- In this episode, we show you the issues seen with scanning shiny surfaces. What I used to be able to capture the trouble area. With more time I could have gotten a much better scan. Hope this helps in finding alternative options to use for coating your trouble area and or surfaces to capture awesome 3D scans.

If this is something you will be doing on a regular basis you should look into a trackball mouse. I can hear you having to pick up the mouse and move it in order to rotate the image. A trackball might make it a lot easier to maneuver the image as you work on it. Love the videos! Keep them coming.
Thanks bro, I was considering one. I appreciate the feedback. I sure need something that will help me maneuver easily.
@@507GARAGE no worries man. I just picked up the Logitech MX Ergo Plus and love it. It’s a much more comfortable hand position. You might want to go with a finger operated one like the Kingston Expert wireless track ball over a thumb operated one like I got. Either way not having to keep picking and moving a mouse is so nice.
4 pieces of alcohol and one piece of baby powder mixed in a spray bottle works good too.
Yes, this is true, I am new to it and was not aware of this alternative until after buying them.
Don’t forget that you don’t have to clean off 3D Spray!
You are right yes!!!
I notice you are using a Mac. I tried it with mine through bootcamp but was unable to keep tracking. I have a i9 MacBook prom with an 8gig AMD Card.
Mine has 32GB of RAM, what you will find is that you need RAM, Video Card of 8GB or higher and a good processor. So, if it’s struggling to keep tracking, what’s your RAM like?
Mine is exactly the same as you but when I plug the card it says that it can’t find the passive graphics card.
