That looks exactly what my hair looks WITH products! Maybe I am not putting enough products on my hair. You have gorgeous hair! Thank you for showing us!
nah you're probably doing just fine. Some people's hair is more prone to frizz than others and actually frizz isn't a bad thing. a little bit if frizz for hair gives your hair more volume :))
Tip if u diffuse add oil at the end. And maybe try a spray leave in conditioner before all ur other products. I am light skinned with 3a curls and I am extremely frizz prone. And this helped me so much to the point where I don’t need leave in conditioner now. Now I just use. A heat protectant a curl defining cream then I brush that through and finger coil the shitty pieces lol. Then add mousse let it air dry for 25 mins then diffuse on high speed medium heat once it’s dry I add oil in and scrunch out the crunch and we’re done xx 💋 hope this helps babe
@@lowkeyemilia it isn't lol. You just will need to wash it out with a shampoo with sulfates which might be drying. I love silicones, it makes my hair shiny and less tangled

My mum or aunts make me brush it out because of the frizziness. Sadly I belong to a society where straight means pretty. That’s close to what my hair looks like after drying I don’t use any products other then shampoo and oil before washing.
Ohh no..can u show them maybe insoghtful videos that prove brushing is the last thing u should do if you have naturally curly hair? While i personally dont think anyone ought to have u alter your natural hair pattern to suit what they or anyone else thinks to be attractive but if you have to put up with it till you're old enough to style your own hair, it may help for them to learn youre potentiallt damaging and over time losing your curl pattern doing that. Occasional straightening is fine but they really dont know the potential damage they could be doing to your tresses and showing them info about how to care for curly hair will help lots in having to damage repair later. Plus maybe you guys could compromise..if that is your hair when brushed out and no produxts and they want ur hair 'straight' then maybe use a denman brush or wide toothed comb if thats all you have to detangle and apply gel (alcohol free if possible) and a hair creme or moisturizer. Then your hair may be more a wavy by the time it dries and not as curly. That way its literally wavy and between both styles without risking damage to your hair..plus doesnt brushing it out not really make it straight just frizzy?
@@michelletalbot2281 yea my hair do get frizzy after brushing but they say atleast now it looks neat, not like a bird’s nest. Asian households aren’t familiar with curly hair as much as western society and they do consider it damaged and ugly.
@aimyandco Same here, my Hispanic mom who has pin straight hair always said that my hair was damaged because of how frizzy and poofy it was. I thought mine was straight too and treated it as such, and had no idea that curly/wavy hair had to be treated differently. I just recently tried the bowl method and realized that my hair is fairly curly, and also tried just scrunching it w/ a leave in conditioner & mousse and it looked good! I've always hated my hair so I'm hoping that by learning how to style it it'll look nice. Off to buy a diffuser ✌️

Wow so this is why my 2b hair went to 3a when I started scrunching my hair and using denman brush. My hair can also loosen back up to 2b if I start wearing Dutch braids for a while
i swear a few months ago i still thought i has straight hair and yes. I dont have any products but all i do is let them air-dry and i scrunch them with my hands and idk how but it works so well i have litteral CURLS not waves. CURLES!
I literally just twist my hair when I get out of the shower and it creates really tight Goldie-locks (3b/c). I'm just beginning to love and appreciate my curls as a guy who used to shave his head and never grew it out beyond an inch or so. Didn't even know how beautiful my curls could be until I was 30, literally last year. My hair is just longer than shoulder length now.
It's very early 90s I like it....add a form fitting vest over a tank top with some straight leg relaxed jeans with holes and wear, maybe a belt too and it would look adorable on u!
it works better if u let it dry whitout moving the curls. i do it and turns ok, i prefer using just an oil to preotect it from the humid weather but i also have the same curl pattern as u
I love my hair when I let it dry with out stuff... Sometimes. In most cases, it gets frizzy right away if it dries too fast or too slow. If it does turn out nicely, it only takes about an hour to mess up lol
I like your hair looks great. I use one product which is Aloe Vera 99% natural but still doesn't work for me I need to put the half bottle every time I do my hair

I HATE products in my hair. I hate the crunch and the ultimate sticky feel it gets at the end of the day. I can't stand it. Plus, with all the alcohol in them, it ultimately dries out my hair anyway. Not to mention all the crap makes my 55 year old skin break out. I use some silicones to tame the frizz, some oils, maybe some light hairspray to keep it in place, but that's it.
