Right!! idk why she doesn’t do that. I saw some other large family say they never do that “ incase tomorrow it’s an world event and we can’t go to the store” so that’s why they don’t use all the food they have and THEN go shopping. They’d save so much money. It’s insane to me 🤦🏻♀️🥴

Cheese usually has only little lactose and milk or ice cream relatively much. if you have only a milder form of intolerance, you should not completely avoid lactose, otherwise you will become completely intolerant.
Buys 10 pounds of cheese *10 minutes later* gets lactose free ice cream, that makes sense

I didn’t realize my lactose intolerance was actually a dairy allergy, and I have to say, the way the lactose in ice cream hits my system is different than the cheese. Idk how to explain it. 🤷🏼♀️

I only have problems with real milk and stuff like curd cheese, everything else is fine (yoghurt, butter, cream, sour cream, ice cream, cheese, cream cheese,…)
My whole family gets together for thanksgiving, 20+ people, and the most turkey we’ve ever made is 2…. She’s ridiculous
I can only imagine what her neighbors have to deal with daily. Hearing screaming, seeing pounds of empty boxes in her yard, and the chickens !
As a single mom who struggles to put decent healthy food on the table for her kids this absolutely sickens me. The amount she spends on one trip would fill my cupboards for months.

Btw from one single mom to another you’re doing an amazing job!! Our kids may not have absolutely everything but they appreciate what they do have!! They are also growing up seeing their mamas work hard to provide for them. We are teaching our children real useful life skills. They appreciate us while her children can’t stand her! My nephew just moved in with us, and he basically doubled our food costs. I want one of this woman's food hauls to get through awhile. (Although I just watched A go through half a box of Quaker granola bars in one day. His prior food insecurity showed)

My grandmother has 10 kids and she made all her food homemade! When I kinship fostered 16 kids and had 3 of my own, I made homemade food. The kids loved it. They always had healthy snacks. Every Friday night we had ice cream sundae board and we would all sit together and watch a movie
Im one of those people who cant listen to others eat. Its called misaphonia , and its an auditory processing disorder that many of us on the autism spectrum have. All my kids and some of my grandkids have it as well. Thanks Josh. I appreciate you bringing attention to it.
I was co-chair to my local soup kitchen for 8 years. The amount of waste that she throws out could feed 100 for a week. Make sure to donate canned goods and nonperishable's this Thanksgiving to those less fortunate!! Thanks!!🍁🍂🌾
I feel the same about her. I cringe at the waste. I volunteer at my local food bank. The amount of waste gets to me knowing there are people who face food insecurity and hunger in our community.

💯💯💯 I don’t know how it works in the US, but where I live in Scotland, all the supermarkets have trolleys for the local food bank sitting at the store entrance and then beside the checkouts too.
That way, it’s really easy to grab a couple of extra items when you’re picking up your own shopping, then just drop it in the special trolleys on your way out of the shop. It’s a great idea!
@@scottishemmaa2457 we have that I New Zealand as well and it makes it easy to buy a few extra non-perishable items each week. My local area has a food cupboard where we can donate food and people who need it can take what they need. There are a lot popping up here and it worked well when we were in covid lockdowns.

I worked in a grocery store for almost 14 years. She’s the kind of customer we hated seeing walk in the door. Not only does she buy way too much but she move the rotation around.

The amount of food she buys is so overwhelming, and the fact she uses 3 carts is nuts. Also I have so many memories of going shopping with my mom and her telling me about ingredients and food. It’s a shame she has also robbed her kids of the ability to properly feed themselves after they move out because she didn’t teach them anything about grocery shopping and cooking.

As someone who has worked in a number of retail and service jobs, she is absolutely an inconvenience EVERYWHERE she goes if she is not letting the business know ahead of time. For example with a party that size if they go out to eat without first making a reservation, that’s just insanely rude and inconsiderate. Also I want to point out that in the recent spaghetti bowl video when they are sitting at the table on the left side in front of Naveah there are TWO white claws and you can see Alicia grab one… who’s is the other one??? Doesn’t seem to be any other adults on that side of the table.. is she just grabbing two for dinner so she doesn’t have to get up!??

