Good intro! A few very important things that werent mentioned in the video. 1. To submit bug report in game type "/bug" 2. Glint that drops from mobs, gained from event rewards, etc can be sold to vendors for copper,silver, gold. Glint is also used for caravan commodities. A stack of 10 glint can combined into next tier by right clicking on the stack. 3. Lastly, the Devs want your feedback. Go to the forums and post feedback on your archetype you tried =)
Hi! I'm one of those new players starting on Friday. Thank you for the timely walk through of the first few steps. I'm interested in the gathering and crafting aspects of the game. But there isn't much about it out there... just a quick walk through of which vendor is where in lionhold would be helpful at this point.
You're right, there isn't alot of detail yet. Mostly it looks like the rates/time requirements are a little crazy right now. I think most of us expect it to be better on the dec 20 reset. The things we know for sure (subject to change as the game progresses) every player can participate in every artisan profession, but as you progress in artisan level you will have to narrow down your professions. For example you start with all your processes ions at level 1. You'll need to finish your horse quest to get the basic artisan tools . When you get a skill to level 10 you can level it up to the next rank via certification (visiting a trainer). You will only be able to have like 3 professions at the max level. You need to use herbalism/lumberjacking items for fuel to do any of the other professions. Recipes can drop from mobs. Do you have any specific questions?
Nice video. DO you know or have any for those starting quests? I ahve 0clue how to finish them. Got my horse and delivered 1package after 3hours of gameplay. Still could not finish lvl1quests.
When I was in the starting area by the portal, I was killed by a red player first, riding around killing noobs with low hp from the goblin fights. Then I was killed killed by a random mage, new player too but she only went after me. She was purple so when I respawned I decided to go f her up but I couldn't attack her. When pressing on her and using abilities, nothing happens. Why can't I attack other players? I don't even want to, I just want to go after the dicks that started the beef. I tried searching everywhere online, Google, Reddit etc. Nothing

Zarb is good people, he's also Canadian so everything he says is true, I didn't know you could pick up other weapons in the starter area, poggies.

Pvp is opt in. Since they were purple they were toggled on for pvp, you need to as well. It's alt by default.(recommend you switch it)
