Back when I got my small lathe, my budget only allowed me to get a used Taig lathe that was in rough shape & missing parts. I have it to where it works good for me now, but if I could have I would have gone for Sherline.
Great Setup friend! Similar to what my setup is. Was wondering where I could find plans to make the 3 compound slide adapters you have, they seem very useful! I too love to make my own tools and adapters for my metric mill/lathe set. It's a great hobby to have! Great work!
Thank you. I have drawings for all of those parts. I could email them to you as pdf files, (I drew them in SolidWorks, but the pdf drawings are very clear).
@@django4940 , I would really appreciate what you can offer, as I am relatively new (5th year of ownership) in honing my skills as a tool maker/ hobbyist. So far I've scoured the channels looking for sherline-relative tools to add to my collection. I believe you have my email? I'd like to see them, Thank-you! P.S. If you ever find channels/sites that offer tool addons for the sherline machines, please let me know!
Nice setup 😊 I’m a Sherline fan and owner as well. Thanks for the Video!
Beautiful little shop. 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello here from Brazil.
Congratulations on the new workshop.
I hope you can enjoy this excellent workshop for many years to come.
Thanks for sharing.
I have a set of barrister bookcases like those, but using them for holding tooling is a classy way of doing it, very nice.
Very useful info for sherline. My caution is waning about a sherline purchase, thanks.👍

I’m not understanding the reason for a caution. If you don’t mind, please explain it. Thanks
@django4940 just a glitch in my thinking as to the machines quality. Nothing serious. 👍
great work
Thank you

Thank you.
That was great!

Thanks for sharing. I have the mill and lathe as well, and you have given me several ideas to improve my setup!
I’m glad that some people are finding it useful. Best of luck with your setup.
