You are wrong! the letter you talk about saying it was the first letter the killer sent and said his name Jack the ripper was NOT sent on sept.25th the first letter that he sent and gave his name for the first time was sent on sept 17th! the letter you talk about was not sent by Jack it was written by a newspaper man. only two letters were sent by the real killer, and they are the sept 17th and the from hell letter. and by the way Jack the ripper was George Hutchinson we are 100% sure of this.

IW peaceful??!! Your version of history is greatly flawed. They were thugs, Communists and Anarchists and thugs. My grandfather and grandmother were working in a cigar factory in Peoria of the time, and the IW assualted anyone who questioned their motives. They left for Oregon in 1912 to get away from these thugs, Marxists.

Love this series. Back when I lived in the South in the 70's and 80's, I heard stories of the "Dixie Mafia" in whispers and sometimes outright bragging by wannabes and former members (yes unlike the Italians, some "Dixie Mafia" actually left the life and thrived). But you never knew who to really believe. After living of years growing up in a cop household and working with several organizations as a specialist in other areas, I kind of knew how to separate BS and bragging to get nuggets of facts. Sometimes I got the real story from locals, cops I knew, and even people who probably should have laid off the whiskey (when you bring single malt scotch to a discussion, tongues loosen quickly). I learned a lot, said little, and collected interesting stories (for my own edification, not for publication or the police.). Now much of I learned turned to be a mix of fact (surprisingly a lot of fact), some fiction, and some drunk (guy or gal's) fantasy or pillow talk. Several places were always discussed, one being Hot Springs, Arkansas and the other being Phoenix, Alabama. There were others I won't mention, but those two were prominent in many conversations going back to events in the 1920's and the Italian and Dixie Mafia's and their exchange of ideas, information, and crimes. Some of this video isn't a surprise and some information fills in gaps. Thanks again for a great video and some interesting trips down memory lane.

I’d love to know the truth! The police chief withholding exculpatory evidence causing innocent men their freedom is probably what got him killed. So I consider that crime justification for shooting him. I’d bet Sicilians were the shooters. Justified if he was withholding evidence imo.
