Scotland's Hidden Gem! Ballo Woods MTB Trails - Bhuna, Spicy Bits, 2020, Purple Heart, Home Time

Ballo and Hallyburton Woods are located just outside Coupar Angus in Perthshire. These two relatively small hills are tightly packed with mountain bike trails. Ballo Woods trails are more technical and mostly named after curries, with the increasing spice associated with a higher difficulty trail! There are roots and rocks a plenty to keep you on your toes. Hallyburton woods have a flowier trails, a nice contrast to the tech on Ballo. You can cover both hills in one ride, though you may prefer to do one hill at a time for maximum laps!