Someone said she is feeding 40 people but even then you do NOT need that many turkeys. Maybe, maybe 2, and like 1 ham. There are so many sides at thanksgiving and that’s what usually gets eaten the most anyway.
I did one ham and one turkey as I was responsible for cooking for 30 to 60 every holiday. I kept my budget of $100 but always spent less. It is about spending time with family and friends while being thankful and not the meal itself.

When my produce starts to go bad, I throw it in the freezer for soup, or I dehydrate it and make celery salt...Or I do SOMETHING that day to use it up, I just cannot fathom the waste! She could start a food bank from her pantry. Insanity!
Exactly! Even if mine goes bad to the point I can’t salvage it goes in my compost & feeds my worms but it’s usually not much.
Same. Often end of week we have a soup to use the veggies that are soft or tiny amounts of leftovers. We also don’t peel things like carrots anymore.

@@carriewhite3448 dehydrate if, blend it after it’s dried, mix with sea salt to taste. I’ve done a ranch style/ vegetable seasoning too with onions, celery carrots parsley all dried and ground to powder in a blender with salt and pepper…the family loves it, they say it reminds them of Ranch dressing. There’s probably a YT video, Acre Homestead channel does some things like this on her channel.

While I was married (divorced now), I had to prepare holiday meals for 30 to 60 people. I had to do it on a budget of less than $100. I want to see just how much she is going to overspend on this one.
For me it was one ham and one turkey which was usually the best deal that I could get on my limited budget.
I would make dinner rolls from scratch.
I would fill out the menu with cheap sides like frozen or canned vegetables spruced up to be fancy.
Think corn with butter and parsley sprinkled in it. Some folks add diced bell pepper to the corn.
Or cut up carrots cooked in a small crock pot but brown sugar and maple syrup added for glazed carrots.
Or a cheap steamer bag of frozen vegetables to be put in the microwave and poured in a serving dish.
Or taking a big sweet potato and cutting it up while adding butter and brown sugar as it cooked.
Or making a few boxes of cheap Mac and Cheese but adding extra butter and milk. Then putting it in a baking dish and topping with real shredded cheese and bread crumbs.
This is going to get interesting to see how much she is spending on white claw.
That is so sad. Why couldn't a few of the family members come together to shop and cook? I wouldn't be able to do what you did.
@@ForeverSweetx3 that's what I miss about the holidays when all my aunt's and uncles were alive we had some where to go every holiday when my granny died my aunt took up the tradition everyone bought something my mom is not a cook so she chopped veggies she would bring the dessert and she made Gumbo the night before now it's just my Mom (who now has dementia) and my uncle left out of 11 siblings
@@ForeverSweetx3 Not really. I saw it as fun because my mother could not cook. I had the culinary arts degree. My MIL and FIL had health problems. I had custody of the nieces and nephews since all children were in my care so it was open door to the bio parents and did not expect them to bring anything. I did not expect elderly aunts and uncles to bring anything. I did not expect cousins to bring anything. Besides I enjoy providing for others as it was what makes me happy.

I have 5 kids. I’m a single parent now but before I left my unhappy marriage we had 8 kids between us. My 3 his 3 and our 2.

I have 6 kids so a family of 8 and we spend around 1k on food for a month but it’s spread out over the month. I do one big haul non perishable foods and then go back throughout the month for the others and odds and ends we need. She definitely spends way to much. Their is absolutely no way she is eating all the food she purchases!

I don't understand why she doesn't shop at these bulk store more. Go once a month buy like 99% of what you need for the month. Then when she goes to a normal grocery store she wouldn't be buying all they have of one thing and leaving none for others. Family of 3 here and I buy in bulk then just get what I need here and there. Which is normally dairy. There are so many things she could be doing to make her life easier.
And one coupon she actually couldn't use because she got the wrong cheesecakes!

