Hey Peppin Charlie isn’t with you anymore hahaha 🤣
I enjoy your presentation style, it's like hearing a good novel, the history is well done. I am truly enjoying the narrative. I look forward to hearing more.
Hello Bob! Goodbye Bob! Best dollar eighty I ever spent!!
Well said C, thank you for all your exceedingly well produced videos
“Charlie Crawford ain’t with ya anymore!”
Hahahaha brilliant scene. The more I hear and learn of The Kid the more I LOVE HIM. He lives on FOREVER.
I don't have the least bit sorrow for the Murphy/Dolan faction. Irish had it bad enough, without an entire organization being against them, over greed & sorry money! Rather than be fair, they murdered Tunstall over something they'd assumed he'd do, rather than anything he'd actually did.
At the risk of being killed, the Regulators willingly took that chance to get justice for Tunstall. All of who were mostly young boys! You wouldn't see many now with the "grit" and willing to do that, much less adults.
Many wondered why Bonney was so intent on getting justice, revenge or killing those responsible for Tunstalls death. He'd said that Tunstall was the only man who'd ever been kind to him and treated him fairly in his whole life. Back then things were much tougher, and hard times came cheap, with life often valued at even less. So being treated good meant a lot and carried weight. Enough so, that people killed over it, without hesitation, as was common.
It's how small communities tend to be with law.
What you say is 100
I'm not stating opinion on it, other than to say it's possible. I can't even recall where I read it, but among the many speculative beliefs that Garrett didn't kill Bonney. The story I read was that Garrett knew Bonney and was guilty of past crimes himself, and was intimidated by authorities into taking the job. Being that most people except for Garrett, who'd ever got a close look at Bonney were all dead! Authorities figured that would be the edge Garrett needed to catch or kill Billy, and it took a criminal to catch one. But Garrett, in his fear had fired hastily in the dark of Pete Maxwell's bedroom. After hearing a young voice ask "quien es"
(Who's there) just assuming it was Billy, but he'd actually killed one of Maxwell's young sons. Maxwell, being an old man and fearful of Garrett, never reported that to anyone.
