It is crazy seeing you go to retro game stores before the pandemic, and see how different prices are compared to now a year and a half into the pandemic.
Man it’s weird seeing all these retro game stores and such from pre-pandemic era. I really hope a lot of these mom and pop and small business style places were able to stay open throughout it, just so people could experience these kind of cool places once the pandemic is in the rear view mirror. Also, Shaq shrine. Pretty cool
A younger man stands in a game store. It just so happens that today, the 13th of April, 2018, is the day he saw shaq at a store. Though it was three years ago he did all this stuff, it is only today he will be showing that off! What will the name of this younger man be?
Never heard of Bazaar, must have moved out of the state since this video was shot. I've been going to Core for a while now, it's basically my go-to specialty store in the state. (they moved slightly down the same road for one reason or another) They've ditched the Shaq Fu gimmick display for whatever reason. There's another place I used to go to in Plaistow but as far as I remember their prices were jacked up compared to most other places in the state. I try to go there a couple times a year just in case though.
Mannnnn this just makes me wish there were more retro game shops in my city. One that my friends worked at closed down a few years ago, another closed last year, and I think there's only one left now that pulls double duty as a Tabletop shop, meaning its game selection isn't the most extensive. And like 5 GameStops.
I remember my first experience with those disks. Went to a local video stop in Indiana and couldnt figure out what to do and they were closing so we end up leaving empty handed only for my grandpa to find an underground disc in the mail. I played that thing for hours that saturday and sunday
The minute I saw the thumbnail I knew where you were. I went to high school with the guy who owns Core Gaming. Love to go there frequently. Glad it was a good stop for you.
Dang in Salem I live so close to there ah I’ve been in the same store, and I only went in because of you, ohhh nearby there is a harrasions an amazing comic book store and a few games too,
I can relate to disliking children, I really can't stand it when they scream at the top of their lung's, and the parents just stand there letting them do it.
Have you ever had a game store tell you, no, I don't want you to film in here? I'm imagining you always check first because these dramatic pans would be very obvious lol.
And where were those children's parents? Sheesh, kids these days. Glad I don't want 'em, glad I can't have 'em. And the parents just letting this happen are worse!
Tired: Getting a haircut by simply cutting your hair
Wired: Getting a haircut by traveling back in time to when your hair was shorter
I literally clicked on this vlog expecting the haircut song, not even questioning the fact this vlog's title is 'SHAQ'
Huh, didn't expect you to get a haircut via time travel. Points for originality.
Every 2018 vlog is another step closer to a completed timeline.
Now for a brief trip to 2018 before we finish the hair arc 💇🏻♂️

as far as hair goes, I was gonna say “that was fast” until I saw the date
So fast, it was in the past!
Stephen talking about the hotel full of children put me in mind of early Captain Picard.

I thought this was post hair-cut and then saw the year. The anticipation is insane
8:30 Hey, a game store I’ve actually been to! That place is great.
Is it not normal to have a Shrine to Shaq?
Not gonna lie, when I saw the title I thought for a second we were about to see a sequel to "Oprah".
There is still hope.
Yaaaaay!!! Gitaroo-Man is an amazing game! I got my hands on a copy last year and loved playing it!
I love game zone! I went there all the time when I lived in the salem area!

Ok so… there *is* a milford CT, but it’s down closer to long island sound, so driving there from new hampshire in a day would be… difficult

9:23 “All Pokemon games guaranteed to save”
Save money? They sure got that right!!
Oop, suddenly time travel back to 2018
Vlogs until end of old timeline: 49
The thumbnail!!!
2 more days and we're only 1 1/2 MONTHS AWAY FROM FINISHING THE OLD TIMELINE!!!!!
I didn't check the date so I thought Stephen got his hair cut despite knowing that the vlog for it was further up
I’ve gotten used to long hair in the new vlogs and short in the 2018 vlogs XD now it’s gonna take me a hot minute before realizing what is what

Holy shit, you were right by my house
I saw SHAQ and immediately knew you meant Core Gaming, crazy

Tbh I didn't like the long hair Stephen, makes you look much older. Now you look so much younger

"Where the f*** are your parents? Who are your parents? I'm going to call child protective services. It's time to stop!"
