@@billanddeb I understand. I do not use Wickepedia. Growing up I was aware by word of mouth, but also by Mr. Weissmuller’s interview on television but by our local paper which was known as the Today paper. Gannet later took the name and made it USA Today and ruined a much award winning paper. Many article on the park. Loved swimming in the springs. Not many gator’s around the springs then as they were chased away, but gators go anywhere there is water. Enjoy the springs the next time you come visit!
Hey is J.R and Terrie because that campsite was all booked up we booked a campsite with the same name down the road a piece so we'll be there for that Saturday in February 20 22 I think it's next door or close by so we'll still looking forward for the rendezvousand now God's willing will see y'all there or somewhere maybe in between
This was our first time kayaking with gators. No one else seemed to mind (locals) so we just rolled with it. Actually had one swim across right in front of me.
We try and stay in COE campgrounds, national parks or state parks. Some private owned campgrounds might turn you away. We call the private ones to ask.
Have been down the Silver Spring river back a few years ago and have been wanting to go back ever since!! We live 3 hrs north and it would be very doable if my husband was working all the time!! Your ctc plans gave us a different prospective and it may change our layout. Imagine that!! We are very close to ordering our trailer here in Georgia as we live 1 hr away from the factories! Could you share why you have chosen Rock Solid as your manufacturer??? Thanks for the wonderful view of the river. The monkey population is getting out of hand down there. But how about those alligators?
This will be our second trailer from Rock Solid. Although it wasn't perfect (none of them are) we were sufficiently satisfied with the overall build quality. In addition, the put the windows and doors exactly where we requested them, which was very critical in our initial build (and will be in this one too). We had a few water leaks we needed to address but as we admonish everyone to remember, cargo trailer manufacturers build cargo trailers to "haul cargo", not to "live in". It's up to us to make the necessary adjustments to make them suitable for our intended purposes.
Thanks for sharing Your Journey, Many Thanks, Much Love 💕
Silver Springs is a great place thanks for showing us. Looking forward to your build too😊😊😊

Love hearing the birds in the background. And the view isn't real bad either!!! LOL
The monkeys in Silver Springs were imported for the making of the .Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan series. Grew up here in Florida.

Great view! Are y’all afraid of the gators? Beautiful scenery thou!

Gators ARE stealthy. I've walked up to several and could pet them they were so close. Never saw them until it was too late.
Looking forward to the new build. I have learned alot for all your videos. Do you have any plans to make it to western nc. Would love to meet you guys
North Carolina is on the list, just not sure when yet.
@@billanddeb maybe our paths will cross while you enjoy the mountains of wnc
Do any camp grounds give you a hard time with the cargo trailer I'm building one and I'm curious
