The beginning of this was him finishing up his "Extreme Human Behavior" routine which you should also check out. "The Trillion Daves" is also great as well.
I think one of the best examples of George Carlin’s genius was his ability to go from this type of comedy to being one of the people who played Mr. Conductor on the children’s show Thomas the train
George always bringing the unvarnished truth that most people don't want to hear. He was unapologetically in your face. There are many contemporary comics who echo his themes, but take a somewhat more subtle tone.
Do find any of his earlier stuff (pre 1990, preferably 1970's... albeit the 70's stuff was mostly audio, as in LP, cassette or CD). It's far funnier and not nearly so dark. 😁
George was one of a kind.previous comments have mentioned Lewis Black. He is similar but in a more ranty way. I know you have seen Doug Stanhope, but if you watch his specials from the early to late 2000's I think you'll find him similar, but more twisted
Carlin has always been one of those comedians I've really enjoyed, but it's rarely laugh out loud funny. Towards the end he started getting a little preachy. His bit on "religion" is one of my favorites.
What a great philosophical stand-up! I don’t disagree with George on any topic. Comedy that forces you to think, to question everything, points out the absurdities of society, and teaches us the unbelievable power of language. Rip
Bill Hicks was a newer Carlin… I think Carlin even copied some of Hicks ideas, and became more “preachier’? … Hicks is definitely in my top 3… maybe #1
@@joshuanova9977 Thank you for typical response when a person is wrong. "don't really care". This is the way women behave, not men. Don't be a little bitch. That's not a good look for a man.
@gandr.e.5136 damn dude. Chill. You took that way too seriously. I was just saying idc what his real age was. I was more of just saying he was old. I didn't know his exact age. Not that big a deal you psycho
@@joshuanova9977 Calling me a psycho is once again expected. I'm just pointing out that you think like a little bitch. Whenever you correct a woman, she can't accept that she is wrong, so her typical response is "I don't care". My original response was just pointing out that he was 71 not 80 and you, instead of just acknowledging the fact, responded like a typical woman with "don't really care", but now you make it look like I took it too serious. Grown men shouldn't respond like little bitches is my point.
I got to see George live as well and it was such a fantastic experience.

George Carlin the man changed comedy. After one year throw everything away and start new. Thanks George. RIP.
He will forever be on the Mt. Rushmore of comedy. Thanks for the video, guys. 👍👍
George Carlin is the narrator I grew up on watching Thomas & Friends. He may cuss a lot in his stand-up, but he makes damn good points.
He's one of the great minds of the Comedy World.
What an absolute legend!. So glad your back Blokes!
You have to react to George Carlin “The Trillion Daves”
Def check out his 'Football vs Baseball' bit too!

Scary that Haiti is kind of experiencing that right now. So I guess he was right.
True bro, just one small step away from barbaric times.
Stay safe, stay armed and stay prepared always

that entire stand up bit is legendary
“S*icide guy” is literally one of the darkest things he ever wrote in this comedy show. It’s f*cking hilarious too, check it out.

Thank you 🙏 great 👍 reaction and cups ☕️🧋☕️with your names on them no cake 🍰👏👏👏👋☮️
German - Swiss American here! We would have to go live near the Amish and get educated on how to survive without electricity! 🤔🤔🤔👨🌾👩🌾🧑🌾

Guys please do more Carlin
Sad thing is what he is talking about is so true. Makes you wonder if we will ever be civilized.
That's a scary thought
Dave only hears what Joe rogan would've heard 😂😂😂
You guys should react I Paul Harvey if I were the devil it’s really interesting and super deep.
You stilll have two good CONAN videos to do; 'Conan & Jordan escape the room' and 'The 58th Annual Emmys Opening' video by 1980riley.

Are you able to do Steve Martin from the 70's? is it a strike?
Everything humans can do, will be done. The best and the worst.... mostly the worst... that's more fun, as it seems.
Modern Man please !
It’s the best opening ever
This is what I was going to recommend!😅
@@DenariusHaveNarius great minds think alike my friend
Have you watched Lewis Black’s comedy?
"Buy more guns." Sad to be you.

Dennis Leary is the only comic noted for stealing Hicks style, not Carlin.
Carlin grew angrier and more bitter with age. By this time in his life he seemed to utterly loath humanity, particularly his own race.
You blokes got a bad version of this
Yeesh !! 😅 suicide? Did not expect that topic today hahaha. I love that Carlin KILLED it at 80 years old.
He was 71 years old when he died.
@gandr.e.5136 oh okay, dont really care lol. Still old af ... killing it.

Theres so many bits about him being so funny, not so much of the profesor, tupe
cynical. dark. definitely not his best. (and to be honest I'm starting to think less of him....)
Not every one has to agree with your point of view
