I agree. Kratos grew incredibly close to Freya based on how she treated Atreus alone, so I definitely believe the way Sindri loved Faye opened the door for their friendship.
I really liked Sindri from the get-go. He's immediately concerned about Faye even though he probably hasn't seen her in forever, and actually seems ready to risk death to at least try to avenge her, albeit nervously. I also imagine that he's a touch worried about suddenly seeing his weapons wielded by strangers for god knows what cause, especially after the Mjølner fiasco.
Sad Brok didnt do the same when he first met Kratos.
@@cwoherem Probably because Brok had a feeling that Artreus was Faye’s kid and that the axe ending up with Kratos was fine, something that time would later prove Brok to be correct if he figured that.

The dwarves in Norse mythology are absurdly good at crafting, to the point where even the Norse Gods couldn't make weapons that good. Thor's Mjolnir, Odin's Gungnir, the rope that was used to tie down Fenrir, the Dwarves are literally above god-tier at smithing.
Mikazuchi so all the weapons own by the gods are made by the dwarves? I knew it.
Cameron Sivret Yeah. Meanwhile all the signature Greek God weapons were made by the Cyclops and Hecatoncheires, like Zeus's bolts.
And the irony there is the the Hecatoncheires were Titans, like Cronus and Gaia, and betrayed their kin to serve Zeus.
Now we know where the lore for fantasy RPG dwarves being good at smithing came from.

Love how absolutely annoyed Kratos used to be with the blacksmith brothers. In Ragnarok he shows great respect for Brok, he has come a long way.
That scar on Kratos' torso was the injury he sustained vs Zeus' sword. To think Kratos survived such a horrific injury is testament to his immortality.

That fact that he outmatched death in his own realm showed that it had no control over him now. But here, Kratos is mortal, he can be killed.

The way everyone talks about her and especially the way Sindri was ready to definitely die for her makes me wonder what she looked like

Christopher Judge (Teal'C from SG-1) is the perfect match for this character. His ability to disconnect himself from emotion when acting is unbelievably brilliant.

They probably regret not showing act of kindness or even gratitude towards him and his brother Brok
They did in their own ways. Kratos even deemed Brok a master blacksmith and would rather have him bless his new weapon than a mythical creature that forged the said weapon. Atreus also deeply cared and relied on Sindri. He considered him family.

The flex isn't that kratos would absolutely stomp him, we all know that, the flex is that Sindri knows that too, but despite being terrified he's still willing to stand up and fight for Faye
The flex is Sindri's courage even facing someone infinitely more powerful than him

I don’t think Kratos would’ve hurt Sindri because he can sense his fear. I actually think Sindri standing up to him for his wife is what opened the door for their friendship. even in Ragnarök, Sindri thought Kratos was going to hurt him although Kratos had no intention on doing so, he just likes intimidating him.

I also love how side characters like Mimir and the blacksmith brothers came from just being comedic relief and plot points, to more fletched out characters in Ragnarok. Mimir was showed as this all wise person in this game but showed his past mistakes in Ragnarok. The blacksmith brothers, they especially got even more character development.
I can relate to sindri with his fear of germs or fear of feeling unclean.
When playing this I was 100% convinced Sindri was going to be Loki, He gave Atreus the Mistletoe (in the real myth Loki did not use the Mistletoe against Baldur, he gave it to someone to use like Sindri did), he has weird disappearing/ teleport magic, and just look at what he is wearing....the armour, the colours how is that not Loki??
Because Loki is a frost giant, not a dwarf.
