1080p display and the 950m gfx card. Is it worth the asking price?

How is it working now? What about the hinges? Are they getting loose? This one seems ideal for me (being a non-gaming quad-core + 1080p IPS screen == best for graphic designing). But I feel like its not a kind of laptop which would last 4-5 years (I currently got lenovo B570E and G580 i3s, G850 was solid-built hence working same after 4 years while 5 years old B750E started to have loose hinges after couple of months). Are the hinges breakable? It looks oddly balanced.
is there a way to invert the f1-f12 keys so that fn key isnt needed every time?

I bought it 4 days ago. Each time I try to stream on YT or FB it freezes and buzzes. Anyone got an explenation on that? OH! I should mention that even when restarting or randomly it stays on but blacksout ??

Dell Inspiron 15 7559 everywhere says they can only DDR3L and no NVMe, despite HM170 chipset, which can do it; probably intentionally locked in BIOS....

Adrian Todirica the screen is great. IPS and bright, insane viewing angles. The keyboard is good as well. Not my favorite Lenovo keyboard but still better than most other companies. T takes a while to get used to the less Force to activate if you're coming from mechanical PC keyboard. Besides that, I really recommend this laptop. Only downfall is batery isn't great

Jeez! That flexing in the keyboard and display!! Some 15 years ago, "flexing" was not even a word in the laptop-related vocabulary. Everything nowadays is made like cheap Chinese toys, ready to come apart any moment in your hands.

Thermal cooling part of your video is misleading in all your videos when it comes to gaming temperatures. You should use realtemp to show internal CPU temp and GPU temp when gaming and it would show actual cooling ability.

So i have this laptop, its great and all really, but my only problem is that sometimes the hinge gets stuck and i have to use a bit more force to close it after use and it makes a cracking sound, does anyone have the same problem ?
hey i had that same problem when i first got it. Try tightening the screws on the back cover. mine stopped creaking after i did that !
what is the difference between this and the 700-15isk version? except for the aluminium case?
You talk about white version, yes? White version have a jbl speakers, aluminium case and metal frame around the touchpad. I heard that a black version have a GTX 940 not 950 like white. But I don't know that for sure.

witch is more than fast enough for now.

I got the laptop now. Is it normal that it just starts turning up the fans out of nowhere? I can write a mail with nothing else opened and the fans will come on. They will stay on from anywhere between 5 secs and 1 min. Its super frustrating. A low fan noise all the time, sure, but this on and off thing i cant live it.

Thanks for your reply. At normal usage, browsing and such, word, skype etc. Is it completely quiet? Because i do have those very small gaps where it is completely quiet.
Also, i seem to have some problems with the keyboard. Multiple times a keypress wont register, fucking up my sentence. Other times it will register in wrong order. Not every sentence but definitely enough to notice. I think im over the "getting used to new keyboard period" so im fairly sure its not my fault.
