I think the Grand plastic does beat in a bit "fast" but only to a certain point. After it is beat in a bit and loses some stability, it tends to stay at that "perfect" point for a good amount of time. Thats a reason I really like it!
+1 on this right here. Was about to post the same thing. Since release I've bagged a Trust, Grace, and Rive. I describe the way they beat in as a loss in fade, but not an increase in turn. The cheaper plastics can become too flippy. Haven't experienced that with Royal Grand plastic.
I agree.. I have the Royal Grand Grace and haven´t thrown a huge amount of times.. obviously a couple of tree hits and it is starting to flip a little bit for me with my arm speed.. before it just went straight and then a little bit of fade.. compare to the Gold line which seems to be able to a lot of beating before getting flippy
@@gregrussell1787 I got my first Ace with a Grace. That Grace is super flippy now, it isn't quite a roller but two or three more bad hits and it's a roller. But other than that one Grace I agree with you, they get to the perfect spot and stay there
Great video, very informative. You showed the disc off really well. I now have a good idea how it flies and what it looks like. It looks similar to my Innova RocX3 which is 5 / 4 / 0 / 3.5
Wondering how close this is to an Anvil!?!? Love the Anvil. I’ve been told that the Royal line beats in quickly too. Getting ready to receive two super beat in Graces and compare them to brand new ones. Nice work on the reviews!
I now have thrown the Savior for about 3 weeks and to be honest I would have wanted som more stability to the disc. It's almost to similar in flight with the trust. I hope the stock run comes out a bit more overstable. :)
Mine is pretty stable. Definitely more stable than my Trust. Also more stable than my moonshine harp. Did you think it has more glide than the numbers say? I think the glide number should be higher.
I'm curious how this compares with the Loft Silicon midrange. looks very similar in design and flight. I love my silicon and know several locals that would love this Savior then!
I was going to learn how to throw forehand with it. Feels like a good disc for that. Feels like it's right in the middle of harp and bard in speed and stability.
It feels slightly more stable than a harp to me, but the biggest thing I’ve noticed is that it feels like it has more glide than the harp as well. This is assuming you are comparing it to something like a moonshine harp or something like that. Haven’t tried the bard, so I can’t compare that one.
I throw all trilogy (not sponsored, it’s just what I like lol). I really love the culprit but would love to use the new grand plastic if possible… would you know how it compares to a culprit? Both seem to be quite similar
I’m a sucker for Overstable mid range discs. Bard, Culverin, Justice, (Harp?)…I love them all. Other than the Royal plastic, is there anything about this disc that sets it apart from these?
They are all so different yet so similar. I think the best comparison I have right now is that it is a beadless bard. But i really enjoy throwing it at the moment

Every plastic from trilogy beats in ”fast” but i only think so because im used to innova plastic, have had champion discs for 5+ years and isnt that different from when new

I've heard some information that the speed might be a 4 instead of a 5 as I gave it.

By the looks of the flight it seems to more like a beadless Bard...holds a straight line for long and with a reliable fade/finish.

They are slightly different in profile but in flight they are really similar. So if you like the Silicon you probably will enjoy the Savior as well ;)

I think this may be a retooled Dynamic Discs Suspect.

sub culprit for culverin....culverin is a 9 speed. like a getaway. culprits is a mid/approach like a zone

Almost exactly the same. Savior is 12 mm and zone is 13 mm

How would you compare it to Järn?
The Järn is more overstable than the Savior. Long time ago since I held in a Järn but i think they are pretty similar in deepness of the rim.

Looks like a zone clone, hopefully it does not have a diameter like the culprit which to me feels to much like a real mid range
Culprits diameter is: 21.3 cm
Saviors diameter is: 21,4 cm
Looks like a toro or Jarn
It's not as stable as the Järn. Haven't thrown the Toro so can't give my thoughts on that