Cameras in the bedrooms baffle me and makes me sad and angry … I think back to when I was younger I would have been mortified to have a camera in my bedroom ( I wasn’t doing anything wrong ) but my bedroom was the one place I could go to and calm down and gather myself .. it was a safe space .. there bedrooms should be there safe space as well with having so many siblings and your life always being filmed these kids deserve a safe neutral no camera filming place where they can be themselves .. be kids and escape the chaos 😢

She did 3 shopping videos in 4 days! It was crazy!! Her Cosco haul was HUGE!! I think she used 2 of those flat bed cart things and a normal cart. Well semi normal as their carts are very large. She said they were having 40 people for Thanksgiving. Apparently they are deep frying 3 of the turkeys and baking one in the oven. Deep fried turkey is actually really good. We did it one year but the mess isn't worth it even though you do it outside. Big time Fire hazard also. When the trend started years ago people were burning there houses down by doing it inside or to close to the house!! It was stupid crazy. Amazes me how many people have no commonsense or brains anymore. I hope she knows they need to be thawed 100% first. If not this could be a fun video as you know she will record all the meal prep and them eating it.

As someone who is feeling the food increase she sickens me!! I’ve been having to shop the dollar store more and more I would kill to be ale to go grocery shopping and just buy what my family loves to eat. Too many of us are struggling while she’s just throwing good food away and wasting so much!!! Keep going after all these sad executor parents Josh your going to change the world for many kids I just know it!!!!
I think I would appreciate these shopping hauls if the family were buying to donate at a food pantry for the holidays, she definitely can afford it.

Ever since I realized that Friday has become Snark on DD day, I look forward to it all week!
My son may not pick fruit, but if you put vegetables in front of him, he’s gonna choose that over anything 😂 he’s obsessed with all vegetables. He will literally eat a bowl of just broccoli for lunch and snack. It’s so strange to me 😂 even when we go out to eat and he gets like a burger and a side of broccoli, he will eat all the broccoli before he touches the burger 😂
My child is like this as well! He loves fruits and vegetables and hardly wants any meat. We offer it to him and make sure we supplement with other types of protein.
I recently came across a family of 10 called Just the Bells. She's NOTHING like Lush at at..what she spent on a bi weekly grocery haul was so much less that them. Everyone in the comments were bashing Lush saying she should be more like them..& the kids not only work their own jobs but help out on their farm! Well they had tractors lol anyways it shows meals being made buffet style& then just big meals for large families..but I guarantee they don't waste like Lush does! No reason other than to donate that they'd need that much food
Ma Bell teaches them how to work and cook as well as other life skills. Oldest daughter saved her wages and bought a house at 20 years old. Special needs boy works at the grocery store. She did a house tour with oldest daughter and left out the bedrooms for privacy.
1 or 2 turkeys n 1 ham is more than enough. Coming from someone who is around 40-60 ppl every thanksgiving she is buying wayyyyy to much Turkey wth
I live near Watsonville where strawberries are grown in California. Driscolls has fields there. The strawberries are huge and they are incredibly delicious. Coastal breezes and hot sun.

I used to work at a daycare where I fed 150 kids 4 times a day. The shopping would be $600 a week… I don’t know how she can spend to much and eat it all apparently.
And you best believe I would pack so much fresh veg into every hot meal on a daily. The food processor to make the veg super small was my best friend.
I used 6kg of meat every hot meal.
(I’m in Australia, so that’s $600AUD)
And all my babies at daycare loved my food they would have multiple plates of it, plus staff. Parents used to tell me the kids want to go to daycare just to eat my food. I’m happy to give her some advice so her kids get proper nutrition in every meal and make it yummy.
That is like $400 USD, so you do amazing!! Alisha is spending 10× that amount for 14 people. It is insane.
