I have a theory about why Tsumugi is into incest, even though the love suite events aren’t canon. So, just a mini theory before we start, y’all know how Rantaro is like a big brother? Well, if it is confirmed that they both participated in DR52, she would know about it. Maybe Shirogane was attached to Rantaro, and even had a crush on him. Maybe the whole big brother thing was because he was a big brother to twelve, and she wanted Rantaro to love her. _but throwing my ships aside-_ I feel like the reason that she has an incest fantasy could likely be the reason that Hifumi loves his sister; I don’t know if he had an incestual thing, but he loved his sister a lot. Why? Because Yamada’s sister didn’t find that his fan fiction and hobbies were weird, she was actually interested in them and admired the fanfic writer. Who does that sounds similar to? Alter Ego. Alter Ego felt the same way, and Hifumi loved Alter Ego as well. Why did he love the two? Because they validated him and didn’t treat him like human garbage. Shirogane could’ve easily has a similar view. If she had a brother, her brother could care for her; especially if they were the older one. Her brother would love her by default, and treated her nicely like normal siblings would(well let’s be real siblings fight but that’s not the point) do. One thing to add on before I continue was that she may not even have a thing for invest specifically, in her fantasy she does state that Saihara does in face play the role of her brother, but not by blood. Her STEP brother, do they aren’t actually related. Yes, it’s still weird and kind of creepy, but it could also just be a way of her coming up with a “forbidden love” story. As we all know, Tsumugi is a lover of fiction, she even states that she gave her life to it. So this fantasy could be a way of escapism by coming up with a forbidden love story, which is often shown in fiction, but staying away from the generic Romeo and Juliet type “haters to lovers” type thing or whatever it was. She even says “it’s something from a light novel” and “I never thought plain old me would play such a flashy role”;proving my point further. Going back to the original theory, it could simply be because a brother or step brother, usually an older one, is very nurturing and kind. I’m going to take a wild guess and say Shirogane has no siblings, because she never mentioned them in free time events, and because the way she portrays her sibling relationship with Saihara gives off the vibe that she doesn’t know how much siblings go at each other’s necks, especially if they’re not close in age. So she must think that all siblings are caring and kind to one another, and validate each other for their strange and out of the ordinary hobbies. So, who else could she love? Someone who already loves and cares for her, she just wants it to be more than platonic. Tell me your thoughts below!

I hate it because I can not imagine her character doing any of these things. I like her character, but none of her in-game expressions can support what is being illustrated by the text. Why do you think they gave Miu several sprites for being turned on? Or why they gave Gonta several sprites of being intense? It's so that we can visualize them actually doing what the game tells us they are doing. With Tsumugi, we are given sprites of her either staring into space, looking angry, looking worried, or looking fascinated. So whenever she tries to act sexy for her older brother ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), It comes off as unfitting since she's as sexy as a nun in that uniform.
My head canon is that she also wrote Korekiyo and Rantaro’a character and that’s why they’re so fixated on their sister. Wanting to make that fanatsy a reality. It’s often what authors and writers do.

I have a theory about why Tsumugi is into incest, even though the love suite events aren’t canon.
So, just a mini theory before we start, y’all know how Rantaro is like a big brother? Well, if it is confirmed that they both participated in DR52, she would know about it. Maybe Shirogane was attached to Rantaro, and even had a crush on him. Maybe the whole big brother thing was because he was a big brother to twelve, and she wanted Rantaro to love her.

I feel like the reason that she has an incest fantasy could likely be the reason that Hifumi loves his sister; I don’t know if he had an incestual thing, but he loved his sister a lot. Why? Because Yamada’s sister didn’t find that his fan fiction and hobbies were weird, she was actually interested in them and admired the fanfic writer. Who does that sounds similar to? Alter Ego. Alter Ego felt the same way, and Hifumi loved Alter Ego as well. Why did he love the two? Because they validated him and didn’t treat him like human garbage. Shirogane could’ve easily has a similar view. If she had a brother, her brother could care for her; especially if they were the older one. Her brother would love her by default, and treated her nicely like normal siblings would(well let’s be real siblings fight but that’s not the point) do. One thing to add on before I continue was that she may not even have a thing for invest specifically, in her fantasy she does state that Saihara does in face play the role of her brother, but not by blood. Her STEP brother, do they aren’t actually related. Yes, it’s still weird and kind of creepy, but it could also just be a way of her coming up with a “forbidden love” story. As we all know, Tsumugi is a lover of fiction, she even states that she gave her life to it. So this fantasy could be a way of escapism by coming up with a forbidden love story, which is often shown in fiction, but staying away from the generic Romeo and Juliet type “haters to lovers” type thing or whatever it was. She even says “it’s something from a light novel” and “I never thought plain old me would play such a flashy role”;proving my point further. Going back to the original theory, it could simply be because a brother or step brother, usually an older one, is very nurturing and kind. I’m going to take a wild guess and say Shirogane has no siblings, because she never mentioned them in free time events, and because the way she portrays her sibling relationship with Saihara gives off the vibe that she doesn’t know how much siblings go at each other’s necks, especially if they’re not close in age. So she must think that all siblings are caring and kind to one another, and validate each other for their strange and out of the ordinary hobbies. So, who else could she love? Someone who already loves and cares for her, she just wants it to be more than platonic. Tell me your thoughts below!

I hate it because I can not imagine her character doing any of these things. I like her character, but none of her in-game expressions can support what is being illustrated by the text. Why do you think they gave Miu several sprites for being turned on? Or why they gave Gonta several sprites of being intense? It's so that we can visualize them actually doing what the game tells us they are doing. With Tsumugi, we are given sprites of her either staring into space, looking angry, looking worried, or looking fascinated. So whenever she tries to act sexy for her older brother ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°), It comes off as unfitting since she's as sexy as a nun in that uniform.
